Located just steps from the ferry terminal and restaurants and shopping on Bay Walk, this home also boasts easy access to the island's stunning beaches. Suitable for up to 10 guests, this home offers the perfect blend of classic charm and modern essentials that the whole group will enjoy. Surrounded by lush, native foliage, guests will enjoy the enclosed yard and the feeling of privacy at the home. Spread out on the expansive, furnished deck with an outdoor dining table and gas grill perfect for cookouts and alfresco dining. The bright, open main living space features a front room, kitchen, and dining area. Gather around the plush sofas and enjoy movie nights on the TV. A wood-burning fireplace provides ambience and warmth in the cooler months. Home chefs will find everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals in the full-size kitchen. An island breakfast bar offers seating for four, while the formal dining table is set for six. Things to Know A long-term tenant lives in a detached apartment off the private back deck, but they do not share any space with guests. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is paid parking for 0 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The house was filthy when we arrived. Towels and sheets were dirty and stained with blood. Floors were filthy. Garbage was overflowing. Housekeeping was drinking and left beer cans all over. Dirty q tips were under the bed, food in the kitchen, wads of hair on the floor, tried to call and it took over 30 hours to get a response. We had to go out and buy cleaning supplies and clean ourselves just to stay. After 2 nights realized there were bed bugs and left. We called at least 4 times to complain and it took more than half our stay to get someone to come. Like I said we left a whole day early. Gross

We were nervous about the rental going in since it had a 1 star review but we found the home very comfortable and a perfect fit for my husband and three teenagers. Since it had a real beach cottage feel we just relaxed and had a great time hanging on the secluded back deck. The layout worked for us with kids upstairs and the master downstairs. Being close to town was super for the teens. We had our three Cavaliers with us and since the yard is fenced in the place was ideal.

House is cozy and charming, with old-world beach-house details like built-in closets and drawers. Large kitchen / living area is nice. Beware description of some things, though, unless they have since been changed since we booked: House has 2 bathrooms, not 2.5 as the listing had said, and the beds are more like full-size, not queen as we expected based on the listing.

It is difficult to have a bad time at Fire Island, so it wasn't terrible. However there was a reason why this house was available last minute, it was not as advertised, and was charging top $ for about half of what it's worth. You DO NOT get the entire house. The left wing of the house as pictured is occupied by a tenant. They have their own half of the deck, and you don't interact with them, but they do have a window and door on your side of deck. The house has 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower, not 3 bathrooms as listed (probably corrected by now). There are no bikes, no big knives, and no can openers. Finally, if you try to have a conversation with Vacasa about anything, they will stonewall you.

Not clean enough - hair in the bathroom Rundown property - the door knobs we’re coming off The pictures were misleading The staff kept asking to come to the property - unbelievably unprofessional We were told we couldn’t check in early / check out late even though we were then told we couldn’t check out after 10am because other people were coming in at 2pm….? Very very disappointing stay

Hi, unfortunately the house wasn’t very clean, the beds are very uncomfortable, the center fans don’t have a switch to turn them on/off, when we use the dishes they weren’t very clean, r te here was so much trash from a previous stay. The couch it’s so dated and not comfortable
