Lovely quiet little slice of heaven. Not over done. Let’s the natural beauty and surroundings speak for themselves
2.5
Amazing place to stay!!! Beautiful pools and private beach. Huge room!!!! It’s stunning!!! So worth it.
3.0
Beautiful property. Primitive service. No reception area/office. poor communication. But spectacular beach! Food and service at the casual restaurant is great

The employees were friendly and the views were beautiful. I am just not able to give a good review because I felt deceived by the resorts and its accommodations and amenities. I booked 2 separate stays for the same party, total of 5 people and it was very expensive for what it actually is worth. Upon arriving we had no service on our phones, no wifi, no TV, no electricity and no AC due to no electricity. I had to turn on the electricity manually and climb up to the closet to switch it on and off. They had no food options, when ordering we were forced to eat the same 2 dishes the entire time. It was very disappointing.

I stayed here with my family and booked two separate rooms with a pool and although the views were beautiful, they stay itself was very uncomfortable. We arrived and immediately there was bo electricity, no wifi, no AC because of the lack of electricity. I had to manually turn the lights on and off. We had little options of food, they were always running out of food and we basically had to eat the same dish over and over again. I repeatedly had to asl for help, I had no phone service, couldn't communicate with the staff. It was disappointing because the property looked so pretty.

Absolutely wow!! This is in paradise. Can’t stress enough how absolutely stunning this resort is. Right at the ocean, yet in the middle of the jungle. Stunning private villas (not just rooms), epic views, super tranquil, only a handful of people around as it’s a boutique resort on a huge property. Just wow. Great food and drinks and fantastic service. This is a VIP experience, hands down. Thank you, Imanta!

The Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The hotel can be a private beach jungle dream. Restaurants are outstanding, and the silence and privacy takes the win over any big resort. Definitely going back.

beautiful, but dinner restaurant nothing special. Breakfast venue very good. Inconsistent housekeeping.

This property, staff, service, food, location are amazing

It was nice but very disappointing. Not worth the money. Besisdes it says includes breakfast but maybe kids size breakfast. A small plate of oats a cookie and a juice...Also I was very upset about turtle release. They allow little kids release the turtles and I saw the kids hurting more than one turtle and the kids stepped in few of them. I was very upset about that part. It is a nice property but definitely would not return.

Our stay was fabulous...What a gorgeous private spot!

We absolutely loved Imanta! We went for our 25 year anniversary and LOVED it. Private beach, toes in the sand for breakfast and lunch and you feel like you have the whole place to yourselves. If you are looking for a private, relaxed chill on the beach vacation, this place is paradise. We can't wait to go back.
1.5
The property itself is amazing. The beach is private and pristine. The staff is amazing. The only downfall is the food! The breakfast and lunch are good but the dinner is horrible!!!! With only one option for dinner on-site and it being disgusting it put a wrench in our stay. The resort is remote so having to leave every night for dinner was not favorable.
2.5
I really like it is exclusive
I didn't like the rate for the taxi from the hotel to the airport is excessive (double of the rate from the airport to the hotel). I think is an abuse
2.5
I liked the privacy, the natural setting. The quiet beach, and the beach restaurant.

This place is magical. Pure barefoot luxury. Feeling rested after our stay.

for a $500 and higher per night resort, there were a lot of plumbing issues

The property has an amazing location, they have their own private beach. I would highly recommend this hotel!! The staff was amazing.

EXCELENTES INSTALACIONES, UN SERVICIO Y TRATO PERFECTO

Although the weather was unexpectedly unruly for Punta Mita and the time of year, the experience at Imanta was exactly what I needed, completely restful. The room (more private villa) was open, spacious but cozy. Glass sliding doors open all of the walls up to the outside, allowing one to hear waves crash, fountains bubble and birds chirp (a screen door option also available to keep any jungle critters out). Sets of wooden pocket doors separate the Villa’s interior into smaller spaces to create a more intimate feeling.
The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and lovely.
The property is sprawling, almost 300 acres, most of which is hikeable and has natural coves to explore.
The beach set up is perfect... chairs are set in various areas providing privacy, shade, full sun, umbrellas, draped daybeds etc.
The spa breaks tradition by being open air, yet private. The spa staff catered to my specific wants (an aloe Vera wrap and massage) that wasn’t on the menu.
the food and drinks were delicious all around. No reason at all to leave the gates. Go and enjoy!

I hate giving this review bc the hotel has great potential, it should be a 10 but it's a 6 or 7
Pros: secluded, private, beautiful, beach and villas, very good service in general but especially in the restaurants, good food (Except for the tacos that gave my husband and I food poisoning) and authentic mexican feel without the Cabo clichés, sometimes it's hard for me as a Mexican to enjoy hotels in my own country because they portray the idea of what a lot of foreigners think it's mexican culture.
Cons: for starters my husband and I got very sick from some lamb tacos and the management didn't offer any help, the worst part is the hotel expected us to pay for them, at the end they sustracted them from the final bill. In general I feel that the hotel is overpriced specifically the spa rates and I didn't feel that they live up to the standards of Relais and Chateaux (we've stayed in many around the world). I understand that the hotel is in the middle of the jungle (which is great), but the amount of spiders, lizards, crickets, ants and crabs inside the room was too much, I'm used to the occasional visitor but this felt like a plague, also the condition of the hotel isn't the best, to get to the beach you had to cross through a huge disgusting puddle; the cleaning of the room was deficient: some days they cleaned the outside tub and others they didn't, same with the minibar refillings and lastly the hotel is in no way adapted for people with disabilities

When people talk about being in paradise, they must have Imanta Resorts in mind. We had an incredibly romantic, relaxing and restorative experience doing nothing--aside from being lulled to sleep and awakened by the ocean waves, gliding through the infinity pool, soaking in the jacuzzi bath, showering in a stone shower with sunshine streaming in, walking and swimming in the sea, releasing baby turtles, delighting in delicious ceviche, cannolis, and mahi mahi, sipping margaritas and talking with the extremely friendly and helpful staff.
2.5
Amazing retreat. Not your like your normal vacation, but more of a boutique hotel experience. Further in the exceptional categorie, the staff new your every move and anticipated what you might want. Truly exceptional.

Imanta Resorts - January 14 - 18, 2016
Imanta Resort is a world-class escape, and ranks top of any resort (even Bora Bora) I’ve had the pleasure to experience. The location, staff, and feel, is magical. You are greeted by name, and there are no receipts to sign, it’s done seamlessly while you are at the resort. A stay at Imanta is a true escape to relaxation and imagination. The sunsets are beautiful, and the canopy of stars greets you each evening like an old friend. The rolling Pacific waves rumble ashore in a rhythmic cadence which lulls you into a deep sense of wonderment.
2.5
perfect getaway if you want solo time w books and beautiful beachcomber setting.

staff did everything to make our stay near perfect. This is a magical place to relax and get pampered. We did not realize the hotel accommodates families with young children The hotel moved us to a lovely quiet room. We enjoyed the scale of this hotel and the beauty of its surroundings. A hike to the owners house is a must
2.5
Wonderful special place. I can't wait to go back.
2.0
All in all very good. However couple of nickles - our room did not have its own pool or day bed. Therefore had to use the main pool - however there were no pool beds.
Also us100$ for car to airport is excessive. We paid half on the way to the hotel,

perfect for relaxing.
Unique setting, great service, good food.
