The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and was exactly what I was looking for. The place was in the heart of hershey and many things were close by within walking distance.

Horrible experience. Felt unsafe leaving my room to its insecure locks and fully cracked and accessible ground floor front window. I nicked my finger on the crack trying to lock the window. I went to the office and no one was there other than a basket to leave keys. I needed a bandaide and just felt helpless walking into the office, asking if anyone was there, and left. I did not sleep, I had a severe anxiety attack. I decided to leave at 4:30am when I was beyond upset that I didn’t feel safe. On top of that, I totally understand maid service may be fast and miss some things. But I could rub and scratch dirt off the tub when shower. The power went off twice in the night. I know this because I felt too uncomfortable at Simmon’s to sleep. There’s no security in the evening. I was getting ready for a show and I used my travel dish soap and Mr. Clean sponge to clean the sink and above shelf to get ready. It was too gross to clean. I got ready on the dresser when the toilet started acting up every other flush I was positive it would over flow and I was honestly disturbed by the bathroom. I commonly stay at hotels and have never once wrote al review. But feeling unsafe, then going to the room with the desk and realize there is no one working or security or any way for me to express my deep concerns. Never again. I cried for hours. LET’S TOP THIS. I NEVER RECEIVED MY DEPOSIT BACK!

Room was small but clean. Beth was efficent and courteous. Friendly too. No counter or shelf in bathroom for toiletries. Great space if you just need a place to sleep. Not good for extended stays due to space limitations and lack of table top.

The room looked like it was last refurbished in the 1970's. Not very clean, although the sheets were ok. Bathroom had broken tiles on the floor, and shower was very small and grimy. Would recommend you dont stay at this hotel.

Dirtiest, worst place ive ever seen. Disgusting. Bugs on floor, dust and dirt everywhere, bed looked like it got ran over by a semi truck it was so blown out. Total trap hotel. Checked out within an hour of getting there. Wont issue a refund either! STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE PLACE!

The hotel is quaint not updated but very clean. The location is great as there are restaurants, breweries, shops and a distillery in walking distance. We had read that there was housekeeping service each day but they did not clean the room the day we stayed and we had to turn in our towels to get two new towels. But it was a good value.

I had the "do not disturb" door sign hanging and they trird to enter anyhow Then they said i left my key downstairs when clearly i was in my room with.my key that openrd the door. Kinda shady dont you think?!?!

Overall, the stay was fine, but don't have high expectations. It's an older property. It feels homey, but I wouldn't recommend long stays. The bed was hard and the bathroom pretty small. Our washcloths and hand towels were stacked on the back of the toilet, which I find unsanitary. It took over 45 minutes to check in because only one person was checking people in, and she walked each set of people to their rooms. There is no breakfast option. It would be difficult for a family to stay there with the small space, even in a double bed room. While the people were friendly, I probably won't stay there again.

Cute cottage style hotel, in a great location. Hershey is just a charming town & this Simmons Motel is a perfect representation of that feel. The owner was fantastic and so kind. She even let us check in early, as we were exhausted from a red eye flight from Oregon & long drive from Pittsburgh. Highly recommend!

I was very disappointed in this stay. From hair in the end and in the bathroom , too the nasty smell of the carpets , no closet or a place to put luggage , Luke warm water … and I could go on. Not worth it at all.

You pay for what you get. This is an older property and I loved that you got an actual key for your room. The staff was excellent but there was some issues. First and foremost, the A/C unit has not been cleaned for a long time and there was black residue visible when looking in the vent. On two seperate occasions, not in peak time, the hot water in the shower was not quite up to snuff. Also, there was no hair dryer in the room. Once again I look to the price I paid, and it is certainly a bargain given the proximity to Hershey park and restaurants. I would stay there again, but would check the AC unit before I stayed in a particular room.

Simmons Motel was wonderful! It had a lot of charm! My only complaint was the water never got hot for a shower and the AC wasn’t the coldest but it was a super hot night so understandable. I would def stay again. Easily walkable to have dinner or a drink. The staff was super friendly!

The ladies at the front desk when we checked in were so nice and helpful. This motel offers rooms and small apartments. We stayed in an apartment which fit 5 of us comfortably. It also had a full sized kitchen and fridge which I wasn't expecting. It was clean and had fresh towels in the bathroom. Perfect for an overnight to see a concert in Hershey. I would recommend staying here if going to the park since it's within walking distance!

The small pool was clean and only us there at the pool. Room was average. To use the microwave we needed to temporarily unplug the refrigerator and then plug the microwave in because there wasn’t a receptacle for it. The area was nice and quiet enough for us. TV provider was Vizeo so if your preferred channel wasn’t on it then you’d be out of luck and in conclusion they charge for Wi-Fi about $2.50 a day.

I came to Hershey with my son overnight and wanted something a little less pricy. I have to say I was impressed overall with Simmons Motel. Super clean rooms and comfortable beds. Staff was super friendly as well and I felt welcomed there. Great bang for you buck. Is 100% stay there again.

I’m sooo happy we chose to stay here it’s truly in the heart of Hershey it’s family owed and operated The owner is so nice and just so happy and positive it was nice after a long drive to be greeted like that. The pool is clean and big our room we got the 2bedroom apartment totally worth it gave my daughter her own room and the other bed is in the living room comfy clean and it was so nice porch sitting in the am , the apartment has its own porch and back door I was definitely impressed. I’ve never been to Hershey and I’ll most definitely stay here again I can’t wait to bring my friends.. Just book it already Great price Great stay ☺️

It was the cutest little motel! So close to Hershey Park you can see the amusement park rides. The gal at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. It's not a four star, but if you're like me and just need a clean bed and bathroom, this is just the place!! Will definitely book again when I'm in the area. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

HORRIBLE, STAY AWAY! 1st- they leave your policy to be signed and room key with your name and other traveling information out in the opened for customers to pick up at any time- so anyone is able to see who you are and what room you’ll be in. 2) they gave me vague instructions on how to proceed with getting the proper paperwork and hotel room key. 3) DISGUSTING! They used so much bleach in the so much bleach in the room that it made me wonder what the hell happened in there before me. The front desk Roliz “manager” gave very vague instructions on how to get my room, turns out I was in the wrong room. They woke me and my 6yr old son up at 1130pm to move because someone else’s room didn’t have a working fridge. At that point, that’s when they realized I was in the wrong room. They had no idea I was in there in the first place! If I didn’t need to sleep, I would have never stayed there!! Grimy. Unsavory, and poor management. Save yourself the headache and sanitizer.
