Ischia is lovely but this didn’t meet our expectations

The staff are very nice and helpful

It’s very old fashioned. Sunbeds around the pool are very crammed. Everything is old and tired. The beach in front of the hotel is not very nice

Over priced

Location on beach was great

Rooms are very small. No A/C in main areas. For our anniversary we were told that we would get front rooms over beach but got ocean view rooms set back from beach. Hotel is good but not great.

Clean and simple, but not a four star...

Location

This used to be a four star hotel I think but now it's somewhere in between a three and four star. Facilities are adequate but not what I would expect for a four star hotel. Simple, small bathroom, comfortable beds, clean. Breakfast was very poor - little choice and poor quality food for a four star.

Loved our time on Ischia,on a lovely beach and lots of places to shop or hike to. Could of used a fan or something tokee

Loved our stay at Hotel Ambasciatori, staff were great, wonderful location and an amazing view from the room.

Front reception was wonderful, extremely helpful and welcoming. The room had an amazing view and was clean.

The room was a bit dated.

I recommend this place! Wonderful crew, location and close to the beach.

All the staff wonderful. Everyone treated me with great kindness. On the first day they told us what to see and how to get there. Even the smallest problem was approached with great commitment. The whole reception and the owner of the hotel have created a wonderful atmosphere, so I know that I will definitely return to this place. Wonderful crew! As for the hotel - very nice and well maintained. You can feel at home in it. The location is wonderful. On the one hand very close a beautiful beach, and on the other a lively street. I recommend to also try the food at the restaurant at the hotel. I was positively surprised. The croissant's served for breakfast are insane! The best ones I've ever eaten.

Exceptional

The room was big, bright, quiet and confortable with a nice decoration. The bathroom was huge too. Breakfast was gorgeous. A friendly young lady served us fresh fruit salad, home-made jams and all sorts of viennoiseries in the garden. That was great !

Nothing to do with the hotel but it rained the all stay.

Perfect location for a relaxing family holiday

Great location, just next to the beach. Plenty of nice restaurant tables and store’s nearby. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be there again :)

Superb

Great location, outside swimming pool, indoor swimming pool and an access to the beach. The staff was amazing, especially Felipe who went above and beyond to help us. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Wonderful location overlooking beach. Easy walk from ferry. Very close to shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay, thank you very much

Nice but NEEDS updates badly

The property is located beautifully and the employees were friendly.

The property is really in need of work. Many broken loungers around the pool, chipped/ stained furniture in lobby. I have never complained about a bed in all my years of travel but this was absolutely horrid with a pillow about 2-3cm thick.

Our stay at the hotel was the best hotel experience I have had

Phillipo was amazing he made reservations for us he helped with anything that we needed no matter time of day or inconvenience. Everyone person employee or not was amazingly helpful and friendly it was a great environment for our children (4and6) and ourselves. The restaurant had amazing food they were very patient and kind… one server even cut my food for me when I was unsure how to eat it… it really was a great experience they handled everything for us made out trip very easy and fun.

I honestly don’t think the hotel could have done anything better it was perfect.

Great location but poor facilities

The hotel was very well located just next to the beach and a short way away from the center

The hotel was really old and not up to date. The breakfast was horrible - a couple of biscuits and pastries in real bad shape, not worth it at all. The internet connexion was simply non existant although they said it was good, and never ever stay in room 107 : it is at the crosssection of the bar, lobby, pool and public toilets and there’s virtually no isolation !

Very good

The hotel was on a very good location, good access to the beach & 500 yards from the town centre. The staff were very polite, friendly & helpful. Filippo was exceptional, very helpful arranging our taxi & hydrofoil transfers from Naples airport to Ischia & the return. He even let us have our room until 3.45pm when normal check out is 10am plus a free lunch the day we left.

A lovely relaxing stay at this beachfront location

Great location on the beach so perfect for sea or pool swimming. Filippo on reception went out of his way to organise tickets for Negombo, car hire and hydrofoil. Such excellent service! A great stay.

Breakfast a bit bland and not of a great standard although the staff were very helpful.

We recommend staying here

It was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, lunch was very tasty and good value for the money, direct access to the beach was very convenient , also location is great, easy to walk from and the port, it is surrounded with plenty of good places to eat and shop if you want to. We enjoyed staying at Hotel Ambasciatori

Breakfast can be improved with more salty options, some facilities can be renewed, shower cabinet was not closing properly, the lock of the door was not working properly.
