We loved our stay at this beautiful property. The staff were exceptionally helpful, with great suggestions on local attractions, dining etc. The room was lovely and the breakfast was super. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

The staff were super welcoming and helpful! The location is convenient to the metro to the airport, and close to the busy areas of Porto, with just enough distance to be quiet and relaxing. The room has a lovely balcony and (important for the summer!) great AC! Also, the breakfast spread is lovely with plenty of options beyond bread & jam -- fresh juice, fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereal, eggs, cold cuts, etc.

Staff were helpful and courteous. The challenge for me was the limited orden e of staff. After 5 there is nobody around. The receptionist responds if you send an email about a specific concern or question but you do lot have the associated services Such as access to information, getting a taxi, etc. there’s nobody.

Helpful desk. Clean. No elevator- should enquire age of client for room availability on lower floor. Long life milk for coffee outside of breakfast time. Glasses in room. Safe in room. Couple drawers for clothes.

We asked for a quiet room and were given a garden room which was very quiet. Hotel building is modern, stylish and clean. Marta on reception is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Our room was nice, wifi was good, bed comfy, shower good. It is in a great location to walk around Porto and to the river. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Outside of the old part of Porto, but walkable although it is really uphill from the river. The Metro was a short walk away, with a station on the south bank of the Douro. Marla, on the front desk, was very helpful with transit and restaurant recommendations.

The property is very close to all the attractions. Everything is walkable. Staff were very welcoming, especially Sofia who was extremely patient and knowledgeable of the area. Excellent breakfast to start your day. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel about a 10 minute walk to the metro. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice with selection of breads, cold meats and cheese, fruit, some pastries, eggs and coffee/tea.

We had a wonderful time in Porto and loved the hotel which is so conveniently situated between Lapa and Trindade metro stations, Trindade being a hub, so handy for going to many places.

We stayed for nine days. We received a very warm welcome and were given lots of information about places to visit. The room we had was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was excellent and the staff were very attentive and friendy. We had a hire car and it was a relief to be able to park it somewhere safe & convenient. The hotel is a 40 minute walk to the main tourist attractions in Porto. Generally it is an excellent place to stay.

The guesthouse was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, one must be aware of that the reception desk has restricted opening hours. No problem once you remember that fact.. With reference to environment friendliness, maybe fewer changes of towels for guests staying several days (and possibilities to hang them for better drying in the bathroom) could be recommended. Likewise some simple recycling system (paper, plastics, glass etc) could be an idea...

We booked a deluxe room, and loved the place: - Staff is incredibly friendly - Room was modern, clean and spacious - Daily breakfast is modest but has all you need, including fresh orange juice - Good location, 10 mins walk to city center We heard some of the other rooms weren’t as good, so I recommend paying a bit extra for the deluxe. Anyway, we had a fabulous time.

Overall, it was a good stay. The downsides are no one at the front desk to ask questions and get help the majority of the time and breakfast starts at 8-8:30. Most tours and transportation occurs before this time so breakfast gets missed. They do not offer a to go breakfast bag like many hotels offer. The room and bed were fine.

Great renovated building with nice, large and clean rooms. Located slightly outside the old center, it is still walking distance to all the mayor sights of the city. The street is busy during the day, but with the window closed you almost don't hear anything. The breakfast is very nice and there is always tea or coffee available at any time during the day. Very friendly staff as well. Overal a great stay

Great location, actually very close to city centre and walking distance to most of the Porto’s attractions. Beautiful modern design, great customer service. Local supermarkets nearby, high class and locals restaurants are only 5 minutes distance. Bonus is the free tea, coffee and water 24 hours. Because I was struggling where to have my hot tea in other hotel room! Free hot water is a gem for tea obsessed traveler. Oh and the free self-laundry! We will come back for sure.

Renovated building with an excellent design. Tasty breakfasts, friendly host and possibility to park your car nearby. It is within walking distance to the center, but remember, Porto is mostly on hills;) the only problem we had is "delux" room with no daylight. It is a room without window. The only window was in a bathroom with a glass door.

The staff were very helpfull and the rooms were unique- bathroom was large and had a beautiful tiled floor. Bed was very comfortable. When we left it was raining hard and Anna, who was at the front desk that morning, actually escorted each of us to our cab across the street with an umbrella. Very thoughtful. Overall a charming guest house!

We didn’t stay in this place, they relocated us to an apparent that was ok but the bathroom shower was mouldy, they really need to scrubber the bathroom, the soap dispenser was almost out of the wall, to use the washer machine we had to clean the softener dispenser that was all black mouldy! Don’t know was wrong in Porto but seems that cleanesty is not priority, completely disappeared!!

Our room facing the front was extremely noisy from the traffic....Also walls were quite thin as we could easily hear people next door.. If driving, extremely difficult to find and if you miss,takes forever to get back .. On a positive note,staff was extremely pleasant and healpful. Breakfast was good..

Modern boutique hotel with lovely courtyard. Good breakfast. Informative and thorough check in though quite lengthy (over 20 min wait with 2 people ahead of us). Poor soundproofing - can hear people clearly next door. A bit further from places to see but we love to walk so not a big deal for us. They provide a complementary phone with internet and minutes for calling which was really handy for making reservations. App also provides their recommendations for places to see and where to eat. Overall great stay

Brilliant location, friendly and very helpful staff, and comfortable modern rooms. If you’re sensitive to noise then request a room at the back of the building as the road at the front can be noisy.
