About this cabin rental
Located on 4.94 private acres with beautiful mountain views located within walking distance to the City of Helen! Close to wineries, water falls, tubing, hiking, events, grocery stores, restaurants, shops, antique malls, and so much more. Unicoi walking trail head for Unicoi State Park is also located right accross the street from the lodge and gives a fun adventure without having to drive to get there. You can also utilize the park at the bottom of the drive for downtown parking.
When you enter the lodge you are welcomed with an open concept that starts with the coat/mud room and then opens up to a spacious living area accented with an oversized stone fireplace. The living room and sunroom have floor to ceiling windows with magnificent views of Yonah, Sal, and Pink Mountains. Dining areas spread out all over the main level offering a formal dining room for those special events or just hang out in the eat in areas surrounging the living room for that cozy at home feeling. The bedrooms are sectioned off from each other to give added privacy. Recreation and loft areas offers half bath, pool table and added space for sleeping for larger guest groups. Amazing covered patio with lots of seating for guest to relax and enjoy a quiet lazy day, special events, or even rainy days are enjoyable, back patio offers a pleasant area to enteratin at night as well with amazing sunsets and sunrises. Hot tub available for guest to also enjoy. Unlike many other cabins and local venues we have tons of private parking for your stay.

House was perfect for a large family get together. It was a short walk to the trail and about a mile walk to town. Plenty of parking. Also plenty of seating both outdoors and in the dining area.
We did bring an electric griddle for cooking breakfast but otherwise the kitchen has everything we needed. If you plan to go tubing or to the waterpark, bring your own beach towels.

Our family of 17 ranging from 2 - 63 had the best time at this Mountain View Lodge. There was more than enough of everything to last us 7 days, plenty of sleeping and dining areas. Teresa was very communicative before and during our stay, definitely would stay here again!

Our family very much enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July. There was plenty of room for all of us. (21 including 2 tiny infants) It was great for each family unit to have their own bathroom. Lots of activities in the area if you want to brave the crowds over the 4th - tubing, hiking, mountain coaster, restaurants, etc. We made good use of almost all aspects of the house - corn hole (bring your own bags), hot tub, grill, fire pit. Oven is smallish for a house that size, but there is also a grill and microwave. The area in the back looking out over the mountains is lovely. We spent a lot of time out there.

I was looking for a getaway house close to Helen to enjoy a Hallmark Christmas movie feel experience for my birthday. This house was perfect! It was so large and able to accommodate so many of us. I knew it was close to Main Street but the driveway is right there! It’s a long haul ip the driveway but when you pull onto the driveway and see the view it’s breathtaking. You could see the town and beautiful Mountain View’s. The house was stocked with everything we needed, blankets, pillows, kitchen cookware EVERYTHING! Working with Theresa was so easy as well, she was quick to respond to all the questions I had even while we were there. Everything about this home was exactly what I needed and we had the best time!

This was perfect for our group of 21! The house is in a perfect location! The scenery from the large back living space is spectacular! Plenty of parking, fully stocked kitchen. Highly recommend!

The Mountain View Lodge was spectacular! Nestled away in the middle of the woods, overlooking downtown Helen and the mountains, this piece of paradise was SO PERFECT for our group. We had a professional all girls performance group from Tampa stay for camp. The layout of the house was perfect, with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and common area. The views made you feel like you were one with nature, in the woods. We saw deer and even a bear....The house had everything you would ever need, and felt like home. Fully stocked kitchen, bedding and towels for everyone. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and the outdoor space allowed you to really enjoy the mountains.
The owners were so responsive and accessible as well and provided lots of recommendations for things to do. The owners even helped us take out all the garbage; personally delivered packages to the house and were very attentive to any questions we had.
If you want a getaway spot in Helen I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this home. It is so convenient to the center of town, so tranquil and you feel like you are living in a mountain resort while there.

My husband and I got married at a vineyard in Cleveland and we had our wedding party stay here for the weekend. It was absolutely perfect! It has so many rooms and lots of space for a big group of people. The patio is so spacious and has beautiful views. Teresa was so helpful with any questions we had and was very accommodating with any requests. Highly recommend, 10/10!!

This was probably the most fantastic experience I've had renting a vacation home. Perfect location, perfect views and the absolute best owners to work with. Everything was easy, communication was great and follow up was excellent. If this is available. You should grab it while you can!!

Our family chose Labor Day weekend to gather from all parts of the U.S. and we chose Helen as our destination. The house was extremely comfortable for the 17 people who stayed there. The game room was perfect for the kids to set up their own PlayStation and for the adults to enjoy a game of pool or darts. There were so many places for everyone to enjoy quiet conversations in a comfortable and relaxing setting. Even the large amounts of rainfall didn't affect our stay, we still hiked at Raven Cliff Falls, toured the city, enjoyed a roller coaster ride, played putt-putt golf, and toured the Hardman Farm. So much to do and see in Helen, and the home made the visit everything we dreamed of. Thank you for sharing the property with our Family.

This was the first time our large family of 12 had vacay together since covid-19. We wanted this time to be special and this location did not disappoint!
We requested a clean, refreshing open space home with a full kitchen with cookware
and lots of dining space. Open space living area to accommodate family tv time, conversations, dancing, and singing. And an added bonus was the game room.
Bedroom privacy with each having its private bathroom was essential.
A huge terrace with a fire pit, great outside views
and a BBQ grill suited our laid-back attitudes.
The home is nestled on top of a private Mountainside surrounded by incredible 360 degrees of breathtaking views of nature. Yet, only minutes from beautiful downtown Helen, Ga. It was a joy slow walking the streets being greeted with friendly smiling.
Food stores, an assortment of restaurants with great food.
Specialty shops:
Candy, glass blowing and crystal shops, and water tubing.
A few minute's drives introduced us to many other amazing towns and historical
scenic views.
We had the pleasure of meeting our host, their friendly and southern charm was a plus!
We plan to return soon.

Wonderful Place
The property and location was more amazing than we imagined from just looking through the listing. It was the perfect fit for our family reunion of 19 people. The hosts were great and attentive to any needs that came up. Highly recommend staying here.

2022 Family Vacation
We had a wonderful long weekend. Lots of room for everyone. We had 8 adults and 5 children and there was room for more. Owners were very accommodating. View is spectacular.

Wedding party
We had the best time with our friends at this house. It is so convenient to downtown Helen, plenty of comfortable beds for everyone to sleep, and the porch area was absolutely amazing. For once, we wanted to stay at the cabin rather than exploring downtown because it was so fun. The owners were also extremely helpful, considerate, and great with communication. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Family Reunion Setting
The house and rooms are great. The view is amazing. Everything worked great, everything is provided for you. Simply a great experience. Teresa was just incredible and was always on top of everything. So do not hesitate to contact her if you do have an issue. Thank you!

Not the best of weather for hiking or sitting around the firepit
Overall a great week except for the weather it was too hot for hiking or sitting around the fire pit. StYed indoors most of the time and played games

Staff retreat
Excellent accommodations. Our staff enjoyed our own space yet was able to come together for cooking, painting, and having fun. Mrs Teresa and her company was absolutely wonderful. Thanks for great stay.

This property has beautiful view and although located away from town it is conveniently located for easy access to shops and restaurants. The owners do a great job of providing all necessities. It was a great family time together,, the grandchildren said this was the best vacation place ever.

Teresa is awesome! Very accommodating, responsive, and knowledgable. All of her recommendations were great. The Lodge has amazing views and is a piece of Helen history. We would stay there again for sure!

Perfect Paradise
The house is absolutely Beautiful. Hidden on a hill above town, the view is amazing and the nicely decorated and supplied house made living easy. The owner is very helpful and responsive and we really enjoyed our stay. We’d come again for sure!
