We stayed here 2 years ago and it was much cleaner than it is now. Our room had a horrible smell in it and wasn't the cleanest.

Check in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly. Our room was spacious and clean and had a very nice view. We love the closeness to town and Lake Huron along with a pleasant walk to the Mackinac Bridge. We always look forward to staying at Crown Choice Inn & Suites. Thank you for having an awesome staff!

I checked all the boxes on your site but received none of them. You try getting a 96 year old woman in that bathroom or on that toilet.

It was a nice stay. The room could use some updates, but was clean and quite comfortable. The front desk person was exceptionally friendly! Will stay here again next year, it's much better than other properties in Mackinaw City, and quite reasonably priced for the accommodations.

Hotel was decent but definitely needs some TLC. Sauna did not work. Spa smelled pretty bad and was not working one of the days. Pool was not kept up. Friendly staff.

Nail strip exposed going into bathroom, electrical cover off outlet on hall, light cover in stairwell off exposing wiring, none of the exterior doors were locked. Mold looking substances on windows in pool area.

The staff was wonderful! Room was great however it did need some maintenance on doors that wouldn’t shut and carpet cleaning. The website said it had continental breakfast and slot machines which neither were found and no information was given by staff or anything in the room. We were traveling with 3 children under 4 and the breakfast would have been much better than having to take them out to eat. I’m glad I wasn’t paying the weekend rates.

Room door barely closed, could not lock properly. Bathroom door scrapped against the floor, 4th floor windows did not latch together, very noisy, room smelled of chlorine since it was above the water playpark. No breakfast service and no room service the 4 days i was there.

We stayed in a Lakeview room, which was clean, thanks to the housekeeper. The The waterpark and the pool were good, and they are fun for little kids, but they may have to make some safety improvements. For the dollar value, I would say it is worth it.

Spent a whole week here for my vacation with my husband and two kiddos, we didn’t have a single issue. Room was super clean, staff was friendly. i enjoyed my stay and we’ll definitely be back.

The front desk person when we checked in was no accommodating, we got there @ 4:30 & our room wasn’t ready she told us to come back at five. We came back at 5:30 still wasn’t done. We had a couple of very little kids that needed to rest. My daughter talked with her finally she got in around 6 but she said we’d have to move rooms the next day. I asked to talk to a manager later on because we had several little kids moving would be a pain. The manager the next day said we could stay in that room. I was pleased with that.! 👍 Other than that, the property was nice. We had a good time.

My family stayed at the Crown Choice for 2 days for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was a first time for our children now young adults to Visit Mackinaw Island, It overall was a good investment, while it does need some up dating it was clean and the staff offset the small inconveniences by leaps and bounds-Extremely Friendly and very curious, they displayed openly they truly cared that you enjoyed your visit. I “Will” visit again and I will stay at the Crown Choice our next time and probably many times in the future, there is no such thing as perfection when staying away from home, personally being a business owner I can say it offered everything we needed, Thanks to the Staff of the Crown Choice. We were in a suite and needed the pull out sofa, they didn’t have any pillows at all to offer us. The towels smelled bad, there was mold on the floor of the “waterpark”, and the ice machine was out of order.

The hotel rooms and staff were good. However, there was a large hole in the center of the parking lot with, what looked like, a large broken metal sewer pipe in it. This area flooded during the rainstorm and the hole flooded and was not visible to cars using the lot. The hotel could have at least put up some cones to warn people.

This building is VERY run down. The drapes were falling off the valances. The windows were grossly dirty. There was garbage in the hallway outside the room next to ours for our entire stay. Absolutely no security. Doors were propped open.

1. Rooms were not clean 2. Receptionist was not able to communicate clearly ( Most people work here are from Jamica) 3. My son found cigarrets in the room 4. Toilet seat was broken 5. Cupbord glass door was broken 6. chair cusioins were torn 8. They showed me two rooms to choose and both were not cleaned. So I gusess all rooms are bad. 9. No garbadge bin in the room, only in toilet 10. I ask multiple time to give us coffee cups and coffee everyday. They told me to pick from front desk. It was long walk from room to front desk. 10. The maintanance guy was showing me the rooms and I ask him to wait unitil I make a decision. He just left and not even said me anything. I have never seen him again for the next 3 days.

This hotel facility is very dirty. There is no deluxe gym or breakfast area. There is nothing deluxe. The water park was filthy and had green algae all over. The property was dusty. Do not stay here.

Do not waste your time here…the rooms are filthy…the carpet is so dirty it was sticky there were bugs on the walls the doors were broken and had no locks to keep the door closed. We had a disabled child with us and he could have easily fallen off the balcony as the sliding door wouldn’t stay closed. The front desk was rude the WHOLE place smelled like mold and there was no smoking anywhere but you could sure smoke marajuana everywhere. It was NOT on the lake beach and when other guests tell you to not pay and just leave and go find a cleaner place it’s not a good sign. It is an old decrepit dump.

Check in was great. The room was better than what we booked. However, in the main entry of the room, there was something red splattered on the wall. In the bathroom, there was dog food behind the door, a blue powder substance on the floor by the sink along with a dirty Q-tip. The bedroom area was great. The entry door to get into the hotel were left open till at least 10pm. Thats when we returned to our room. When leaving the following morning, we spotted at bat in the hallway

Worst experience I’ve ever had. They gave me a key to a room that was occupied and didn’t have any remorse and wouldn’t refund my money. Travelers beware I will never send my worse enemy to this hotel.

Our bedroom tv did not work at all and the family room tv barely worked. Coffee pot needs attention, it did not brew the coffee right.

Spacious and comfortable. Could use updating, such as new carriers and cabinet doors in kitchenette, but overall clean and comfortable. Great amenities like pool, water park, and beach access. Staff are incredible-friendly and helpful to make sure our stay was amazing.

Very outdated and need of upgrade. No breakfast available. The workout room needs additional equipment. It could also use a bike rack. Staff was very friendly.
