Located on the quiet inlet of Lake Delavan, this (5) bedroom (3) bathroom home captures the beauty and serenity of Southeastern Wisconsin, making it the perfect vacation retreat for summer. Complete with the essential comforts of home, guests will enjoy beautiful hardwood flooring throughout, as well as, new kitchen appliances, beautiful furnishings in the living room and sleeping areas, a private pier, and cable TV and wireless internet service for those guests needing to stay connected while away from home or work.
Enjoy the sunshine and warm weather from either of the two furnished decks located off of the Master suite and entire first floor. Hop in your personal watercraft, or rent one from the boat rental next door, and spend a relaxing day out on the water while you view the sunset. Feel free to park your boat at the dock after you've tired out from all the fun.
We don't recommend swimming close in to the property because the water is murky and shallow, but not too far out from the dock is perfect for swimming. There are also beaches nearby for the kids!

The only hiccup on the whole stay was Keurig was broke but other than place was perfect, big and the AC worked awesome for everyone. Plan is too rent again for next family gathering.

This lakehouse is perfect for a family gathering. Very spacious, beautiful outdoor space for playing games in the yard, sitting on the dock watching boats go by, fishing and barbecuing. I helped my 2-year old grandson catch his first fish off the dock and flew kites with my granddaughter on a breezy day. The view is relaxing and the entire community is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this as a destination for families!

We had a group of friends stay at the house for the weekend. We had a great time cooking out on the grill and cooking breakfast in the kitchen. We used the pier for a ski boat and enjoyed skiing on the lake. One night we visited a bar that’s in walking distance from the house, and we had lunch at pier 290 in lake Geneva (~5-10 minute drive). We enjoyed sitting around the fire at the fire pit in the evenings. The house was well equipped to sleep our group of 8. The kitchen had pots, pans, plates, cups, etc for grilling and cooking. We had a great weekend, thank you!

This house was just perfect! Stayed here with some friends for a weekend and everyone enjoyed it! The house was well stocked with everything you would need. Plenty of beds for everyone and we loved the nice open floorplan! We will most definitely be coming back again. Thanks Carey!

Inside and out, this property has huge and high quality common space, highlighted by the nice sized yard on the water, with wonderful views and just a great summer feel.
In addition, the owner was communicative and really committed to ensuring our group was 100% satisfied. Which we were!

Our stay at this house on Lake Delevan was a wonderful weekend experience for our family of seven adults and four children!
There were so many things to do such as fishing off the piers or watching birds flying around the lake.
The house had plenty of things to do with games and books; also the kitchen was well stocked with utensils so we could cook for ourselves or bring in food from nearby.

Beautiful house on a quiet inlet. Extremely well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Spacious lawn for games for all. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Inlet was perfect for kayaking. Our three-generation group was totally happy with the house.

Carey was great to work with. Very communicative about what to expect. The layout of the house is PERFECT for hosting group of friends. Master bedroom is massive and kitchen was open, clean and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. We also skied at Alpine which was only a 20 minute drive. This house was suited for all our needs and we had a blast! Would return 10/10!

A few friends and I wanted a quick weekend getaway for New Year's Eve and Carey's place was perfect. The home was exactly as described in the listing information and pictures, and Carey was very responsive to anything we needed. The kitchen was also very well appointed, which really came in handy for us making dinner together.
Alpine Valley is only a short drive from the home, so a few of us were able to go ski, and those of us that didn't took the short drive into Lake Geneva to shop and eat.
All in all it was a great place to stay for our group, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Carey's Lake House was the perfect place for a family gathering. From catching bullfrogs to watching movies while sitting around the fire, everyone made memories that will last a lifetime. There was something for everyone from age 2 weeks old to 80+ – most importantly time to get to know one another. We spent several days on the water: kayaking, canoeing, and we rented a pontoon for tubing and swimming (although pontoons could not pick-up on the inlet, we learned you can dock at Lakelawn Resort which is easily walking distance). Renting two lake houses next to each other was ideal – Carey's house (sleeps 11), Kevin's house next door (8), then we had additional family at a nearby hotel, but Carey's house served as home base for all 28 for 11 magical days!

House was very nice, kitchen, family room and view all at once! Nice technology in the house. Lots of outside chairs and a GREAT space in the back yard for games. Nice bathrooms with nice appointments, ie tiny shampoo bottles, soap, plenty of tp etc. Kitchen was nicely appointed also. Could have used more/bigger cutting boards and a toaster instead of toaster oven. In addition to regular coffee pot, there was a Keurig which would is so nice nice for hot chocolate and tea. They have a few kcups but you might want to bring more. Quiet location, Walmart under 2 miles away! Owners were great!

10 of us stayed here for a long weekend and had a great time. The yard if a perfect size for games and the kitchen was very spacious.
Only thing to note is that swimming is actually not allowed on the property per the house rules and signs posted on the property.

Six of us had a great time. The house is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The gas grill is very convenient and we enjoyed eating outside. We enjoyed the open floor plan, the view from the deck and walks through the neighborhood. The location is great – we rented kayaks and a canoe on Lake Geneva and enjoyed an art exhibit in Lake Geneva. We also had a great time at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures.

This was an excellent choice for our 3 family vacation .. beautifully updated open floor plan.. great kitchen!!! Nice size yard with fire pit perfect for making s’mores!!
Loved watching the sunrise every morning.. Location was great .. lots to do nearby.. Beach and shopping in Lake Geneva.. boating on Lake Delavan..fantastic restaurants …Thank you Carey!! We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to book this home again!!!!

Our family of 11 adults had a wonderful weekend at this Delavan Lake destination! It was clean and newly painted outside. The bathrooms upstairs are very large which make them good for sharing. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped just missing a few things that would have made it perfect, but I let Carey know and hopefully he can take care of them.. We loved Delavan Lake which is a good size, lively, and very clean. The house is close to shopping, a bait shop, and a small farm stand selling fresh produce. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that this house is on (what we would call) a channel. We had rented a pontoon boat for 4 days with Carey’s guidance. Carey called me a few days before our weekend to tell me that we couldn’t take the pontoon under the bridge to the cottage. This was very disappointing and changed our whole weekend. The rental place did take the boat in and out everyday for us, but we had no place to dock during the day. We made the best of it, but this really is not a cottage to take a boat. Even if it will fit under the bridge, the docks are in poor shape and it is very shallow. The wetland area across from the cottage is beautiful and peaceful, but it is not the same as being on the lake. We all agreed the house was nice and met our needs except for the boat issue Carey was responsive and we didn’t run into any other problems. Thank you!!

We very much enjoyed this property. Very spacious with nice amenities. We were there with our three adult children and their spouses/partner and three young kids. It all worked out well. The only thing we wish is that the lake was swimmable right on site. We drove from Lake Delavan to a lovely beach (Fontana) on nearby Lake Geneva. (Bottom line, this house is great unless you want to swim. The channel of the lake that it is on is not good for that.)

This was a great property. I found this location for a mini-family reunion. The kitchen and living area is a wonderful wide open space with a ton of natural lighting. The house was clean and well-kept. The wrap around deck was a great place to sit outside and enjoy quality time late into the night. Overall, highly recommend this place for any type of gathering. Walking distance to a few restaurants, close to the beach and gas station.

We rented this clean, beautiful home for a family vacation with our adult children. 10 of us were there and the 5 bedrooms/3 full bathrooms suited us perfectly! We docked our ski boat on the dock and spent some of the days on Delavan Lake (a few minute boat ride through the inlet). A wonderful open floor plan was perfect for our "game nights" and gathering. Everything you will need is there ! Carey was very good with quickly responding to any question we had. We would recommend this lake house to any family for a relaxing get away!

Weekend graduation celebration for our daughter in this home was truly wonderful. Great amenities, open floor plan with kitchen as party center made for a spectacular spot to entertain family and friends. Fishing and boating from the home's dock and pier created the final touch.

We rented the house for my son's wedding. We had family and friends that came from several states. The house is beautiful with an open floor plan and many upgrades. It was extremely clean and has spectacular water views. There is ample parking and outside seating for the size of house. The owner really wants his guests to enjoy his property. He was helpful and answered any question I had quickly. You will find that he has included many little things with the house that make it easy to have a good time. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in the Delavan area.

We stayed at this house for a girls weekend in the end of July. We Honeslty could not have asked for a more perfect spot. The house is absolutely beautiful. It is spacious, clean, and updated. No one could believe it was a lake house. There is a lot of room for parking and outdoor games too. It is close to stores like Walmart, but has a unique ability to feel secluded and cozy. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to keep people comfortable too. I was worried that it would be a bummer to not be able to swim off the docks, but honeslty you do not even notice that. There is tons of lawn and deck space to lounge and enjoy the sunshine. We also were able to book a shuttle from nearby Lake Lawn resort to drive us to and from our chartered boat which we rented from the resort. Such a great idea! Finally, the owner is fantastic. He takes such good care of his house and it shows. He is hospitable and accessible for any questions or concerns. He really wants people to enjoy his place as much as he does. I cannot say enough positive things about this place, and I would highly recommend vacationing here. We cannot wait to come back :)

We enjoyed our stay with friends and family over the New Years Eve weekend. House is very specious and beautiful, warm and cozy upstairs, modern clean kitchen and open first floor plan with great dining area, bar and gaming table that we enjoyed playing poker. Even though the temperatures were freezing cold outside, it was nice and warm inside.
The house is conveniently located within minutes drive to local stores and gas station.
We would definitely recommend this house to even picky vacationers and would love to see how this area looks during summer time, I'm sure it's just as gorgeous.
The owner of the property was very easy to deal and to get in touch with.

My family of eight met in Delavan at this beautiful home for a family vacation. The home could not have been more perfect. First and foremost it is pristine!!! It has a very open floor plan, beautiful hardwood floors, updated kitchen with granite countertops, flat screen TVs, windowns galore, beautiful views...the list goes on and on. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was so nice that we could all fit at the dining table for meals and games. A nice flat front and back yard for playing cornhole, washers, badminton, etc.; beautiful decks and patio area with many chairs and tables for sitting outside. The home is situated on an inlet off Lake Delavan. It was very peaceful and a quick 10 minute kayak ride to the main lake. A public beach and marina are close by. We cooked all of our meals at the house, but there are many options for eating out as well as grocery stores close by. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Geneva which was a quick 10 minute drive. We also visited one of the local wineries and went to a nearby driving range. Everything was close and convenient. The owner was very easy to contact and very interested in making sure we had a wonderful stay. We would love to return!

I stayed at this property with another couple over Labor Day weekend. It is a beautiful, spacious, updated home with many big windows to view the lake. The area is convenient and is close to a strip mall that has a Walmart, Kohl's and several restaurants. The property is also a close drive to Williams Bay and Lake Geneva.
We enjoyed making s'more during the evening in the backyard. The owner is very kind and quick to answer any questions. We had a great time!

Stayed over a snowy winter weekend, so didn't see the town much, but house itself was great. Plenty of room, everything is updated, and awesome downstairs layout with open kitchen, bar area, flat screen, and fireplace. There was 6 of us, but home could've comfortably fit twice that. Definitely recommend.
