We stayed in the Princes Street Apartment for 5 nights. We rented a car and did day trips to Edinburgh (by train from Perth), The Hermitage, Pitlochry, and Saint Andrew’s. Naturally, we spent some time exploring Perth, as well. We prepared breakfast each morning in the apartment, which has a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed spending time outside on the terrace. Parking was easy, affordable and very nearby at South Inch Park, and the train station was about a 10-minute walk from the apartment.

We spent five nights in this apartment and used it as a starting point for day trips. The unit was comfortable, quiet, clean, and otherwise just as described on-line. The apartment is ideally located for walking (about ten minutes) to the Perth train station, which we used for a day trip to Edinburgh. We also rented a car, and we had no problem parking in front of the apartment or in nearby (2-minute walk) South Inch Park. We did day trips to The Hermitage, Pitlochry, and Saint Andrew’s, all of which were less than an hour away. The apartment is very convenient to everything you might need in Perth, including Saint John’s Square with all the restaurants, pubs and shops.

I stayed for two nights in Spring 2022. I had seen the apartment when searching a well known booking site and it immediately stood out to me, especially for the rooftop terrace. I was staying to break up a longer journey and to take some quiet time to do some work on a writing project. I have already got another, longer stay booked. Owner consistently prompt and friendly in her responses to messages.

As always I found the apartment in immaculate, tidy condition, warm and welcoming. It has a deep feeling of peace and I always sleep well in the cosy, comfortable bed in one of the most restful bedrooms I have ever stayed in. Internet connection good and consistent. Lovely living room for relaxing in and of course the gorgeous, very private terrace. All facilities on hand and the South Inch park, a joy to walk in, is in the process of getting new, much brighter lighting installed. Perth is life.

We liked: good city centre location: pleasant balcony area; No intrusive road noise: comfy bed: Good living area: Full kitchen: Good security: all clean and tidy. Not so good: uncomfortable kitchen stools: no eating table & chairs: shower very small [although it worked ok]: No on site parking but South Inch car park reasonable at £5.80p per day.
