In the wake of Tropical Storm Helene, Lake Lure continues to recover with remarkable progress each day. The main road around the lake is clear, most restaurants and shops have reopened, and grocery stores are fully operational. You may notice ongoing debris removal from the lake and nearby areas, which makes the lake itself unavailable for the time being. The town of Chimney Rock is still in full recovery mode with limited access. With this, we're ready to welcome you, and local businesses are excited to see you!

If you are looking for a place to experience lake life at it's best, look no further! Lake Al'lure is the perfect lake house with amazing views of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock! Located on the main channel and just 10 minutes to restaurants, groceries, Lake Lure Beach, and the village of Chimney Rock, you will never want to leave.

Get ready to be entranced as you enter, with the cathedral ceilings in the great room and tons of windows so that you can enjoy the mountain lake view from everywhere. There is plenty of space to gather, whether you're curled up on the sofa or cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, you will be creating memories that will last a lifetime. Enjoy the view and a meal together in the dining area that is conveniently just steps away from the kitchen. The lower-level family room features a stacked stone wall with a wood stove and comfortable furnishings. The 4 guest rooms will provide space and privacy for up to 10-12 guests.

While the inside is equipped with modern amenities including smart tv's, cable, wifi, you'll have a tough time pulling yourself away from the abundance of outdoor spaces, including 2 large deck spaces to gather. The upper & lower decks are built around a mature oak that provides shade from summer sun yet allows open views year-round.

Take a walk down to the boathouse, where there is direct access into the lake and you will spend hours enjoying the views from spacious sunning deck. Step inside where you will have access to kayak's and paddles boards. One of the most unique details of this lake house is the additional full bath right in the boathouse, as well as an extra refrigerator and game room with a ping pong table!

Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party. We traveled as 4 adults and 2 dogs. The home was spacious and lovely. The decks were private under the canopy of trees on the property. The walkway to the boathouse was easy to maneuver. Every toy imaginable for our use in the boathouse. The kitchen is a gathering place for us. It was stocked with anything and everything we needed plus some. The big dining room table was perfect for playing games at night. Thank you for a great place to stay on our vacation!

We took a shot not knowing much about Lake Lure and we all loved it. The area is beautiful and the house was just perfect. My family really loved the boat house with ping pong. It was very quiet the week we were there. It was so convenient to get to town and also enjoy hiking in the area. We are considering returning next year. The house had everything my family needed and was very clean and comfortable. 5 star for me and my family.

My oldest son and his daughter were visiting from California, and we decided to take a long weekend at Lake Lure with them. Having discovered this listing, we feel we should have stayed longer. What a lovely home! And so many amenities lakeside! The entire property is a dream, the stairs down to the dock make you feel like you are in your own world, there's greenery everywhere, and there is a lot of privacy from the neighbors. Gorgeous views from all the terraces, and several common areas where the kids can be loud and away from adults wishing more quiet intimate conversations. Will definitely visit again.

We had a great time and have already booked a return trip. The owner should be aware of a few things. 1. Master bedroom sliding door does not close properly. 2. Upstairs living room had only one lamp and it was faulty. 3. Spider web in vaulted ceiling full of gnats. 4. We kept the AC at the recommended temperature but the upstairs bedroom was hot at night. A couple of fans would be great. Again the place is great and we look forward to our return. Thanks!

Loved the house and location. 3 of the 4 bedrooms were used and everybody slept well. Upper deck has the most comfortable outside chairs and the view was great. Thought the 3rd bathroom was in the house but it was in the houseboat (we used this shower as the downstairs shower [2nd floor] did not have much in the way of water pressure). Not far to the dock, hand rail was partly rope but did not cause too much of an issue for the oldest in the party (last 4 or 5 steps to the dock no rail at all). Used both kayaks and the other floats available. We plan on coming back to this place.
