Brekfast served only 7:30-8:30 AM, no bar for coffee or drinks although it says there is. Dirty blanket, leaking siphon under the sink, dirty windows. Make sure you took bed AND Breakfast although it is advertised as B&B. Cannot pay for extra breakfast if you are not on the breakfast list.

RIP OFF - AVOID !!!!!!!! Booked the hotel for a two night stay three months in advance. On arrival at 7pm I was told they didn't have my booking. I showed them my Expedia confirmation email and then they said even though I had paid for two nights it was only enough to cover one nights' stay as the Manager didn't like Expedia's commission rates for online bookings. A total con. Ripping off people. The receptionist I dealt with was unprofessional and extremely rude and abrupt. The manager would not speak to me on the phone. The area in which the hotel is situated is otherwise residential and not nice at all. No shops, restaurants or amenities nearby and I was told that there was no breakfast service available for the morning. It's also far out of the city centre, a 40min walk or a bus journey. No kettle or fridge in room so it was tap water or nothing which I had to keep drinking as the room was far too warm and could not be changed. Neither could I open a window as I was on the ground floor with a street directly outside. The bed was uncomfortable and the above issues meant I had a very poor nights sleep. I was glad that I only ended up staying for only one night instead of two, getting a far nicer and cheaper room in old town for a great second nights' stay. Avoid this hotel, terrible !!@

I liked the fact it was a very calm area, that it was not expensive, though the service could be slightly better, such as soap in the shower, and a very simple breakfast, or at least some coffee in the room, like cheap even, not like an amazing expections... But I the service at reception is impeccable, the lady is very helpful, and on the ball!

The most awful stay. I have booked for 2 nights. When came in the second booked night, my key was not working in the elevator. Walked the stairs. But when I entered the room, all my clothes disappeared!!! I went to the reception and they told me that this was a mistake, and showed my clothes that they took out from the room and placed somewhere!!! I asked how this could happen that I have reservation for 2 nights, but after the 1st - somebody collects my clothes and throws away from the room? “I don’t know”, was the answer. I definitely do not recommend this hotel. The most awful stay, ever.

My family and I checked in Hotel Victor late on Saturday night tired after long drive. The deluxe suite that we paid for was big but dirty: stained sheets, spider's web on the ceiling, etc. We asked for another room. It looked a bit better and I started taking a shower before dinner and saw a used men's contraceptive device on the shelf. Also we found somebody's socks on the heater. The air-conditioner did not work either. We told reception about our problem and were told that the owner will contact us. We waited but nobody contacted us. So my family and I had to move out and urgently find another hotel late on Saturday night. Today I wrote to the hotel management asking for refund since we did not stay in that hotel. The manager was rude and refused refund. The is outrageous! I have never experienced that kind of service in whole my life. So, stay away from that hotel if you do not want to have the same kind of trouble for your money that I had.

There is literally no internet connection in the evening, breakfasts were just bad. One of cereals dispensers didn’t work, there were almost no vegetarian options(even yoghurts were bad quality and had gelatine). If you need only bed, then it’s ok. If you need something else too, look for something different.

Clean and new rooms. Liked everything about them. Around a 30 minute walk to the old town. Reasonable location. Bit of a struggle for them with the breakfast rush, but we all got fed and left satisfied.

It is very quiet and the air condition worked. The room had, however, never cleaned up during the whole stay. The bath room was a little dirty from the beginning on. Lots of hair in the sink.

Staff very unfriendly, not made welcome whatsoever. Nobody smiled nobody said good morning and generally nobody spoke. Restaurant and bar advertised but not opened in the afternoon/evening, was open for breakfast. Our particular room obviously had a problem with drainage system, smelt as though something had died wherever and was most unpleasant!! No soap in the bathroom after it had run out. On the last night after a hint from us it was filled but they then left the refill in the bathroom. Pretty poor show from what was billed as a 3 star hotel!! Needs tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge would not go amiss!!! Aside of all that the room was ok.

Clean, and well organised. Good value for money. Not far from the centre. The only drowback was the night receptionist who seemed a bit lost. A fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, everyone got to the reception. The receptionist did not say anything until asked 10 minutes later, while everyone was waiting to find out what is going on.

The room was 100% NOT at shown or described on hotel.com. The room was filthy, smelled like urine, and had bugs everywhere. The towels and bedding were ripped and stained. The room was not comfortable and the mattresses were crap. In fact I had to demand another room because the springs in the mattress I had were broken. They refused to turn the Air conditioner on even though I payed for a room with air conditioning. So needless to say it was super hot in my room. The hotel refused to do anything do I called hotel.com from Europe. Guess what, hotel.com refused to do anything. They did not check that the hotel info was correct on their website nor do they guarantee the booking. Needless to say I will try to avoid booking on hotel.com in the future.

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of the city, doesn't seem to have much in the form of local amenities, bus route is ok into the city even if you have to guess which way into the city the bus goes

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Nice, clean and quiet. It was very cheap and easy to go with taxi to the city center, so it didn't matter that the hotel was located outside of the center.

Loved everything about this hotel although some might have preferred a more central location. The entrance area very welcoming , bright and airy. Close to the bus stop to the old town but once we got our bearings a 20 minute walk took us into the old town. This is a wee gem in the outskirts of the city , great value , comfort levels high, large bedroom and large ensuite bathroom. Continental breakfast was good , not a wde selection of meats / cheeses but very generous supply of the meat and cheese available as well as various breads etc. Definitely excellent value for money.

The Hotel was lovely, with the decor feeling remarkably higher quality than the price of the hotel would let on. The staff kept to themselves, which was fine, as hardly anyone in Slovakia spoke English, so it was to be expected. The rooms were lovely, with plenty of lighting, but since the Hotel's located in a residential area, don't expect to see too much out the window. Overall, was very pleased with the experience. My only concern was not necessarily because of the hotel itself, but more what I saw another reviewer say about the cleaners taking their money. It made me and my partner worried, so we took our high-value items out with us in the day.
