Hotel overall is nice just a bad location to get around. We were suppose to get cleaning service every other day but had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. We emptied out our own trash since the room didn’t get cleaned. Breakfast has horrible. Food wasn’t done. Out of everything (no sugar, pop, juices, etc). Also had to pay for parking???

Rooms were clean and breakfast was as expected. Stayed 4 nights, Hot tub jets were broken during entire stay. Door to the pool was also broken so you had to have staff let you in.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. And the location was good - we came to visit Salem but hotels in Salem were very expensive - this was about 15 minutes outside of Salem. The property was clean but dated - could use an update. The front desk did recommend an nearby restaurant that was excellent.

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We spent the night to visit Salem and they let us know the best way to get there. Our kids really enjoyed the pool and BYO Breakfast bar! Room was spacious enough for the 5 of us, clean and cozy.

Check in they told us the wrong room number. Carried all of our bags to the room, couldn’t get in. Had to go back down, was told she wrote down the wrong room number. Not that serious, just annoying. Shower was dirty. Hair and mold in the shower. Trundle bed mattress had blood stain on it.

Bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke and really smelled when fan was running. Toilet handle didn’t work properly. Had to take cover off toilet tank and jiggle float to make the water fill the tank to flush. Whirlpool wasn’t working. Breakfast was good.

Front desk service and maintenance service was excellent. In our room, sink was clogged and the A/C would not turn on but maintenance was quick to response. Bathroom has hair on the floor and rust Built up.

The location was off a highway, so a bit noisy; Entrance to parking lot off highway was dark--drove right by it first time; the pool was very small for such a large hotel and smelled strongly of chlorine (my eyes burned just from walking in the room). But the room was spacious and fine. A bit expensive--almost $300, but overall okay. Probably wouldn't stay there again, but fine overall.

Overall it was just okay. The sheet had stains in there and I asked to switch them out and they never did. They did apologize and gave me new sheets but I will have to do it myself.

We were able to get an early check in, which was super helpful after a 5-hr drive. The general manager checked me in and was super friendly, saw him again at breakfast the next morning and saw him greeting guests and smiling as he carried boxes down the hall. We were only there a few hours because we were attending a family event so we basically dropped our bags and left. Everything was great with the stay except for the breakfast, it was actually pretty bad. There was no bacon, pancakes, waffles. The hasbrowns seemed uncooked and tasted bad. My father said the sausage was not cooked well either. I believe it was the housekeeping manager who we bumped into in the elevator, she didn't greet us or smile, stared at her clipboard the whole ride. She ended up checking us out the next morning (guess they have multiple roles) and did not even ask how our stay was or anything, again did not smile. Just all around not friendly. The pull out sofa mattress was a little dirty not sure if it was from the wooden slats. Other than the breakfast and one employee, everything was ok.

I would like to give kudos to Kathleen, she works the breakfast bar. The first morning we came down for breakfast the area was swamped. However, Kathleen greeted guests with a smile and a friendly hello. Kathleen responded to all requests with a positive and helpful attitude while trying to keep everything well stocked for guests. Good job, Kathleen!

Service was prompt and friendly. Beds comfy. Lobby had overwhelming smell of chlorine immediately upon entering. Rooms had a musty smell and people had clearly smoked in the room. Normally I would have requested a room change, but we were just there for the night so we didn't bother. Grounds were unattractive. Room decor was drab. Ok for a place to sleep, but overpriced in my opinion.

The room was just oddly set up. I could touch the air conditioner from the bed. So while the air conditioner was on I froze but I would sweat when it was off.
