Relaxing and comfotable.

Friendly, helpful landlord. Clean, cosy room. Quite neighborhood and short (10-15min) walk from center. Bus stop very close by.

Nice and clean accommodation in a great location with excellent restaurants and cafes nearby

The self-check-in experience was smooth, the rooms were clean, and the garden view was nice and quiet, so we could sleep with the window open - if that's your thing. It is also a great location with excellent restaurants and cafes nearby.

We got to the accommodation from the train station by walking a bit to the centre and taking a bus. The bus stop's very close to the accommodation. But if you've got a lot of luggage, I'd recommend taking a cab.

Lovely quiet guest room, however very disappointing issues with the cleaning and heating.

Small but nice room, very quiet, comfortable despite a very tiny bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Nice view on the garden.

Highly unpleasant to find out that there is no housekeeping for the room - except for « mid stay » (however I guess that for two-night stays, mid stay comes after the first night). I did not find any information when booking about the fact that there was not going to be any cleaning done. Second, the heating was put off - the first time after our first day - but put on again after I requested it - and then off again the second morning (that time no put on again, despite my specific request). No possibility to have breakfast on the spot.

Pretty place, felt recently renovated, with easy access to public transport into the city.

The room is tiny, as advertised. The two single beds spacing with bolted-in bedside table is an inefficient design for such a small space. A good place to lay your head at night and leave soon after waking up.

Cosy stay

Loved the little touches that made the room feel homey which was appreciated since we had a long stay. The staff were attentive and responded quickly to any requests.

Very good

Cleanliness, decoration, and comfort were all wonderful! The coffee, tea, and biscuits provided were a nice touch. There were plenty of towels, hot water, etc. It was warm in the room due to the summer weather, but the hotel had accounted for that and there was a useful fan in my room upon arrival!

The room was a little bit cramped/awkward (nowhere to efficiently store and access my luggage without blocking areas/doors); but otherwise, I had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return!

We liked the location and value for money.

We had no sleep as you can hear people in the hallway/behind the walls. There was no person to go to and complain,because the robot operates this hotel. Double bed was so uncomfortable we (me and my husband) had a back pain for few days.

Great location & lovely property.

Location was good for the Churchill Hospital which is why we needed to be in Oxford. It’s walking distance to some nice restaurants on St Clements Street. Pub nearby - The Fir Tree does very good pizzas Mon-Fri. The room was very nicely decorated but a little bit small as we stayed 4 nights. The shower room had everything we needed including toiletries. The host was very helpful & made contact to see if everything was ok.

Lack of parking. All of the side roads are permit parking only.

I wouldn't stay here again

This is not a hotel.... It's a normal family home that has been refurbished for a modern type of bedsit, so decoratively it was pleasent and comfortable.

It's a property that is simply not appropriate to be sold as a hotel product. It lacked basic hotel facilities for the price requested. It was noisy, and due to the amount of en-suite rooms squeezed into a family property there were issues with water pressure and temperature consistency and also sound proofing.

Great place for a relaxed stay away

The property is in an excellent location and within great walking distance to town, even in cold weather. The self check in was easy and well explained. The room was excellent and very clean and comfortable. The booklet with instructions and contact details was very clear and I knew how to contact the owner if necessary. We had a very pleasant stay.

In our room there was not much light from a window and although this can't be helped, it could have done with more artificial white light as the warm lights and lack of window on the bed side of the room made us feel quite sleepy! Would also love to have seen a quick note about checkout instruction, we weren't sure if we needed to check out using the self check in computer or take the sheets off etc.

Very attractive place to stay and a good value.

Very clean, room was newly decorated,attractive and modern. Comfortable bed. 20 minute walk to Oxford center or take the public bus from a bus stop just a minute walk from the hotel.

no breakfast, no hotel personnel at the premises, all your questions must be phoned to the manager. that said, the manager was easy to reach and very helpful.

Overall a good experience but could have been better.

Nice and clean.

Had no toiletries (shampoo/conditioner etc). became too hot at night. location hard to find at night. Garden view was quite meh. The garden was sub standard. The common area was dirty; needed hoovering.
