Pleasant

I was thinking to find out but can't reply what I like this accommodation.

I can't see any facilities for us who stayed 3 persons with small room size and not comfort.

It was basic but suited us fine.

We were only passing through to get to Mount Fuji, so it was perfectly situated 5 minute walk from the station and the bus stop.

Superb

Room was comfortable and clean adequate size with a comfortable bed. Hotel was very close to the train station with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Public bath was a bonus.

Didn't like the step up and down to the bathroom.Hard on the old knees.

nice hotel. great location. small room and hard bedding.

location was great, right down the road from the train station. good walking distance to some of the shopping areas.

the bed was small and the bed pillows where VERY hard. the room was small with one side of the bed against the wall.

Comfortable, friendly, exceeded expectations.

Excellent business style hotel. Spacious rooms, very clean with lovely staff. Exceeded our expectations for small hotels in Japan.

It was really close to the station, and was also close to convenience stores, the coin laundry and restaurants.

as a way-stop connection it was "good enough"

compared to the neighborhood, the hotel was "really good", but the neighborhood was, "like anywhere else in Japan". The hotel remodeling "works" and was a bit better than expected. We would stay there again and recommend it to others, the older blog comments were unwarranted. The proximity to the station and connecting transportation was a real plus.

In the summer it would be more like the YouTube videos, but at New Years, when everything is closed, it was like a ghost town. The nearby restaurants that were open are overpriced (I guess for tourists in the summer) they should realize the season and the day, offer specials for the few of us not elsewhere.
