It was tough to find the front desk help. The ice maker was in the room with the front desk which closed at night and didn’t open until 7:00am after we left. I had to buy ice for my lunch bag. The breakfast was a coupon to the local diner. It was limited and you had to tip the waitress. It wouldn’t have cost me anything if they had breakfast there. The room was clean and comfortable.

When I first pulled up I really wasn't sure. However when we got to the room it has hardwood floors. Which is genius! I wish more hotels did this. Hotels with carpet I find really disgusting. It had hard wood floors, everything was very clean and the room was spacious. The only thing a little out of date, which is fine, was the bathroom. It also offered a cool sofa area with a tv upstairs where my family played a card game. I was very impressed. Slept great!

Amazing motel for the price. So clean. You get 2 drink tickets for Badlands Saloon & Grille. Great place. You get breakfast the next morning. B&G and pancakes were great. The front desk gentleman was great. We stayed on our way to Montana and on our way home.

Bathroom sliding door would not stay shut. Unacceptable. Overstuffed chair was unsitable....if it wasn't broken I don't know how one was supposed to find it useful. Dim light bulbs in the room. Once can get energy saving bulbs that are bright. Wonderful shower and comfortable bed. Nice staff, especially June at the front desk.

The room was compact but adequate, and mostly clean - there was a smear of white badland dust on the couch when we arrived. The staff at check-in was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The in-house breakfast offering was limited - no bagels, but we enjoyed the free option at the restaurant downtown. Parking was convenient right outside our room. On the downside, we could hear footsteps and chair movements from the room above throughout the night.

The lady at the front desk upon check in was absolutely incredible and a delight to talk to. Very helpful with things to do in the area. Room was very clean and comfortable beds with a huge flatscreen tv. Would definitely stay here again

Other guests were standing outside our room smoking. We couldn’t even unload our stuff into the room without getting smoked out. The hotel management moved us into a less desirable room, so we at least had a place to sleep. Would not go back to this hotel.

I am normally skeptical of motels, but in town there are very few options. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and cleanliness of America's Best Value Inn. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was clean. The attendants at the front desk were accommodating with restaurant and attraction recommendations. I would stay here again.

The room was clean and we appreciated that we could get a room with 3 beds. We did not have any issues that we needed to speak to the front desk about, so I can’t speak to their responsiveness, but the person who checked us in was friendly. The place is not fancy and definitely a little rundown, but that didn’t bother us as we were just looking for a clean place to sleep. It was a little noisy at night as you could hear the people outside and around you fairly easily through the walls & ceiling, but much of that just depends on who you are staying beside. Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend it.

We booked while on the road headed towards Badlands for that night. The room was big enough for our family of 5. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was at a restaurant within walking distance in the little town and the food was excellent. The coffee was amazing.

Talk about an unexpected oasis in the middle of nowhere! Clean rooms, A/C worked great when it was 106 outside, and a cool pool. They give you a free drink (with dinner purchase) at the bar down the road. Great place!

We were only there for an overnight while driving home. The hotel was older but upgraded. The tub didn’t have a working plug so out was tough for our daughter to take a bath. The beds were pretty comfy. Didn’t have an ice machine that was working well. Expensive from comparing other places
