Amazing view!

Beautiful old house/apartment in the Sassi area of Matera. Simona who checked us in was extremely nice and helpful. The apartment has an amazing view from the terrance and balcony also!

All and all… loved it!!!! Wonderful, beautiful town… highlight of our visit.

Breakfast was nice. Donna Lina (Angelia) and Frederico were lovely and helpful.

We were given phone numbers to call for taxi and for meeting place. Neither of our phones had service or internet… we would have been stranded at bus drop off if a nice lady had not offered to share her cab. Then we had to find a local with phone service to call regarding meeting us at town square to take us to B and B Would suggest you order cab and send location of meet up for foreign visitors.

Superb

Location, staff and information all top notch.

Of the three rooms we had the one at the top. The only issue was that the shower was small and the ceiling was low when entering the bedroom. However, I would definitely go there again!

Pleasant

Simona the host was amazing. Great communication before our arrival and very kind in showing us the bnb and all opportunities that Matera offers, good tips for restaurants and attractions. The location is great and very accessible, just few steps into the Sasso Barisano with a lovely terrace.

The furniture of the room and the common areas need a refresh, beds are not as comfortable as the price you pay for. Breakfast is not served in the bnb (which is a shame because the terrace would be the best spot in town for that) and they send you to the pizzeria where they provide a very poor meal.

Precious place in a precious town. Beautiful in every way.

The palce itself is very beautiful and cool. Very liveable. The terrace is wonderful and large, with a truly breathtaking view. The position of the room is also perfect within Matera, we couldn't have hoped of anything better. The welcoming from Simona was very much appreciated, gave us a nice initial tour, and provided us with many precious tips for our stay. The breakfast too was good, and offered in a wonderful high terrace in the main square by very sweet people.

Exceptional

Donna Lina is situated in the core of a quaint town. It has the Matera charecteristics. It is very clean and Simona, a staff member gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful.
