Timata Ora is a stunning luxurious 1920 heritage home in Central New Plymouth. Situated in a prime central location a five minute stroll to the CBD for arts, culture, shopping and enjoying the award winning scenic coastal walkway. A quick stroll away from Pukekura Park & the Bowl of Brooklands.
Perched high overlooking the city centre this two-stored landmark villa will capture your heart. Beautifully designed for guest comfort in mind, featuring seven beautifully decorated bedrooms spread across three wings of the home all with comfortable quality beds and luxurious bed linen. Five bedrooms with there own ensuite bathrooms and two bedrooms with a jack and Jill bathroom.
The impressive living area flows out to north facing alfresco dining and features warm timber touches of yesteryear combined with modern relaxed furnishings. The gorgeous glass atrium which is bathed in sun and natural light offers a place to retreat in total tranquility. The owner of this treasured holiday home has filled it with love and little touches and eclectic art adorns the walls, making it a very special place to stay.
Fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs along with relaxed and formal dining. Spend the days out exploring and come together as a family in the evening for a meal. Additional features include unlimited wifi, various tv's throughout the home, disability bathroom and full laundry facilities. Off street parking for two cars.

The property was stunning ( better than the photos) and very centrally located. The rooms beautifully appointed and accommodated 12 people/ 4 families very comfortably. The kitchen well equipped with cutlery, platters, crockery…imp with a large group. Lots of space, great outdoor area to catch the autumn sun. Having a BBQ was great, albeit a small one for a large group. From booking to communication to access/ entry to the calibre of accomodation… spot on. A very minor point… which did not mar our positive experience of the place would be to have a sun umbrella. We would definitely return as it catered for everyone’s needs.

Eight of us, three couples and two singles, spent a week in New Plymouth doing day tramps. Timata Ora was the perfect base. It's a character house, immaculately presented, fully equipped, and its central location meant restaurants and supermarkets were within walking distance. Pak'n'Save is literally two minutes walk away. With five ensuites, there were no morning or evening bottlenecks. All in all it's a fantastic place to stay for a large group.

What an amazing property! This charming villa was perfect for 5 couples away, our own bathrooms (icing on the cake). Comfy beds, very warm and great entertaining areas for our stay in July. Well kept, clean and great communication. 10 min walk into town, museums, cafes and 5 min walk to Pukakura Park. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We had a group of 14 stay at Timata Ora and we couldn't have been more impressed with the bedding configuration, bathrooms, living areas and other facilities. The decor in the place is quirky but in a great way that you see something new everytime you enter a room. We loved it.

This is the second time we have booked this house, it is absolutely perfect for a big family get-together. Each bedroom having a bathroom is such a luxury and the house has been decorated so beautifully, it's just gorgeous. Very clean and comfortable beds, kitchen is incredibly well equipped with everything considered. Would love to stay again, great location, cannot recommend highly enough.

It was a wonderful place where we could experience a mansion in the early 20 century without discounting the modern convenience, and where the beach promenade, Pukekura park, even the grocery and takeaways are near. The staffs are also amazing with fast and thoughtful services.

What a wonderful venue for us all, it provided shared spaces to gather together, individual rooms offering privacy, Timata Ora was aesthetically furnished, warm, welcoming and well resourced for all our needs. The whole house was a comfortable temperature (given it was winterish outside), the rooms were a good size, as were the bathrooms.
