Perfect stay in Opatija

The location of the accomodation is perfect, in the heart of Opatija, 5 m from the see, very close to the center. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Amazing view from the rooms on the seeside. It was our second time to be here and we really enjoyed it. The room was cosy and clean, The breakfast and dinner was delicious. The hotel is highly recommended.

Good except parking

Nice clean modern hotel. Free breakfast is awesome. Hotel is right on the water with an excellent view including from lobby bar. Very pleasant staff.

No parking. Not no free parking - no parking, period. We happened to easily find street parking but this could have been a huge hassle. I guess parking is not realistic in this neighbourhood.

Overall, it was a great stay and we had a good and relaxing time.

The location and hotel beach was great.

The room balcony door didn’t have a proper locker. The room had spider nets and a spider.

Great location, modern, comfortable and pretty rooms. Access to beach and yoga classes.

The food (breakfast and dinner) was somewhat disapponiting. Great variety but not great taste.

A reggeli és a vacsora bőséges és változatos volt, az étteremből is a tengerre lehetett látni. A hotel szobái javarészt a tengerre néznek, én például az ágyból is a tengert láttam. A szobához erkély is tartozott, onnan is lehetett napozni. A személyzet németül és angolul is beszélt, mindenki nagyon barátságos volt. Lifttel mindent meg lehetett közelíteni, idősebbek számára is tökéletes. A hotel mögött végig lehet menni a parton, rengeteg büfé/étterem/fagyizó követi egymást. A város maga gyönyörű.

A part volt az egyetlen csalódás a számomra. Sajnos rögtön mélyül a víz a hotelnél, ahol nem, ott pedig vízicipő szükséges.

This will definitely be my choice when I visit Opatija again

Food at the hotel restaurant was excelent. Great choice of hlfood and drink fir breakfast and dinner, I barely spent anything outside of hotel. Staff at the reception and at the bar was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Even before my check-in, they took care of my personal belongings and ensured everything was ready for my arrival.

Надо понимать, что отдельно парковка-30 евро, лежаки -25 евро. И еще полотенца. То есть все это надо прибавить к цене!! Еды много, но не все вкусно. Вначале ужина огромная очередь!!! Лучше не ходить.

Das Frühstück war etwas einfallslos, jeden Tag die selben 2 Wurstsorten, wenn man später kam war die Auswahl sehr reduziert aber im Großen und Ganzen war es in Ordnung. Es waren noch keine Liegen und Sonnenschirme beim Meer aufgestellt.

Alles in allem sehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub, ich habe fest vor wieder zu kommen.

Die Lage direkt am Meer, vom Busbahnhof gut erreichbar, aber doch etwas abseits vom Trubel, daher angenehm ruhig, das Einzelzimmer mit Balkon direkt über dem Meer. Zimmer relativ geräumig. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Duschen war etwas mühsam, da der Duschkopf sehr klein war und nicht fixiert werden konnte. Das Abendessen (ich hatte Halbpension) war okay, aber auch nicht herausragend, insbesondere nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Der Wein aus dem Automaten passt da ins Bild. Eine Massenausspeisung halt, für ein ***-Hotel aber wahrscheinlich ok.

Ár-érték arányban valamivel jobbra számítottunk. Ez köszönhető a hiányos információknak is.

Csodás volt a kilátás. A szálloda pár perc sétára van a városközponttól. Az ételek nem voltak rosszak, a személyzet figyelmes.

A szállás elég forgalmas helyen van emiatt nagyon bosszantó volt a saját parkoló hiánya mert az utcán kevés volt. Az érkezésünkig bizonytalan volt, hogy erkélyes szobát fogunk-e kapni mert nem minden Standard seaview szobának van erkélye. (Superior nem volt foglalható) Beírtuk a foglalásba, hogy mindenképpen erkélyest szeretnénk mert kiválasztani nem lehetett. Először azt válaszolták, hogy mindent megtesznek annak érdekében, másodjára pedíg (az érkezésünk előtt néhány órával), hogy nincsen olyan szobájuk. Végül erkélyes szobát kaptunk de az előzmények miatt elég rossz volt a hangulatunk. A beltéri medence egy sötét pincében van, ami a képekből nem látható, így nem is volt kedvünk lemenni fürdeni. A szálloda leírásában nincs benne, hogy a Standard szoba régi épületszárnyban van. Sok-sok régi cső fut falon kívül a szobában, hagyományos fűtés és régi ablakok vannak, valamint helyenként rozsdás az erkélykorlát. A szobánk falaira ráférne egy festés és nagyon kellene egy vegyszeres tisztítás a padlószőnyegnek. A wc deszka zavaróan nyikorgott minden fel-és lehajtásnál.

Vse mi je bilo všeč. Hrana super, osebje super, tehnične težave so bile odpravljene takoj. Pohvalno.

V kopalnici ni bilo šampona. Sicer je bilo trdo milo, ki pa ni najprimerneje za umivanje glave.

Great location on the Lungomare

Perfect location right on the Lungomare. 10 min walk from bus station and town centre. Nice private beach open 6am-10pm. Decent buffet breakfast and dinner make it good value. Balcony with gorgeous sea view. Everything very clean.

Room and bathroom were pretty small but fine for solo traveller and a short stay. Nothing to dislike.

On the evening of 24/06/2023, the behavior of the waiter in the bar was horrible! He spoiled our evening! hurtful, impatient!!!! the other staff were nice! to pay separately for the sunbeds...rather ask for that much more for the accommodation.

Staff both on reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were very good, with lot of different food. It was pleasant to eat in the restaurant because there was lot of people working in the restaurant so it was very clean.

That you need to pay for deckchairs and parasol on the beach.

Close to the beach and City Center. Good breakfast and dinner. Bar with a nice view. Good cocktails and smoothies. Good value for money. Swimming pool with sea water.

No drinks after 10 pm. No drinks in the minibar (it was impossible to get any from the reception as well and we were sent to the city center instead). Paid parking (25 €/day) and paid sunbeds (the same price). No coffee is available during dinner.

Great choice, except for the breakfast.

Very nice sundeck at the ocean just across the Lungomare path. We received an upgrade with sea view which made our stay much more pleasant. Nice cappuccino at the lobby bar at a reasonable price, €2.20. Valuable parking advice during the check in. Overall good value for the dinner buffet (with beer or wine) when included in the room rate. Many international TV channels.

The indoor "pool" is more like a very large hot-tub and not inviting at all, even in colder weather. The biggest down side of our stay was the breakfast: no fresh bread at all; no real selection of muesli cereals beyond cornflakes and coco-puffs; orange "juice" made from syrup; and the biggest disappointment was the coffee, although "fresh ground" from the coffee machine, no matter if we tried cappuccino, espresso, americano, or coffee latte, it all tasted awful. There was always a wide and colorful range of sweets on offer, also during dinner buffet, but they all disappointed when it comes to taste and texture. For a longer stay in summer, a mini fridge in the room would be desirable to take you thru the day.
