Eine der besten Unterkünfte auf meiner Weltreise

Die überaus modern eingerichteten Räume im Boho Stil und die Dachterrasse mit eigenem Pool war herausragend. das Personal und die Besitzer waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das einzige, was mich ein wenig gestört hat, waren, dass die Wasserrohre laut sind, aber mit Ohropax, die ich auf meiner Weltreise eh immer bei mir habe ist das kein Problem.

The owners and staff were all extremely helpful and kind. We loved them all! The property had everything we needed for our beach stay. Towels and chairs and lots of suggestions for day trips. The fire pit was lovely to sit around at night with other guests and the owners. On Wednesday and Saturday evenings the chef Marcos made paella on the open fire for all to enjoy it was fabulous we ate it both nights! The pool was a perfect temperature and fun to swim in. The free breakfast was fabulous . A choice of anything on the menu including wonderful coffee expresso drinks. Happy hour every day was also fun. I would recommend this boutique hotel to absolutely everyone! Go stay and enjoy.

Beautiful space and amazing vibes

This hotel is so nice! The rooms are spacious and modern and have huge beds and a big balcony / terrace. The restaurant was really good. They have a paella night a couple nights a week which seems to attract people from across the town. The place had such a nice vibe and felt like a hub for the area. Very short walk to the beach. Highlight is the staff who were so nice, especially Aranza who was so friendly and helpful to us.

The only small thing I don't like is not having a door between the bedroom and the toilet.

Final de ruta perfecto!

Lo mejor el personal del hotel, súper amables, buen trato, familiar, muy buena gente!! Fausto, el propietario, muy amable, nos facilitó contactos muy útiles para hacer actividades durante los días que estuvimos en Cuyo. Hubo un malentendido en la reserva de booking y se solucionó de inmediato. Gracias🙏 Aunque el hotel está en segunda línea de playa, la playa está a 50 metros, muy accesible. Después de 10 días de ruta por Yucatán, uno de los mejores alojamientos✨

No sé si es algo habitual en México, pues nos pasó lo mismo en todos los hoteles que estuvimos, no limpian el baño cada día. Estuvimos 3 noches y no limpiaron ningún día, solo arreglan la cama y limpian un poco el suelo.. eso me ha sorprendido durante el viaje.

Best place to stay in El Cuyo!

The staff was the best and everything else was great too!! The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise!

The only catch was the distance to the town center but as Cuyo will grow, Can Cocal will be "closer" to the center very soon

everything!!! the staff was so kind and helpful. very genuine and caring, I felt like I was home for the week I visited. the beds were the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel! the animals on-site also warmed my heart. don’t hesitate to book as much time as possible here. much love and gratitude to the whole can cocal team!!

the property is beautifully set up and has a great vibe of relaxation.

sometimes there is little water pressure or an electricity outage. but that’s in all of El Cuyo and you get used to it

Charming and comfortable stay close to a fantastic beach

We had a really nice stay at Hotel Can Cocal - El Cuyo is a lovely, remote and secluded place with one of the nicest beaches we've ever been to - the hotel was a good little location to get to the beach from. The room was really nice, a good size, nicely furnished and really comfortable - the inclusion of beach towels and a beach bag was a nice added touch! El Cuyo is quite a remote and pretty under-developed location which is why we liked it so much. That said, the hotel reflects the location so labels such as "boutique" and "luxury" don't really apply but it was perfectly comfortable and the staff were really friendly. Also good to see the hotel has listened to feedback from others, there was a safe in our room, separate bottled water for brushing our teeth and the wifi was generally fine.

The included breakfast wasn't the best especially on one day where they had no eggs. As other guests have noted, there are also no bathroom doors in the rooms which does feel in-keeping with the design but maybe provided a little less privacy than my wife and I were expecting (and we're not particularly shy around each other).

definitely a little gem of a place in El Cuyo

Spacious clean rooms - very comfortable beds would definitely recommend to stay

Property great. staffing needs a little more training. breakfast slow and nothing to write home about and was charged extra though it was supposed to be included

It was very nice and clean, everything new and modern, beautiful environment

It looks like a very good idea to have the bathroom in the room just behind a wall without doors but believe me, it is not :D Even though we know each other very well with my husband we dont need to share some things from the bathroom and we would prefer to have doors in there :D Also, be careful with the water from the tap, it has a very bad taste and even for brushing your teeth there is a bottle of water next to the sink. The stuff didn't speak much English and they don't have menu in English, wi-fi didn't work much

Staff unfortunately extremely unprofessional and incompetent - many mistakes made throughout the stay, which lowered the overall experience satisfaction (incorrect order, missing ingredients non declared, accidentally stolen tshirt, etc)

Best place to stay at El Cuyo 😍

Cosy little hotel at beautiful El Cuyo. Nicely furnished rooms, beautiful chilling areas by the pool, and delicious food served at the restaurant. Sandra and Fausto have been amazing and have helped me in a thousand ways, including the organisation of transfers and tours. Highly recommended 👍😍
