If you are only wanting a clean & comfortable place to stay this should work. It's extremely close to Mackinaw Ferry company. I may have been slightly disappointed because I thought the pictures of the room looked better on website.

Very clean, no frills stay. We stayed for 2 nights while visiting the area. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful with ferry tickets. If we were in the area, I would not hesitate to book again.

I liked how the lobby had a welcoming atmosphere and the lobby was always staffed at check in and check out. The room was clean, neat, and simple for what I needed. With two beds I had room to unpack and pack.The bathroom was simple and clean. The location was so close and walking distance to many food and shopping options as well as ferry service to the island. Perfect for more than one night. I enjoyed using the satellite hot tub the Plaza offered as well after a long day.

Just a simple one-night stay as we were traveling home. Location would be great for tourist to Mackinaw City. The room was very clean and good condition. There were sufficient AC power outlets to charge our iPhones and iPads. The showers was fine (took a little time for the hot water to get hot) and the exhaust fan worked well. I've been in nicer places, but they were 3-4 times the price. Suggested improvement: install a grab bar to increase safety for stepping into & out of the tub/shower (and maybe prevent a law suit).

They need a softer pillow out of the 2 on each bed. They were both flat. WiFi was real good. The place was definitely very nice and upgraded. What they need in each room is a refrigerator & microwave. Then this place could charge a lot more. The pool & Hot Tub was very nice. Excellent location. The managers / desk clerk were very nice and above expectations.

Very clean. Had a corner room upstairs and the view was of downtown. Really nice room and accomodating staff. Could use another chair in the room. One was not enough. Great stay though. Wish there was an elevator but we were only there one night so we dealt with it.

This was a last minute trip for us & we were pleasantly surprised! The property is right on main street within walking distance to EVERYTHING with plenty of parking! The room was clean & the bed comfy. The pillows were a little flat to our liking but there were 4 so we made it work. We called Dan in the morning & asked if the hot tub was open. He said it was & offered a noon checkout so we could use it unrushed! We will definitely be back!

Good for the price. Few amenities, but if you’re driving, take the extras. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, but I stacked blankets on it, and most hotel beds are lacking. Due to the high prices for hotels this was affordable. Would stay again but would bring a bit more comforts.

We did a one night stay here before heading to Mackinac Island. They accommodated us by letting us check in a little late. Room was comfortable for a motel. Service was excellent. Less than a few blocks from the ferry.

loved being close to everything. Had a dampness in room. Everying was damp feeling room 101 1nd 102 never had that before on the other side of hotel. Added a night and was charged a large amount for the two rooms

A/c unit musty & smelly. Closet reeked of stale, mildew. Room very outdated. I tried to switch the room to different credit card the next morning & staff refused siting charge already posted & fees are not covered. BS to me bcuz II’ve changed credit cards before.

The property was ok for a Motel. I would not classify it as a suite by any means. Unfortunately, our room was right outside the smoking section and smelled horrible every time we opened the door. I guess Expedia doesn’t want an honest rating because they flagged my rating for no good reason

We stayed for 2 nights and got 2 towels for 2 people for our entire stay. If you want room service you have to request it before 11 am. If you don’t request you can not get new towels or anything. The rooms are INCREDIBLY outdated. They stink and have that old smell to them. Our refrigerator smelled like death and was not usable. The outside of the hotel is updated and parking is convenient. You can easily walk to all of the shops on the main strip in Mackinaw. If you are one that prefers a cleaner more modern comfortable place to stay this place is NOT IT.

I wish that I was aware of discount rate if I paid in cash versus credit. Room was clean and comfortable . Shower hard to get to proper temp ( either too hot or too cold) and bathroom door would not close and appeared to have been that way for a while. No fridge or microwave and not even a grab and go. Electrical plugs on top of clock not functional ( usb ports worked). No secondsry security chain or latch breakfast.

Very friendly. Very clean. Very quiet. Pool area was nice, too. Only complaint is the bed pillows weren't to my liking. Nice location to all of the area attractions. I'd recommend to everyone.

This hotel is a great location walking distance to the ferry and downtown Mackinac city, staff are good , room is clean but smell musty, as well as the hallway. We did not get a good night sleep due to the A/C super loud at night. Dated hotel is in need of complete renovations and change the A/Cs in the rooms.
