This place was perfect for our family and wedding party to all stay together. There was plenty of room, everyone was comfortable, and the scenery was fabulous!

We had a lovely stay here. The home has plenty of space, a large kitchen, and exactly as pictured. It is very close to local breweries and wineries - we had a great time visiting Bluemont Station Brewery and Winery, around 10 minutes away. Lots of cups, glasses etc for a large group. I especially appreciated the second fridge.

Everything was what we hoped for. Very nice place. Only negative was the lack of weeding. Thank you!

The house is spacious and well appointed. We were a family of 12 and we appreciated the double kitchen islands, the double refrigerators and the double dishwashers. The pantry was well stocked with spices, staples like plastic cutlery and cups and small appliances, like pressure cooker, air fryer and rice cooker (all of which we used). There were thoughtful touches like a generous supply of beach towels, hospitality toiletries, and a welcome bottle of wine.On the outside, the porch ran the length of the house with an amazing view of the rolling Virginia hills. It was a favorite location for morning coffee, morning stretches, lazy afternoon conversations and sunset cocktails. The kids enjoyed the pool, with music provided by the bluetooth speaker, the badminton set and the pool table. For activities, we walked to the Oak Hart Farm market, hiked at Bear Chase trail, and visited Harpers Ferry. We enjoyed walks around the well maintained property. We walked around the cute town of Berryville and particularly enjoyed the Cordial Coffee Shop.Overall, an amazing vacation at an amazing location!

I rented out this house for my 40th recently. We had a group of 20 friends and family and it was quite difficult finding a place in this area that could accommodate my whole group. This house was perfect. Every family/couple had a bedroom and the house was great for both adults and kids. The kids loved running around the expansive outdoor area and playing on the playground. The house itself is massive with two large common areas for large groups to hang out in. There are plenty of bathrooms and the house was clean and decorated very nicely. There were little touches as well with a welcome basket and lots of games and household items stocked. The owners sent me a text with instructions to get into the house and how to get a hold of them but otherwise were hands off and let our group enjoy our time at the house. The house comes with plenty to do, but is also very close to Bear's Den and Bear Chase and several other hiking trails and breweries/wineries for anyone looking to get out. I would recommend this house to anyone with a large group looking to get away but not looking to go too far from DC.

This was a perfect venue for a surprise birthday party/reunion. There was plenty of space to mingle; all the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable; the kitchen was well equipped, and there were generous extras like s'mores fixings in the kitchen and spare toiletries in the bathrooms. The setting and view are gorgeous, and rather than take advantage of all the great things to do in the area, we just hung out on the porch and in the pool, and enjoyed the place. Everyone in our group, from the 11-year-old to the 80-year-old, was delighted with it.

Overall, the property is nice but could be better at this price point. We experienced a few issues during our stay. 1. We couldn't get the lock box to unlock which had the key to the house. 2. The toilet on the ground floor was not flushing properly. 3. The water pressure throughout most of the bathrooms was sub-bar and a huge annoyance. 4. Pool table in the basement was broken, no other form of entertainment is available. Basement also is outdated and does not match the rest of the house. 5. Seating in the living room is very limited for this size of an house. 6. The kitchen island has 2 hugh islands, but only 2 bar stools.
