Garden Cottage 14 WALK TO BEACH Styled in keeping with the charm and natural ambiance of Jekyll Island, this 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom cottage is the epitome of Coastal living. You enter this home through the kitchen, which is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, both a standard and a Keurig Coffee Machine, a toaster oven, blender, mixer, electric wine opener, and all baking equipment, and an oversized bar top perfect for quick meals.
The dining area consists of a bar top for 4 and a dining room table for 6. The enclosed downstairs porch also has a full-sized dining table that seats 6. Outside, enjoy additional seating around the fire pit. The large fenced-in patio includes seating for 12. Bring your friends and family and meet together at this great place! The spacious living area, which boasts a fireplace, leads out to the screened-in porch. Off of the porch is a fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows. This cottage features a master suite on the main level, with an oversized shower and walk-in linen closet. At the base of the stairs, you will find the half bath, along with the laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer. On the second floor, you will find 2 additional bedrooms and 2 additional bathrooms. Each of these rooms has access to the furnished balcony, perfect for watching the sunrise. This Cottage is equipped with 6 beach chairs, an umbrella, cart, tent, beach toys and 2 adult bikes, and one medium size child's bike. Everything you need for fun in the sun! Access to The Cottages Million Dollar Clubhouse with a swimming pool, billiard and fitness room, beach deck, and beach access are included with your stay. This Cottage is minutes away from 3 golf courses, Driftwood Beach, ocean-side biking trails, paddle boarding and kayaking, putt-putt golf, golf cart rentals, the Turtle Center, and Emerald Princess Casino Cruise. Plus it is only a five-minute walk and 300 feet from the beach! 2 Parking Spaces - No trailers of any kind allowed. This home has the "Heron" floorplan and accommodates 6. Linens included. The tv cable/internet didn’t work and management/owner was nice to work with us or relocate to another property. We really enjoyed the layout of the cottage and all the comforts that came with it. Beautifully decorated! It was like home away from home. The cottage is close to the beach and a short drive to shopping and restaurants.

My family and I stayed in Phase 1 of the development and specifically chose a cottage based on beach access. There is an access point to the sand, but the area is not swimmable due to a retaining wall of large rocks. If you’re looking for walkable access to come on and off the beach during the day, this is not the location for you. We were disappointed that we had to drive to another beach access point. On a positive note, the cottage is beautiful and has everything you could need for your stay.

Beautiful property. A little disappointed that the beach access was not really there. After 2 each day the ocean was to the steps so we had to drive to public beach. Oven vent is weak and set of fire alarm when searing fish. It took 30 minutes to get properly manager to find a solution to stop the alarm. That being said I would recommend the property.

We were pretty bummed to find out the fire pit was not actually able to be used.
And I hope they find a solution to the shower curtain falling down in the bathroom - that could have been dangerous.

The place was gorgeous. It has everything you need. We loved all the outdoor space. We was disappointed the fire pit didn’t work…that was one of the reasons we booked. We were looking forward to the fire & s’mores. The beach that you can walk to isn’t a beach to lay on or swim in. Jekyll Island is a beautiful place with lots of history. A great place to relax.

This was a great place for our family of 4 to stay. The kitchen is well equipped which allowed for us to cook many of our meals at home. The unit also is also stocked with beach chairs, wagon, bikes, toys, floats, cooler which makes a day at the beach even easier. We loved the location, just steps away from the beach, but very quiet and peaceful. The boys also enjoyed the community pool. Already planning our return trip!

Enjoyed our stay. Everything went smoothly. We enjoyed all the amenities associated with the cottage. The fire pit, recreation room, fitness room and pool were great. My girls loved that every bedroom had its own TV, bathroom, and balcony. I loved being so close to the water and not far from any of the island’s attractions.

Jekyll Island is a hidden gem! This was a great trip for our family with 3 teens. The area is great for people looking to spend time at the beach, pool, biking, golfing, tennis and other activities. We also rented a golf cart. The property looks just like the photos. It was very clean, comfortable and well-furnished. The home is just steps from the beach and pool in a high-end development. We did not want to leave!

We loved staying at this property. Rarely is a property as good as it looks online- this place was even better! Lots of space, lots of seating and well thought out floor plan with very nicely appointed furnishings. The kitchen had everything we needed and the supply of beach towels, bikes, beach chairs and toys made traveling in from out of state a breeze! This is a quiet friendly neighborhood setting, with very nice clubhouse /pool and private beach access. The fire pit and screened in porch and gas grill were a plus as well! In my opinion- this place has it all! Thanks for a lovely stay!

My wife and I felt right at home. My wife had never been to the Jeckle Island area so we spent our time just driving around enjoying the area. We stayed away from people because of the Virus. We cooked all of our meals in the cottage. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. This is a very comfortable home. We enjoyed our stay. Every thing in the cottage is first class. We will ne back.

The property was clean, very spacious, and well equipped. We were very comfortable with the exception of one mattress needing replacement, and low water pressure in the showers. The master bath had a fabulous huge shower, but a very disappointing shower head with low pressure. Parking is very limited and your neighbors are right up on you when you are on the back porch or in the small court yard around the fire pit. This property is ideal for quiet family gatherings. I had issues with the property management company not answering calls, returning calls, or answering emails promptly. There was also an error with regards to pricing that I had to request changes on.

Amazing outdoor space which allowed us to have a Thanksgiving dinner with family while being spread out and in the open air. Other family members rented other units in the some complex (on the waterfront) but didn't have nearly the outdoor space we had. The firepit was a huge hit and easy to use. Wonderful stay. Thank you - it meant the world to us to see some family but feel safe about being outside.
