About this house rental

This large six bedroom seven bathroom oceanfront home has everything you've ever wanted in a vacation! As you enter the home you're greeted by a cavernous ceiling with large modern chandelier. On your left is the formal dining room, which comfortably seats six. In front of you is the modern, yet beach-themed living room which is central to the first floor and contains a large HDTV along with several windows and a set of doors which lead to your expansive private pool and outdoor entertainment area. Between the living room and dining room, the kitchen resides in its full glory. This kitchen features new, state-of-the-art, Jenn-Aire stainless steel appliances, custom granite countertops and custom cabinetry. The kitchen will be fully-equipped with everything you or your private chef will need to cook for multiple families. Directly adorning the kitchen is a breakfast nook with seating for eight, along with counter seating for an additional three.

The first guest room on the ground floor will normally be set up as a King bed. Upon request, the room can be set up as 2 Twin beds for a fee.
Completing the first floor is the primary suite. The primary suite contains a king bed, HDTV, access to the private pool area, huge walk-in closet and an en-suite primary bathroom. This primary bathroom contains multiple granite vanities, a large tiled walk-in shower and a separate soaking tub itself adorned with granite.

Moving upstairs we have the four remaining bedrooms, another living room area, half kitchen and a second laundry. The second laundry contains a stacked washer and dryer. Top of the stairs to the right is the second primary suite. This second primary suite has a king bed, sitting area with chairs and loveseat, HDTV, large walk-in closet and an expansive en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is similar to the first primary bathroom with multiple granite vanities, large walk-in tiled shower and a separate sunken tub. The first guestroom has a king bed, HDTV and another large en-suite bathroom. This bathroom has two granite vanities, large sunken tub and a tiled walk-in shower. The next guestroom has a king bed, HDTV and en-suite bathroom with granite vanity along with a tub and shower combination. The third guest room also features a King bed and en-suite bathroom. There is access to the upstairs oceanfront balcony from this room. The final guestroom has two Queen beds, walk-in shower and a separate large sunken tub. Completing this top floor is the half kitchen with granite countertops, small fridge, microwave and bar seating for four. There is a small table beside the kitchen with additional seating for four. The living room is nicely designed with a sectional sofa, HDTV and access to a private balcony overlooking your private pool complex and the Atlantic Ocean!

Outside you will enjoy a custom grilling area with large stainless propane grill, bar seating for several with a built-in umbrella. There are two tables for private outdoor dining along with seating areas for relaxation in the shade as well as multiple areas for suntanning with direct oceanfront views. The centerpiece of all this is, of course, the oceanfront pool and spa. Beach access is five steps away from your back patio!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the house was great. my daughter left her Tyson hair Dreyer in the closet of the upstair left bedroom. I immediately notified you of the mistake upon our exit. I was given horrific customer service and they told me they would have to contact the cleaning service. they would not allow me to contact them. the hair dryer is $500. I finally heard after a long time the they only found the attachment. the attachment attached to the hairdryer so clearly the cleaning staff stole the hair dryer. this is very disappointing. unless this is rectified I will not rent from you again and will let the owners know of my experience with the cleaning crew. otherwise I loved the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great LocationThe house has a wonderful location with a short walk to the beach and a nice pool which in July does not need heating. Similarly, the ocean is quite warm in July. It is a very shallow beach with small waves. This is ideal for small children who don’t swim or are learning to swim. The house was comfortable and roomy for 8 adults and 4 small children. It is a short walk to the Dunes house for casual outdoor lunch or dinner.The house was in good condition but had several problems. There are four outdoor umbrellas, but they are not in good working condition and don’t provide a lot of shade. In the morning there is not a lot of shade from the house nor enough comfortable seating. We spent most of our time in the pool. You need plenty of sun block and SPF 50 shirts. The net for cleaning the pool had a hole in it. We were given a short, useless net to replace it. There were wasps in the bush near the hose for cleaning sand off your feet. Management did send someone to spray the bush. The air conditioner on the upper level was not working and was not fixed during the week we were there. We were brought two fans instead. The temperature on the lower level was quite cold and you are told by management not to adjust it. The water pressure in the showers was weak. If you like to cook, the range in the kitchen was temperamental. The temperatures were not consistent or easy to regulate. The smoke alarm would be set off. To get it to medium-high was difficult. There were no salt or pepper shakers, no slotted spoon nor garlic press. There was an extra refrigerator in the dining room which was quite helpful. These problems did not outweigh the benefit of the location. However, management was slow to respond to any complaints, particularly about the rigid check-in procedure during the hot month of July. If you have a flight that will get you to Hilton Head earlier than the 4pm check-in time be prepared to melt-down.

It was a real plus for everyone to have their own bathroom and privacy. When we arrived there were two refrigerators in the kitchen because, apparently the original one was not getting cold enough. We used both. Our grandchildren LOVED the pool & hot tub & played for hours all day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we pulled up to the property we were excited and looking forward to a week of family fun time. This 6 bedroom, 6 full bath was more than accommodating for the 10 of us. Family Room, Kitchen and Laundry were duplicated on both floors of this house allowing everyone easy access to all the comforts of home. The outside seating and pool were of course very generous as well. Easy access to the beach right out the back yard gate made it great to run back and forth for snacks and drinks. There is access to a full bathroom from the outdoor patio as well. Outfitters (bike and beach rental) was great. Our rentals were waiting for us on the driveway when we arrived. Highly recommend. You wont be disappointed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was gorgeous with plenty of room for a large family. The view and access to the beach was awesome and the pool was refreshing. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware and cooking/bakeware. It was conveniently located near the Dune House where our daughter got married.We only had a few small complaints: a little trash left by previous renters that was not cleaned, a broken bathroom window that would not close all the way and the water dispenser on the refrigerator door leaked onto the kitchen floor so we were unable to use it. It was reported but was not repaired during out stay. Overall it was an amazing place for our family and I would highly recommend it.
