Lovely stay in the city

Absolutely loved my stay here, my room was lovely and the beds are super comfy. Very clean & modern hotel. I had a nice view over the city. Will book again

Beautiful spot to enjoy Melbourne

Great central location and lovely decor. High floor bath room came with bath salts and bath bomb to use during our stay. The staff were all friendly and genuine.

The bar was a little small - I can image it would become quite crowded on a busy night.

Great staff! Great restaurant upstairs! Comfortable bed!

Rooms are pretty small. We got a room that was 2m2 bigger and still found it a bit squishy. Everything else was great about the accommodation

why would the hot water finish .??? and it took ages for it to get warm once turning the tap on . the music in bar is low enough not even hear it. staff in the bar need to a bit more outgoing .! have a little smile on their face . having some sun beds by the pool would also be good .

Excellent location, beautiful facility, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Melbourne.

The hotel is in a brilliant location - across the road from Emporium and lots of laneways around with cafes. A short walk (15 min) to Marvel Stadium, the Southbank precinct and everything else we needed was within 15 min walk. The hotel itself was beautiful - clean, modern - and the facilities (eg. Free sparkling and still water, gym, library nook, hotel restaurant) were all excellent.

There are only 3 lifts catering to a lot of floors so sometimes these were quite slow to arrive

Breakfast was good, they make the your eggs to order. The coffee was the highlight, which was cafe quality

Paid for a stay we couldn’t utilise

Arrived just after 4. Room not ready, Had to find a public bathroom to get changed in, to make our reservations. Room ready at 7! No apology, offered us a free drink at the bar.

This property was in the best location with very lovely staff!!

Hospitality was perfect and room was very nice with fancy hot beverages in room and unlimited filtered bottled water for duration of our stay. Wonderful bed and shower. And we were even able to use my Netflix on the chrome cast. We just walked everywhere because nothing was very far. Great stay!!!! Also delicious breakfast with lots of choices. You can order eggs anyway you’d like them cooked

The hotel is beautifully presented, feels luxurious - lobby area is pretty! Breakfast was great and good value for money if booked early. Rooms and bathrooms are super clean, beds are comfy, lovely decor. Fantastic stay!!!!

The pool area could be nicer. The steps to the pool are a little awkward. It would be nice to have tanning beds instead of chairs.

Central location

Decor was lovely, great location and outdoor pool was nice.

Service was not great. You have to go to reception to grab your water bottles, there were none left and I had to follow up a few times for water bottles. During our stay, water was not delivered to our room and I was also told there was a 2 hour delay in water.

Fabulous amenities, gorgeous room, worth the extra $ for the bath.

Loved the room, it was very clean and had a luxurious feel without being over the top. We chose a room with a separate bath, which had a lovely view out of floor the ceiling windows. The bath salts, bath bomb, and other bathroom products were absolutely divine. Bed was comfy with nice linens. Room service was prompt and very reasonably priced, as well as tasty. It made for a lovely overnight getaway from the kids for us.

The elevator system is great when it works. Other times, you can get stuck going up and down to levels you don't want to be on. Have to get out and request it again as you can't select a level option once inside the elevator. We didn't use the pool as we didn't like the idea of walking through the bar and restaurant in our swimwear to get to it. Either the pool, or restaurant was an after thought, given there's no other way to get to the pool.

Perfect location and style!

I love how central is voco located. Super close to shops, cafes and restaurants. And also a safe good vibe around. I loved the comfort of the room with an amazing view of the city. The room was in a decent size and the shower was quite good.

It took a while for the room service to clean our room. So sometimes we would spend the day out and when we're back around 4, the room was still without cleaning.

Awesome stay, very nice hotel and in a prime location, close to everything.

The staff were professional, friendly, and lovely to deal with. The room was fantastic and clean and tidy. The view from my room was awesome, as I had the room on the 23rd floor. The breakfast was very nice, heaps of options and the staff were very helpful always.

The only thing I suggested is having a better pick up and drop off area on the side of the street, where drivers had a designated parking spot to wait for the customer to come out of the hotel and come to them. My driver told me they only have 1 minute to wait for you and would get fined if they took longer. So I feel you need a designated parking spot for them to use to pick up the hotel guests. Also, my dinner tray was never collected , that I left outside my room. Apart from that I really liked the hotel and liked the staff.

Not worth it - your money is better spent elsewhere.

Location was excellent.

Sheets were rough and scratchy, and duvet didn’t enclose the blanket. Bedspread had debris and stains on it. Pillows were super thin and provided no support, and when I requested another, I was told they were at capacity and didn’t have any more. As a hotel, for the price I paid, I expect there to be a certain level of hospitality - not a ‘source your own pillow adventure’. I ended up sleeping on my coat to support my neck. Bathroom facilities need to be upgraded - lots of marks and scuffs on the tiles and grout. Small rooms, bathroom situation was odd as well with the curtain on the outside.

The hotel was beautiful with a wonderful ambience. The stand out for us was the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing and so was any other food that we ate there.
