We enjoyed our time here!

The view is spectacular and the room is quite spacious. Breakfast was nice and you had a variety of options. WiFi worked well for us! The staff doesn’t speak English but they were helpful and friendly.

We stayed in two rooms during our stay. On the first floor we had better WiFi connection, however the bathroom had a strange smell. The room on the ground floor had a bathroom that didn’t had this smell, however the WiFi connection was weaker.

Great place to stay.

Loved the location. Loved the river view.

The only thing that I found a little disappointing was their organization. I paid the man when I first checked in, and then when I went to check out, there was no record of my payment.

adresse tout à fait correcte pour une ou deux nuits

hébergement à une quinzaine de minutes du centre, vue sur le Mékong où le petit déjeuner est servi sur la terrasse (une boisson et trois éléments au choix :saucisse, pain, œufs, ou fruits )

le lit est très dur, on sent les ressorts les toilettes sont presque à ras le sol

Vue splendide, au calme, belle chambre lumineuse avec grande baie vitrée vue sur la rivière.

Superbe vue sur la rivière. Grande fenêtre de notre chambre vers la belle vue. Grande chambre lumineuse. Petit café et bouteille d eau. Personnel charmant.

La salle de bain était vieillotte. Différentes réparations bricolées.

Blick alleine ist es auch nicht

Die Lage ist traumhaft, der Blick sensationell.

Die Anlage hat den Charme einer sozialistischen Jugendherberge, es ist funktionell und sauber, aber lieblos.bei einer Matraze hat man jede Feder gespürt. Ein paar Holzliegen ohne Auflagen stehen auf Kunstrasen vor dem Gebäude. Es ist für Laos relativ teuer und ich würde nicht nochmal dort übernachten.

Bon hôtel avec vue sur la rivière Nam Ou

Le personnel est très sympathique. Je suis arrivé en bus peu avant le coucher de soleil, le gentil garçon à la réception m'a même proposé de me déposer sur le pont en scooter après mon check-in! La chambre est grande. Le petit-déjeuner à la carte servi en terrasse à la table devant notre chambre avec vue sur la rivière est top pour un réveil tranquille !

Le lit était dur, difficile de bien dormir pour mon gabarit, heureusement la fatigue des bonnes journées aide.

Allright for 1 night

The view from the room is really beautiful.

It is very noisy, you can hear everything. The sheets and towels had stains on them. The bathroom is very old, dirty, rusty and smelly! The shower is very cold in the beginning and after it turns hot, so hot that there is no way you can shower without burning your skin. The price is WAY too high for what you get….

River View was the worst Place we ever stayed! Low Budget is alright, but here the rooms are Dirty and filfthy. Everywhere are dead and living animals. Moult in the bathroom. No warm water, sometimes No electricity. The bed is hard like a Stone. I woke up several times in the Night because of my back pain from the bed. For breakfast you wait 40 to 60 Minutes. I wished we wouldnt had to stay here.

Simple but nice , quiet and a beatiful view.

Wonderful view over the river. We stayed in de front- house but also the rooms in the building had a beautiful view. Location is quiet and a little bit outside but you can walk easily to the village and there is a small restaurant very nearby.

Don't expect too much, it is simple but sufficient.

Breakfast was served on the deck which was really nice. You’re able to walk down to the river and swim with the locals.

The location isn’t central (we should’ve researched more). It’s about a 15 minute walk to the centre over the other side of the bridge. The power went out every couple of hours throughout the day and night so the air conditioning turned off every time unless you manually turned it back on.

Pretty nice place to stay. little outside. But breakfast was nice and the rooms very clean and nice. THe Balcony was perfect for watching sunsets and to work from.

Morning view from the window was the best. This guesthouse is quite far from bridge, where all the cafes/bars are located, thus the place is peaceful and quiet

Location was a bit out of the way, but not too far.

Bad

I cannot judge the quality of the guesthouse itself. We had a reservation, but it got lost by the guesthouse. When we arrived, it was fully booked and we had to look for an alternative ourselves. Very unpleasant experience, because most of other guesthouses very full as well.

Nice rooms with a river view. Nong Khiaw is fairly small so everything is on walking distance. The breakfast was good
