Muy acogedor y cerca del centro

La ubicación es espléndida para un viaje en grupo de amigos. Cerca del ocio nocturno y de las zonas de turismo cultural. La estética del apartamento era muy bonita, muy acogedora. La ducha funcionaba perfectamente, con agua y temperatura regulables ideal para una ducha después de un día en Madrid. La experiencia fue muy buena, lo valoramos positivamente.

Tiene 1 habitación con 1 cama de matrimonio y un altillo con otra cama doble. Después hay un sofá cama en el comedor. Éramos 6 personas pero no nos montaron el sofá cama y a las almohadas les faltaba relleno. Me ha parecido que el apartamento está pensado para 2 personas por tener solo 1 habitación y han querido explotar el resto de espacios del apartamento.

An Excitjng Stay in Madrid

We really love the location. It is close to the Sol metro station and there are many bars and restaurants nearby. The Sol square was full of people all the time, so there was a very festive feeling there, in the center of action. The location is also between the three famous museums on the east side and the Palace on the west side, so it is easy to walk to the sights from this central location. There is a full kitchen and a washing machine. We were able to do our laundry while there and laundry detergent was provided. The beds were comfortable too. There are also some basic kitchen ingredients such as oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, which we really appreciate. There is a grocery stores nearby so shopping for food was very convenient.

The hot water ran out after one person’s use, so the second person took a lukewarm shower right after. We soon learned that the second person needs to wait a longer interval to take a shower to have enough hot water. There is no dryer to be found as described. The window is covered with heavy curtains so there is no daylight coming in, but we’re fine with it as it is winter anyway. I would recommend that some tissues and more hangers can be provided and perhaps some English instructions on how to use the washing machine ( it is different from the American type).

Buena ubicación - Mala comunicación

El apartamento tiene una excelente ubicación. Las escaleras del Mezanine pueden ser un poco peligrosas. La mesa del comedor es un poco incomoda. Nos topamos a la señora de limpieza y fue muy amable.

La información para el Check in la brindaron menos de 2 horas antes del ingreso lo cual nos preocupó mucho porque no respondieron por ningún medio cuando los contactamos desde 2 días antes y llegamos a pensar que nos había cancelado sin avisarnos. Durante nuestra estadía los vecinos con niños hicieron demasiado ruido hasta las 11pm - 12mn.

Mediocre overall

Great location and easy check-in to the apartment with codes.

No AC. The bathroom door would get stuck and not open after several tries. No iron. No contact with the host after the check-in. Slow Wifi.

Perfect for a few days in Madrid. We only slept there and so this suited us as we were out all day and night.

The property was perfectly situated in the area of Sol, Madrid. Within easy walking distance to many bars, cafes, and restaurants. It is within walking distance to the Palace and parks. Couldn’t get a better location. The bathroom and kitchen is VERY clean. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness.

HOWEVER, this apartment has been renovated to fit in as much as they can to accommodate another bedroom, which is up a steep mezzanine flight of open stairs. The bedroom is open plan and one can look over the balcony to see the living room below. This is not for the elderly adults, or children, or someone who has a small fear of this type of sleeping arrangement. There are NO windows for fresh air in the property except for a very ugly window overlooking into the interior of the building but it does not circulate air. It would be very very hot in summer as no air con. Only fans. Please provide a dish towel to wipe our dishes with when we have washed them. Also the pillows are terrible.
