PARADISE!!!! Plenty of room for 10! All you need to bring is clothing, food & drinks! We've got everything else covered!
Ocean Palms is conveniently located 1/2 way between Galveston & Surfside Beach in the quaint neighborhood of Treasure Island. The home is completely updated with new vinyl plank flooring. This stunning beach house is a perfect getaway & is a great spot to relax after a day at the beach! The home has recently been completed updated.
The Master bedroom has a king sized bed, and is located on the main floor. It has an en suite bathroom.
Upstairs you'll find 2 additional bedrooms that share a Jack & Jill bathroom (each with their separate vanities). One room features a queen sized bed while the other has 2 bunk beds- w/ a double bed on bottom & twin on top (room sleeps 6!)
All 3 bedrooms & the living room have a Smart TV.
The deck, living room, kitchen and upstairs bedrooms all have amazing ocean views! Every window in the house has either an ocean or bay view! Sit on the deck (you'll find deck chairs everywhere!) and enjoy the waves crashing or watch for dolphins jumping!
The Chef's kitchen has been recently remodeled with new cabinets, new quartz countertops & stainless steel appliances. We also supply all the dishes, glassware, cookware, gadgets, blenders & whatever else you may need for making drinks to snacks to large family meals. You'll find a Weber propane grill on the deck w/ an extra propane tank in the garage if needed.
When it's beach time, you'll find 2 Beach Carts that can carry 8 beach umbrellas, 10 Beach Chairs & lots of Beach Towels! All of these are provided for you in the garage! You'll find Beach toys, frisbees, boogie boards, fishing poles & life jackets! Upon return, rinse off in the private outdoor shower w/ hot & cold water before heading back upstairs.
We have beach cruiser bikes for both kids and adults! Bikes are stored in the garage and are ready to go, and there's an air pump should you need to inflate a tire (helmets provided and required for bike use).
There's room to park 4 cars under the covered carport and other cars can park in the 2 newly paved driveways on the large corner lot!
New Cleaning Process! Since the onset of Covid-19, a new cleaning and sanitizing process has been implemented. As always, we put in fresh bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, etc... We have also added extensive cleaning steps to sanitize all touch surfaces. Please note, while we do stock the place with toilet paper/paper towels & other items, once used you will need to resupply for the remainder of your stay.
Ocean Palms is located in Treasure Island - located at the San Luis Pass conveniently 1/2 way between Galveston & Surfside Beach. Treasure Island is a quiet, family-friendly community perfect for enjoying clean beaches, San Luis Pass fishing and shelling.
The swim-friendly beach is just a short walk or quick golf cart ride away. It is located within the Treasure Island community with the entrance at the end of Buccaneer Street where there is a path for walking and golf cart access. Take the bicycles, rent a golf cart, walk or drive to the beach. The swimming beach is along at the end of Buccaneer Dr. There's parking along Buccaneer Street if you choose to drive.
Treasure Island also has a lighted fishing pier and easy beach access to the sandy beach. If you cross Blue Water Highway to the bay side of Treasure Island, there is access to the Treasure Island Boat Launch on Fathom Ave. Using the boat ramp does require a code to the gate, so please let us know if you're bringing your boat so we can provide you with information on how to access the ramp. There are spaces to park your vehicle and boat trailer at the end of the street once you've launched your boat.
Crossing the San Luis Bridge ($2 toll bridge each way) takes you to Galveston.

Communication was great. The house has plenty of utensils and supplies. Beautiful breeze and view from the balcony. The home was clean and just a quick walk to the beach. Would stay again.

Great communication when our vacation was interrupted due to a hurricane. We were able to stay here instead of our previous arrangements and we were highly impressed! Great for fishing as well. Any problems we had, we communicated to the owners and they were quick to respond. Very thankful and happy with our stay! :)

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. 3 bedrooms, with a King in one, Queen in another and 2 bunkbeds in the 3rd. House was really clean, stayed cool and came with enough entertainment for the family. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans. Short walk to the beach. Would definitely bring mosquito spray, but that's for anywhere in Freeport/Galveston. Did not have the 6 seater golf cart as advertised in the title. Wouldn't prevent me from renting this house again though.

We absolutely loved our stay. The swimming beach was a perfect spot to spend the day while the kids played in the waves. The house is absolutely beautiful and has everything we needed. Hoping to stay here again! Owners communicated beautifully.

The house had everything we needed! We traveled with our dogs and 3 kids! We were able to travel in just our jeep due to the house being stocked with everything we needed! I LOVED THE BEACH CHAIRS! Sat right on the edge of the ocean for hours! The only thing missing (and maybe I just couldn’t find it) was a corkscrew for my wine. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone we passed while walking was friendly. There is beach access from the neighborhood. We parked there one evening and walked on. Another day we drove just a mile back towards Surfside and drove onto the beach. We didn’t get to the beach til about 10:30-11am and were still able to find a spot. The beach was not near as crowded as you’d expect it to be on a Saturday. The driveway lights were not working. Seemed to be burned out, but we brought the cornhole boards up on the deck and played there instead. We were able to get our groceries delivered from HEB, which was super convenient, however the convenient store that was close seemed to be closed down. I’ll take a short drive to a store for the privacy we had in the beach. Was so lucky not to have to get up early to get a spot while vacationing. Thanks for letting us stay!

Highly recommend renting the available golf cart as well as the house. Owner is a greater communicator and was very timely in his responses. House was clean, well stocked and very close to the beach. Will definitely come back for another beach getaway.

This is the first time we stayed in this side of The pass but I have to say we were very pleased. To start, the house is very well stocked with just about anything you need More than enough supplies in kitchen along with coffee pods. There was also a plethora of things for the beach and kids to use along with the bikes. Walk down to the swim beach wasn’t bad but you can also drive a few blocks down if not wanting to walk. There is also a nice walking beach right across from house.

We loved our stay so much the first time that we booked this house again. It is the perfect place for peace and quiet and since we're retired we are so glad to have a place to stay that is beautiful and has such great hosts that are super helpful, great at communicating and just so nice. Can't wait for the next time.

Ocean Palms Beach House is the perfect location for a get-a-way! The house is immaculate and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The location is only about a half block from the beach, so sitting on the deck and listening to the water was amazing. We had a great time walking on the beach and found lots of shells. Beach toys, bikes, boogie boards, chairs and umbrellas among other items are available, as well as life jackets and fishing gear. Will definitely go back! Thanks Ocean Palms for a wonderful week!

Beach Weekend
The house was awesome!!!! Perfect for our yearly weekend beach trip. the family had a great time. location is perfect with two options for beach access. House had everything we needed already provided so it made it so easy for everyone. the most well prepared home we have been at. we will be coming back to this one as often as we can.

I don’t live like this
The house had roaches 🪳 EVERYWHERE! They were in the kitchen, bathroom and we found some in the bed downstairs. I don’t live like this so I am very upset that I had to rent a spot like this. The roaches came out big and small while you ate or when you cooked. The scooter doesn’t work so be ready to drive your car. The temperature in the house was off. The downstairs room was hot and you might need the fan.

Beautiful home with great views
Wonderful home. Well decorated and stocked with even some basic toiletries.
Ocean/bay views all around and if you want to just fish or hang out in the sand it’s the perfect location. The beach you see from the home is illegal to swim on and the sheriff was giving out warnings and tickets. The swim beach was about a mile or so from the house if you try to walk, just don’t get caught on the dunes, or a couple miles down the main road you can find driving access. The golf cart was down so we don’t know if it was easier swim access with it.
Bring cash for the ice cream man if you drive to the main beach.
Very cute decorated house. There were a few little forgotten areas when it was cleaned like cabinets, behind and under furniture and the sheets felt sandy so we washed them before sleeping in them.
The only reason we gave a 4 star review instead of 5 was roaches. The first night there were a few in the bathroom and we planned to email the owner not put it on the review. However the next day we had to throw all the food away. They were in the coffee pots, microwave, cabinets and drawers. We tried the provided raid and it didn’t help. Pest control is desperately needed. There are also tons of ants but that’s a beach thing and not easily prevented. The roaches were all over the en suite bathroom and kitchen. The grocery store is 30 minutes away so having to throw out all our food was a real bummer not to mention having to keep the new food safe in the fridge and constantly clean the dishes, counters and so forth. They were in the spices, coffee, everywhere. We looked at another place to stay for fear of some hitchhiking home but couldn’t find one and didn’t want to waste the money spent here. We just left everything we brought outside while washing and sanitizing and had our pest guy come today to do a preventative treatment to make sure they didn’t find a new home. We would gladly stay here again once pest control was started. A very relaxing, roomy and inviting home. Oh the grill didn’t light well but eventually it did. That wasn’t a big deal at all but felt you should know.

Adorable house- well stocked. Everything was thought out to ensure the guests have a comfortable stay. Only issue was golf cart wasn’t working but I know things happen sometimes that are out of our control. The property manager gave us early and late check in/out due to golf cart situation. The neighborhood is quiet, beautiful views from deck. Overall a great property

Beautiful Home!
We had a party of 5 adults and 5 children; all of us enjoyed our stay! The home is SUPER organized and beautifully decorated. The owners thought of everything. We loved the layout of the kitchen/dining/living area. The seating arrangements were well thought out and all 10 of us could be in the same area comfortably. The deck was amazing - we especially loved the gate on the deck since we had small children. We would definitely stay again!
