Overall the stay was good. Breakfast was great, room was very clean and comfortable. Shower head was built up with lime but had dove toiletries that was nice. View of the mountains from the room was incredible and that made up for the false impression that you get to use a balcony (the reason we booked this hotel was for the balcony) the balcony’s are not accessible even though every room has one- they are locked and now just for looks. Wish I would have known this before. Other than the false advertisement the stay was good but would book somewhere else with a balcony in the future. We also rented a car and somehow it got sideswiped in the parking lot after we had checked out and Uber’s back to LAX, and the hotel can’t realest footage without a police report we can’t make because we are now across the country so huge bill is r have to pay now.

This place is amazing for the value it provided! Clean, spacious rooms, free breakfast, free wifi, free parking, microwave in our room, very reasonably priced!! We had a family emergency and our flight was delayed so they graciously offered a late checkout with no extra charge! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating so this was a 5 star experience all the way! Thanks so much!

Good place to stay. A little bit of homeless around the area, but one should not worry, there is a police presence and I felt safe with my family there. Hotel is clean, staff friendly and attentive.

In the past, we have stayed at Holiday Inns and have come to expect a certain level of quality and cleanliness. However, our recent experience at this property was quite different. On the positive side, the breakfast was good, with a standard selection and plenty of options. Unfortunately, the room did not meet our expectations. The carpet was unclean and worn out, and the balcony was so dirty that we couldn't even step onto it. The windows were not soundproof, and we were disturbed by traffic noise and ambulance sirens throughout the night. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the gym and washrooms was below what we typically expect. Because of these issues, I would rate this stay lower compared to other Holiday Inn hotels we've visited, and we likely will not stay at this location again in the future. I also want to mention the surrounding area and neighborhood. We found the area to be less than ideal, and honestly, we felt a bit unsafe parking our car at night. Despite visible security, there were clear signs warning that if a car was stolen or damaged, it would be entirely the owner's responsibility.

The hotel ran out of towels. For the family of 4, we only received 2 towels. When asked the front desk, the lady gave me nothing but attitude. Outside of the hotel is dirty and it doesn’t get cleaned. We stayed for over a week and not once has the cig butt got picked up from the ground as the ashtray was overflowing. The free breakfast was by far the worst selection that I’ve seen in a long time. We won’t be returning back in the future.

The ac in the rooms didn’t work well. There was hardly any water pressure to shower. There was a drunk guy harassing me on my floor which front desk did move us but it was scary. Pretty sure we heard gun shots outside. It’s not in a great area. For the price it’s not worth it! The ants are horrible outside they were all over my car one morning and there was no food in my car either.

We stayed there one night. The room is spacious and clean. It has the fridge and the microwave which are not always in other hotels. We warmed the leftover at night for hungry kid. The breakfast is decent. We will stay again. One thing is that the outdoor pool might need to clean up, but overall kid had a great time.

Front desk receptionists were not friendly, rooms were not clean, swimming pool got no towers, water was so cold even in summer with hot weather outside, micro had no plate inside to use, $100/deposit was not confirmed that it will be refunded when checked out. We had to call back to request for a refund and the front desk hung up on us for couple of times. Manager was never call us back when we requested a call back. It was a very disappointed to stay at this hotel. Not reccoment for anyone.

Dirty. Smelled like mildew and cleaning product. Carpet was filthy throughout the whole facility. Breakfast was terrible. Shower leaked and smelled. I stay at IHG/Holiday Inn Expresses everywhere and this was BY FAR THE WORST I’ve ever stayed at. Do not book this hotel!

First time in this name brand hotel. It was very comparable to a Hilton Homewood Suites. The room was spacious & very clean, the gym was excellent & the complimentary breakfast offered had a great variety of food options. As others have mentioned, the balcony is closed off, but you still get a nice view. The only downside to this location is the surrounding area is on the brink of becoming destitute. Not an area I would go for a nightly walk given the amount of homelessness in the area. On the bright side, you are short drive to Mickey's world and from the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the worst Holiday Inn express I had ever been! The room is dirty! And they don’t even replace the toilet paper when it is almost gone! Overall, the experience is horrible!

Cleanliness and service was an issue with our stay . Room was cleaned even after requesting for service. Was told we were on list forclean in but we came after 10 pm our room was not cleaned . Call the front desk for towels but was told we had come down to pick it up . Talk to the manager next day , room got cleaned but looked like no vacuum or sweeping was done . Hallway was very dirty . Looks the holiday is under staff or doesn’t have a vacuum cleaner. Avoid this hotel.

we expend a week in the hotel they didn't clean the floors or change the sheets on the beds, people doing drugs all around at all time's we got concern about walking to nearby restaurants and stores , over the weekend's there is no parking do event's next door

My room was not clean! The shower still had hair in it and the room had a bad smell. Also, there’s an event place in the same parking lot and the night we stayed, there was a quince going on and it was so loud. You could hear EVERYTHING. The party lasted until after midnight so we didn’t sleep. I know that’s not the hotels fault but I wouldn’t book this place again especially on a weekend when there could possibly be a party in the next building. I wouldn’t book here again!!
