We stayed there during the Oceans Calling event for one night. Check in was 4pm but I was able to check in around 2pm and drop our bags and go to the festival. Front desk staff was super nice and the place was clean. My only issue was when we first got there it felt like the whole hotel was just damp. By the next morning that feeling was gone for whatever reason. I wound up leaving a few articles of clothing hanging to dry out, due to the massive rainstorm at the concert, and on my way home they called to let me know I left them there. So that is A+ customer service for me. All in all I give this a 4/5 and I would stay here again

A three generation family trip with small kids, and this was perfect! The kids adored the bayside beach, the rooftop and indoor pools. Quick walk to the beach, and for ice cream. Convenient to all of OC. Our only issue was linens. Booked for 6 people, requiring use of the sofa bed, but had to request bedding for it, and was sternly questioned about just how many people we had. We also only had 3 towels, and 2 washcloths. When we asked for more for 6 people over 4 days, we were again questioned why we needed more. It took 3 requests to get one towel and washcloth per person on our reservation. We found that very frustrating, but once we got them there were no further issues. I may be more of a staff issue than a property policy. We cant wait to visit again.

Walls are very thin ! Especially if door for adjoining room . Felt like people were in our room talking . Also bed mattresses need to be replaced . We literally would fall into the center of the bed while sleeping . And the air conditioner sounded like planes was landing . Was so loud . Good thing view was great

We had the pleasure to stay at Princess Bayside Beach Hotel for few days. The staff was great and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. The room service was done every day providing new clean towels and toiletries. The hotel itself was clean and cute, located in a nice area surrounded by a lot of restaurants and stores. Definetly we will stay here on our next trip to OC.

The hotel was a little dated. Though it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a little noisy with traffic but i am sure that is a problem with all the hotels with being right on a busy street. The staff behind the counter were all friendly and very accomodating. All in all, it was a great place to stay!! I would stay here again!!

Clean. Only concern I have was the neighboring room had loud tenants who seemed to be throwing furniture and a lady was yelling. I couldn't tell if it was above or beside or below.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The smell of the pool does travel through the hotel floors. Would also be nice is the bar/ restaurant was open on other days besides Friday and Saturday. Besides that very convenient location

The hotel said that it made some upgrades, but we didn't see any. Also, the rooms are outdated. Bathroom door wouldn't open all the way because of the toilet. There was an awful stain on the balcony that we tried to clean to no avail. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will not stay here again.

Front desk receptionist very impolite and unprofessional, I paid $1800 expecting a good location and a professional services. They sincerely need to train they staff bether. I'll never recommend anyone to go there.

The location is great but having an additional $30 fee at check in for "amentities" seems like greedy money grabbing. With that being said our room, which was spacious, dod not have an iron, the ironing board was torn, the coffee maker had dirt where you insert.water, and the air conditioner sounded like an engine cranking up every time it turned on. The sir conditioner definitely has a problem and needs serviced. Lastly, we were told we could not pay to park a 2nd car because the lot was full when the reality was not even half of the spots had a car in it during the whole stay. Only stay here for the location is what I would recommend.

The hotel was fine for what it was - no frills, but clean. The staff was friendly, however they weren't allowed to offer a late checkout, though I could leave my car parked there on checkout day if I wanted to. Easy walk to the beach, plus there is a private sound side beach which I didn't visit. The onsite "pub and eatery" was not serving food, so that was a little disappointing. Overall, it was fine for my needs, but probably wouldn't stay there again.
