Loved the location and the vibe.

We loved the room location, the terrace overlooking the pool and the super central location. I would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful stay

The one-bedroom apartment with balcony overlooking the garden was an absolute pleasure. Bed was comfy, kitchen was well equipped, and the AC was a great plus. Breakfast was also delicious. The location is walking distance to everything in town. I wish we would have stayed longer.

Great stay in a centralized location of the city

Loved the property. Although in a busy neighborhood, the rooms all have a white noise machine to cancel out the noise. Very centralized location! Breakfast was great!

Great value in a nice location.

The staff was lovely, the facilities were clean and well-maintained. When I checked in I was told that there might be noise from nearby clubs or parties and that a white noise machine and earplugs had been provided. I didn't need the earplugs and didn't hear a thing. I had a great night's sleep.

Highly Recommend!!

The location was amazing, right near the beach and all the other hot spots. We felt safe and secure with a gated property. Karol greeted us with cold drinks and was so friendly. Even asked about dietary restrictions at check in. Laura made an amazing breakfast, different each day. They supplied a noise machine to help with surrounding nightlife noise, we didn’t need it. Comfy beds and cold a/c. Everyone was super nice. We will return!

Ten North Rocks

Everything. The staff was so friendly. Laura every day gave us a different and delicious breakfast. With the best ever smoothie. From the gentleman who cleans the pool to all the gals who help with breakfast and cleaning the rooms and of course the reception staff you couldn't ask for a happier helpful crew.

Convenient walking distance to everything in Tamarindo!

Conveniently located very close to main shopping area and Tamarindo beach!

There was nothing we didn't like! Our only regret was only planning for 2 nights there! Wish we had more time there!

Loved the hotel and staff.

It was such a beautiful little spot, the room was cute and inviting, and the staff was wonderful.

You could hear music pounding from the bar across the street into the morning.

Superb

We really liked our stay at this hotel. Our favorite part was the amazing woman who cooked breakfast everyday. Our family is vegan and she went out of her way to make us special breakfasts like like vegan pancakes and vegan omelets and we also got smoothies every day with breakfast which we loved! The pool was nice but it was in the shade a lot of the day. The location was great as there was restaurants very close and a grocery store right across the street. It is a couple of blocks to the beach, so it would be nicer to be on the water but it wasn't too far. The air conditioning was good and the kitchen was good in our room too. There was a small parking lot right in front of the front desk and had a gate and we were able to park there most days, and a security guard sat in front of the hotel all night. There was also lots of street parking too.

The price seemed expensive compared to the accommodations we had in the first town we visited which was Samara , where the hotel was half the price and was right on the water. I think generally Tamarindo is just a more expensive town. The pull out couch was not comfortable, as a family of 5 we had to use it.

Staying at Ten North was the perfect place to take advantage of all that Tamarindo has to offer.

Ten North was a great intimate hotel, with exceptional staff, and we would definitely return. The location was in the heart of the action. The rooms faced a small pool that provides a change of pace from the busy downtown and beautiful beach. Countless excellent restaurants are within short walking distance. Access to excursions was easy. The hotel offers an optional breakfast, which was also delicious. As a bonus, there was a farmers' market right next door every Saturday. If you want to be in the action, and feel a warm local vibe, this is the place to stay!

The trade-off for being in the central location is the noise level of the surrounding clubs and bars at night. In our rooms, there were noise-cancelling machines and enough soundproofing that it didn't disturb us, but if you're looking for a quiet getaway, this may not be the place for you.

Safe property (night security guard), friendly staff, clean rooms, good location (couple of minutes walking to the beach), nice pool, AC worked well, outside sitting area was pleasant

We had a very nice stay, the only thing is that the town itself can get quite noisy at night.

Super great place

Ten North was a cute little place to stay. Our room was upstairs and the perfect size. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and nice. Good location as we could walk everywhere in Tamarindo. The breakfast in the mornings were amazing, home made right there with smoothies

The skate park noise wasn't bad except for 1 night and the shower had poor pressure but overall a great experience

Location was Fair. Breakfast was poor, compared to other hotels that we stayed at. Beach was nice, as were the Restaurants.
