Welcome to our beautifully updated creekside retreat! This spacious home features an open floor plan with a modern, fully furnished kitchen, a large dining room, and a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace. With five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a washer/dryer conveniently located on the main level, our home is perfect for families and large groups seeking a relaxing getaway. Unwind in the family room with a 50" TV, or enjoy some friendly competition in the game room, complete with a foosball table, board games, and outdoor games. The tranquil surroundings make this the ideal escape for those looking to relax or explore the adventures waiting just outside the door.

The sleeping arrangements include a queen bed in the upstairs guest bedroom, a king bed in another upstairs guest bedroom, and a king bed in the upstairs master suite, which also features a full bath and TV. Downstairs, you’ll find two additional guest bedrooms, each with a queen bed. For little ones, we’ve provided a Pack 'n Play for added convenience.

Outdoor living is a highlight of this home. Relax on the large deck or patio with seating for ten and a stainless-steel gas grill. Gather around the fire pit by the creek or enjoy direct access to the Mickelson Trail for hiking and biking. A nearby pond offers fishing opportunities for even more outdoor fun.

Inside, the home boasts a wood-burning fireplace, a TV, an 8-person dining table, and a large kitchen countertop with seating for six. The downstairs bar area with stools adds to the space's charm. The bathrooms include a downstairs bathtub and two stand-up showers upstairs, ensuring comfort for all guests. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless-steel appliances, cooking oil, basic spices, a coffee maker, and all the utensils you’ll need, including barbecue tools. For your comfort, we provide premium 100% cotton sheets and luxurious, thick bath towels. Additional amenities include a washer/dryer, complimentary toiletries, a hair dryer, air conditioning, portable fans, and heating.

Cars are probably the best form of transportation. You can rent side by sides at two businesses in Custer to explore the beautiful Black Hills! Custer also has bicycle rentals available

Reminder: Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours 8am-5pm.

Cancellation policy:
We offer free cancellation or 100% refund amount of payable if you cancel 30 days before check-in date. If canceling, we will charge a 20% processing fee (to cover credit card processing and administrative fees).

Additional rules

1. If any issues arise during your stay, it’s essential to communicate with us promptly. Good communication between the guest and host is critical to ensuring a smooth and successful stay. You should respond to us (the hosts) within 24 hours when we reach out to resolve an issue. In certain situations, we may need to send our case manager to review the situation in person to fully address any concerns.

2. It is a "must" to read the entire listing description and the house rules of our property. If, in this case, you DO NOT read over our listing description or house rules and are not comfortable with something that is clearly stated, we will uphold our cancellation policies.

3. No unregistered guests/visitors unless preapproved

4. Follow state laws when using fire pit

5. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10PM and always be respectful of the neighbors.

6. No parties or events unless previously organized in writing with the host. If there’s evidence of a party or event, there’ll be an additional charge of $200.

7. For noise complaints

7.1 If we receive any noise complaints from neighbors a security guard will be called out to the property at a cost of $85 to guests for the first call out.
7.2. If security is called a second time during your stay, you will be charged a $250 fee and be removed from the premises with no refund of your stay.

8. No smoking anywhere in this house. If we find evidence of smoking anywhere in the house you will be charged $300 for extra cleaning.

Follow all check-out procedures:
1. Take out all trash
2. Wash dishes (or start dishwasher)

Note:

* A $200 extra cleaning fee may be charged if home is left unreasonably dirty and requires more work than usual to clean (for example: mud on the carpet). All damages will also be charged to guest.

* Check out time is scheduled for 10:00 am on the day of departure unless previously agreed with the host. If the guest is more than 90 minutes late checking out guest will be charged $200.

*Any costs incurred by the host as a result of a late check out will be passed on to you.
