Perfeita!

A estadia superou nossas expectativas! A pousada é um luxo acompanhando todo o charme e aconchego do Quadrado, o café da manhã delicioso e diversificado com direito a tapioquinha, omelete e um bolinho feito pela manhã, tudo muito fresquinho. Preciso ressaltar a educação e gentileza dos funcionários, um destaque especial para o gerente Pedro que foi extremamente cortês! Falando em detalhes, as acomodações são tão aconchegantes, com um chuveirão perfeito para um pós praia, e a piscina de água quentinha com um bar de drinks maravilhosos nem se fala. Além de tudo a privacidade e a paz da pousada me deixaram muito satisfeita. Já tenho meu lugar preferido em Trancoso!

Um lugar cheio de virtudes e vantagens. Começando com a localizacão, perto do quadrado mas distante o suficiente para dormir bem. Equipe de 10! Café da manhã show. Quartos lindos, piscina, show!

Super satisfeito com minha estadia, me senti em casa!!

A qualidade do atendimento, ambiente super limpo e acolhedor. Roupas de cama e banho de qualidade, limpas e cheirosas. Recebemos uma atenção especial para tudo que precisamos, as solicitações de indicações de alimentação e passeios foram incríveis. Atendimento praticamente personalizado. E complementando, um café da manhã saboroso e sempre com muita atenção do time.

Não tivemos nada de que não gostássemos….Tudo foi muito bom e perfeito.

Superb

Beautiful gardens and pool area, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, super clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff! The location was an easy walk to the Quadrado for restaurants and dinner options.

Don't forget your insect repellent! We suffered a lot of mosquito bites (everywhere in Trancoso, not just at the pousada!)

Beautiful property at the heart of Trancoso

The property is well kept, and beautifully decorated with a beach vibe, very private. The room was spacious and clean and we liked the bathroom with an outdoor feel. The staff was helpful and welcoming. Thank you to Pat and Cris for all the tips. Location is also great, walking distance from the quadrado.

I adored my stay at Aguas das Trancoso! It’s a rare treat when a hotel exceeds one’s expectations. An incredible location, discreetly hidden in a bougie neighborhood of Trancoso. A mere 5 minute walk from the Quadrado, but a world apart. This beautiful Pousada wraps you in a warm hug the moment you arrive. The design is stunning, all Wabi Sabi architecture, natural materials, Palm leaves, rattan, terracotta, poured concrete etc. It’s just a year old thus everything is modern and comfortable. Each villa is designed for total privacy, with stunning bathrooms and fixtures, in room refrigerators, great air conditioning and views out to the lush, well established gardens where if you’re really lucky you may spot a rare monkey or sloth just passing by. Bed linens and towels are immaculately clean and starched white! Daily cleaning is utterly thorough and WiFi is abundant throughout the property including the common areas (great WFH potential for global nomads). The pool and relaxation area became my own personal sanctuary, after long days spent at Trancoso’s many beaches. The pool remains open 24 hours, perfect for late night floating observing Trancoso’s magical night sky. Breakfast is light, fresh fruit and juice, strong coffee, yoghurts, freshly baked cakes and tapiocas, eggs to order etc. Stunning as this property is, I reserve my greatest praise for its kindly hosts, who live just next door and literally adopted me before I even arrived. The Pousada is the long held dream of owners Patricia and Christian, and you can really tell they care about what they’ve created here and welcome all visitors with great affection. Patricia curated my trip, made reservations, planned outings and adventures and was always available via text for recommendations and requests (she has great taste!!). Her husband Christian was equally kind and genuinely cared about my happiness during my 8 day stay.

Lack of attention of detail, not worth the price, nice pool though

Beautiful pool, large room with full kitchen, very good wifi speed, decor and ambiance was very pretty and trendy

No shampoo and conditioner were provided by the hotel. Every time we asked for a pool towel, they only had one dry to offer us. Outside in the pool area there was a strong smell of cat poop. We had to tell the staff specifically where so they could clean it after it stayed there for multiple days. Outside pool area chair broke while using it (wood was rotting) The slow response of the owners (upon checking in we asked the owners to help with some issues that needed immediate attention not mentioned above and they replied that they were preoccupied at the moment and we’re not able to come until later) Generally there’s just not enough staff here to properly service the guests, and a lack of attention to detail makes it not worth the price.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Its a brand new pousada and the room is great! Breakfast and facilities as well! short walk to Quadrado but in the quite and tropical garden area.
