About this bed and breakfast

We are a retired couple sharing our home and providing a private room in a Traditional Bed and Breakfast located above the town of Balingup hosted by Reyer and Julie.
Our home is surrounded by a veranda and has amazing views to the West.
You'll have a relaxing sleep in a King size bed with woollen blankets or doona followed by an amazing continental breakfast, provided by us your hosts, taken either inside or outside on the verandah overlooking the Balingup Hills. There is also a sofa bed in the room that will sleep two.
You have your own en-suite, a bar fridge, air-conditioning, TV/DVD, an electric kettle and a shared lounge and dining room.
Activities and culinary experiences are plentiful in the town and surrounding areas unless you prefer a good book, a TV channel or a video.
ARE YOU A KEEN MOUNTAIN BIKER? We're not far from Tank7 where there are 4 levels of difficulty to excite you. Come and stay with us, have a scrumptious breakfast, a hot shower and good conversation following your MTB rides.
We can suggest places to have lunch and dinner.

The views, breakfast, size of rooms and cleanliness were first class. There are no places to buy evening meals in this town. It’s best to come prepared for that scenario.

I still cant believe Ray picked me up from the function I was at. Wonderful man! Lovely property, bed was sooo comfortable, best sleep I've had in a while. The owners are lovely to talk to. Great breakfast with lots of home made goodies. Loved it.

I felt very welcomed when i got here. Hosts were very friendly and caring. The house was beautiful, the room was very clean and cosy. 😁 My 5years old daughter had better sleep here than own home. There is a big farm with sheeps and kids can have chance to feed the baby sheeps if they are good😜 Kangaroos visits the back yard. There are many fruit trees. The breakfast were really nice. Personally, homemade preservatives were the highlight! Very generous, tasty and healthy. Thank you. I gave 4stars for neighbourhood because it is a small town and all the businesses closed very early. I had to do my own bbq and take away from Busselton for dinners.

It was such a lovely experience for both me and my daughter who wanted to gateway from all the busyness. It was just the place. As soon as we stepped out of the car, for a moment I was amazed by the beauty and the quietness of the surrounding. We could only hear the birds and the wind. We watched the sunset in the hills with steaming cuppas in our hands. We were well fed by the hosts. Raye and Julie are such a lovely couple. They provided us with everything to make the stay comfortable for us. My daughter who is seven still talks about the stay at the Oakfield Cottage. Our room was nicely decorated. The homemade jams, muesli and fruit preserves were amazing. The restaurant at the bottom of the hill was just fantastic. In fact locals are so kind and generous. Thank you for the relaxing stay. Never missed our home. Will definitely visit again.

I was really pleasantly surprised. What an absolute gem to find. I was not a fan of B&Bs and this stay has changed me. The room was stunning with everything we needed and the hosts were so welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic with a stunning view and great company. I will be returning and telling all my friends about Oakfield b&b . Highly recommended.

We had such a lovely stay, the hosts are amazing and make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. The room is well appointed with all the little thoughtful additions to keep you comfortable and warm. Breakfast is amazing too, with a generous selection of delicious foods, almost all of it home-made and we loved the long brekky conversation. The property is beautiful and overlooks Balingup town. Overall we were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our little weekend stay, just what we needed. Thanks Ray and Julie!

Thank You Ray & Julie for your hospitality. The rooms where very clean and ever so comfortable. Everything you would need for a comfortable stay is there. Breakfast was delicious and going the extra mile for my husbands birthday was so appreciated. Loved the wood fire in the house. Amazing views and a pretty town. Lovely pubs in the area and horse riding as well. Will definitely back. My family has create another happy memory thanks to these relaxing few days. Thanks again to Oakford B&B for the most relaxing stay.
