About this cabin rental

Welcome to the Chatthhoochee National Forest in North Georgia Mountains where year round adventures begin. You will park your vehicle and walk almost everywhere in Downtown Helen. So much to do with shopping, dinning, golfing (mini and 18 holes in Innsbruck), tubing, gem mining, roller coaster, zip line for all ages and the list goes on!

Chalet Munich is located above a retail space and the hours of operation are 11am-9pm. The guests will have the entire upstairs floor for their privacy. Chalet Munich is not handicap friendly and stairs are needed to enter the unit. The parking is in the rear of building for one vehicle. The interior is a modern rustic with handmade wooden furniture. You have your own private balcony with a city view.

Property was very well centered to town and close to a lot of the local shops. It was nice being able to walk to most places. The lights on the front at night weren’t a problem for us but definitely made the room not as dark at night

What a charming place to stay. The living space was big & roomy. Bathroom was a little small. Bed was comfortable. Nice having a washer & dryer. Met the owners Bruce & Christy who were busy working their shops Christoff's. Perfect location just off the beaten path. There's a parking space too. Downtown is steps away. Just a note, even with blinds shut, because of outdoor lights, the room doesn't get very dark for sleeping. Our 1st time visiting Helen GA and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

If you're looking for something worth the money spent, this is a great location for a couple to stay while visiting Helen. Everything is practically within walking distance of everything! Glad it was available for us at the time we needed it.

The property was perfect for a getaway. Close to everything, we were able to park our vehicle and not get into again until we left. We will book the same place for a December stay. The property was very clean and had a ton of room.

My husband and I enjoyed staying here for my 50th birthday! Great location & close to everything. The property was very clean and the bed and sofa was very comfortable. We absolutely loved the ease of just being able to walk to everything. Not complaints just Helpful hints for those staying: There is no kitchen sink. Bring disposable utensils for if you need to stir your coffee or for eating leftovers. The lights that outline the buildings illuminate the room at night so I recommend bringing an eye mask. It is very bright at night. Also the shower floor can be a bit slippery so be extra careful there. We would definitely stay again and if we return to Helen.

Awesome place to stay. It was very clean and comfy. We were able to walk to everything. The host are easy to communicate with and very nice. They also have the best popcorn and pretzel. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be coming back. Thanks!!

I grew up in Atlanta but haven’t been to Helen since my college days which was over 20 years ago. It was a great experience. The Munich Chalet was perfect for my wife and I. It felt brand new and like we were in some Bavarian Ski lodge. The place downstairs is super cool and the location is right in the heart of Helen. The Chalet had everything we needed and is definitely our place to stay for future visits.

This is the coolest little spot in Helen. It's location was perfect for walking the town but being away from the foot and car traffic. Accommodations are simple but tasteful. The little balcony is perfect for having a drink and people watching. Be aware there is no kitchen sink and the festive lights are on all night (and bright) but it that hardly hinders the enjoyment of finding this little hidden gem. We would definitely like to return in the future.

Chalet Munich was the perfect stay for my wife and I! Clean, cozy and convenient! Definitely located within the hot spots of Helen and walkable from the main strip! The smell of fresh popcorn and pretzels was amazing! We had to go down stairs and get a pretzel! Delicious! We can’t wait to return and stay at Chalet Munich!

Our stay was perfect in every way, super clean and very cozy! We loved it, and will definitely book again. We stayed New Years Eve weekend and watched the Edelweiss Flower drop at midnight from our balcony!! Location 👍 we walked everywhere and best part was our favorite restaurant was literally right next door, Bodensee!

This was our second time staying at Chalet Munich and it is legit the best place ever in Helen. Centrally located and waking up every morning to the smell of baking pretzels is the best. Bruce and Christy are both lovely hosts and go all out to make the experience wonderful. I can’t say enough about location either. It’s perfect. Quiet but still close to everything and right next door to one of the best German restaurants in the whole country (that’s not an exaggeration).

The host thought of everything. They even gave us caramel popcorn from their precious shop below and left water in the fridge. The chalet was so tastefully decorated. I love the idea of the closet behind the bed. The chalet was clean and located in close proximity to everything. We had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this darling little studio while visiting Helen, Georgia.

What a gem right there in Helen! The property was immaculate and very welcoming. We loved sitting on the balcony to enjoy the unbelievably beautiful weather and some great people-watching!!! The thoughtful hosts definitely go above and beyond to make sure that guests have all they need. We are already trying to determine when we can visit again! We had a fantastic time at this super cute chalet! Located in the heart of everything that Helen has to offer, we only drove once when we visited Anna Ruby Falls. Played mini golf literally right behind the chalet, had wonderful German cuisine right next door & had the charcuterie board from downstairs which was absolutely delicious! Would definitely stay here again! Loved it! ❤️

Nice property and very nice efficiency apartment. Great location, close to everything. The only drawback about the apartment is there are no curtains on the windows and at night there are lights framing both ends of the roof and the mini blinds do not block out the light well. It made it hard to sleep. At the shop down stairs I was not treated well by one of the employees on one of the times I went in there. The other times they were very nice.

This is our favorite place to stay in Helen so far. I really hope we can get this one from now on. This place was cozy but had plenty of room at the same time. We usually try to stay on the water but I have to say sitting on the balcony over the street was a lot of fun. The furniture and linings were all very clean the location was perfect. Private parking was definitely a plus. No other cars could park even close to us. Any time I do a review I try to include cons. I'm sure there ar plenty of picky people that could find one but I really can't.

My husband and I stayed in Helen for the weekend and this was the perfect location for a couple. Conveniently located, easily walk everywhere in Helen and no noise from others like in a hotel. Since you are the only ones there no one is slamming doors or stomping their feet, it is peaceful and quiet. Love the reclining couch, perfect way to relax after a long day. We would recommend this locto any couple planningto visit Helen.

Great location. Ease of checking in and checking out. Communications were good with owners. Had a great time. The free popcorn was delicious. We ended up buying pretzels because the smells from the business below was irresistible. Mini golf was in the back yard. Easy walk to everywhere. We will be back. Wonderful trip.
