A great experience

the location is perfect, the fact that we are far from the population but also close with the car is perfect. Everything was clean and the staff very friendly. The view was absolutely great and we got great bedroom.

The restaurant is kind of expensive, even though it’s good and heavy, it’s very expensive and if you don’t have a car or anything to go eat anywhere else it can easily cost a lot.

I thought the breakfast was very poor. The orange juice not good and plenty of food but greasy and fatty looking not much taste the girl serving was pleasant and helpful.

poor food, indifferent staff, very noisy through the night. it sounded as if they were moving furniture and vacuuming after midnight.

This is an excellent location for a quiet getaway with good food and many lovely walking tracks.

The views from this hotel are unbelievable. It is surrounded by many fantastic walking and biking trails. Bedroom was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Food was very good also.

Stayed in room 101. The water was, in my opinion, dangerously hot coming from the shower. We could not turn down the heat. We reported it to the staff who came straight away and adjusted it. Unfortunately turning the controls next time sent it back up to a high temperature.

Etape au cœur de la nature

Très bel hôtel situé en plein cœur des montages Galtees avec une vue incroyable; et une pléthore de chemins de randonnée à explorer! Dommage que nous n'avons pas eu davantage de temps pour le faire ^_^ La chambre est très agréable, confortable et lumineuse; avec tout le confort annoncé. L'ensemble de l'établissement est magnifiquement aménagé et décoré. Parking disponible et facile.

Nice hotel for a short stay.

Ease of check in. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very nice in the restaurant. The room was clean and adequately sized.

The hotel is old and shows signs of it as its out dated. There was a wedding on at the time and they take over the only bar in the hotel making it uncomfortable for guests not attending the wedding.

It is in the details that make or break a hotel, Aherlow House needs to pay attention to the details

The staff was great, food is good and location is just beautiful.

There was no bottle water in the rooms, the shower did not work on the day of my Mom's burial which was very upsetting and on my last day the kettle did not work.

Tranquil setting, lovely people. We were made very welcome. Loved it.

La localisation de l'hôtel est magnifique.

Aucune vue par la fenêtre, nous étions collés à un mur végéta. Peu de lumière. Petit déjeuner peu élaboré en dehors de de l'Irish breakfast.

Can of Varnish on Bed/whole room smelled. Couldn’t change our room.

Nigdy już bym tam nie wróciła!

Lokalizacja super, wygląd z zewnątrz super. Reszta miernota!

Jedzenie, pokój, nie sprawnie działającą toaleta, nigdy w życiu nikomu bym nie poleciła i nigdy już tam nie pojadę chyba że posiedzieć na tarasie - na zewnątrz!. Żadnego jedzenia dla wegetarian, dwa mięsne dania do wyboru - bez glutenu w tym jedno bardzo pikantne. Myślę że hotel nie ma żadnej konkurencji w pobliżu. Więc miernota może się wydawać w porządku. Dla mnie zdecydowanie hotel na NIE!

Wonderful relaxing break. We will be back!

Fantastic location, views and surrounding area superb. Lodge accommodation and facilities excellent. Staff friendly and helpful, responded to questions pre visit. Self catering so only had breakfast one morning, delicious - and a family meal also excellent, even though hotel exceptionally busy that day

Lovely hotel with amazing views of the Galteemore Mountains. Very old world & beautifully maintained. The food was amazing & the staff were lovely.
