This is a fabulous property with amazing views, staff and a lovely pool but the hill is very steep.

The setting for this accommodation is great with fabulous views. The public areas are maintained to a really high standard, the pool is really lovely and the sunbeds good quality. The poolside bar and snack area are a nice option. The staff are are super friendly and cleaning takes place every day.

We knew in advance the property is located up a hill but did not realise just how steep the hill is. You can get a taxi home from the town if you wish but we preferred to walk after dinner, but it is a tough walk for children. And even more tough when coming home from the supermarket which is at the bottom of the hill. The 2 bed apartment is spotlessly clean but quite dated in decor and there are not enough utensils, but this will not ruin your stay.

We had a fabulous stay and the staff were lovely.

The property was immaculate, the pool area kept very clean by the staff the room was well equipped lovely property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It’s not I didn’t like it but the bathroom was very small. Had everything we needed though.

The most magical destination, stunning island!

The views are amazing, the property was perfectly clean, pool area lovely, very comfy sun beds, rooms more modern than appeared photos previously.

The only negative was the large hill to walk up to get to the accommodation. On the brightside, felt much fitter by the end of the week. Also it is very easy to get taxis.

Great view from the balcony! Friendly and helpful family that runs the establishment.

The location was great, though the hill seemed quite steep after a night out in town! It was also nice to have a small bar/restaurant on the property.

The race for pool chairs! Chairs were 'booked' with towels early morning and then the owners only pitched after lunch. Would suggest a sign to indicate a 'no-booking' policy.

Great view, beautiful accommodation and friendly hosts

Mike and family are great and have a stunning facillity with great view and pool. Rooms are clean, comfortable and aircon great. Good value for money.

Other guest (British Tourists) get up at the crack of dawn and reserve ALL the sun loungers around the pool with their towels...then go back to bed and only start occupying the beds at 10h30-11h00. Not fair to others who also paid and travelled from far...who want to go out for the day but perhaps wanted to sunbathe for an hour or so in the morning. Strongly suggest thos tobe managed - perhaps as I have seen at other eatablishments....with a notice stating if a bed ia unoccupied for more than 20-30minutes, the belongings will be removed and the bed made available for use to other guests.

I recommend this place to everyone who wants a nice place to stay at Skiathos for a good price

The location is super, very nice wiev on the center and the sea, near the airport. The owner was very friendly, nice to talk, very helpful with information I needed. They served very good gyros and frappe. It is highly recommended that you have a car or a scooter - they have a private parking

My bed was a little bit too hard. The nearest beach is a little bit far away but just if you have to walk, if you have a car or a scooter this is no problem.

Wonderful

This hotel was so beautiful to stay at - more than happy with our stay! The family running the hotel, especially Michael, were so welcoming and lovely. The photos on booking.com don’t do this place justice, the decor is lovely and pool area is very relaxing. The sun beds were so comfortable - we would love to come back and stay one day!

This hotel exceeded our expectations - the views are absolutely beautiful from your balcony and the pools area. My only pointer would be the breakfast wasn’t great for the price and be wary of the hill going down to the town if you have any troubles or young children as it is a trek. But the location is great and we fell in love with Skiathos. Taxi was also easy to get back. Hope to be back soon!

Fabulous Holiday 💙🇬🇷

We loved everything about Blue Horizon. Mike is such a lovely approachable fella, who is not in your face but always happy to help when you need it. rooms were very clean and light and airy. we liked it so much we are returning next year 💙🇬🇷

The hill/walk up is not that long but part of it is so steep! but as we said without that hill you would not get the most amazing views - simply stunning. if you have mobility problems it’s not for you. Sense of achievement when you do get back 😂😅.

Traditional Greek stay

A nice sized hotel (only about 16 rooms), good views, only a 10 min walk into the town, room was cleaned 6 times a week, bus stop a 5 min walk away to get around the island, the pool bar was nice when relaxing by the pool serving food and drink
