I liked this little motel since it was in a decent neighborhood however, the road noise on Lake Tahoe Blvd was intense, so much so that we found ear plugs on the night stand and it woke us up every morning. Also, the hot tub needs to be cleaned; no way I was getting into it.

The room itself was adorable. It had everything I needed. I was in the room closest to the road, which made the noise intolerable, even after taking the a/c hose out of the window and lining the window with thick pillows. The traffic didn't quiet down until 11:30 at night and started up at 5:30am. The outside could use a little sprucing up. Felt like on a desert with tumbleweeds rolling by.

This place is a refurbished old rundown motel with no staff on site. The parking lot was open to anyone. The air conditioning was a dryer vent that was attached to the window. The room was literally on Tahoe Blvd. with no option to even close the window. They did supply earplugs, but that was as accommodating as it got. The buildings surrounding it were all boarded up. Not a place we will ever return to.

The inn was really cute and clean, however, the fan on the ceiling was quite dirty and dusty. Also, the dumpster outside was over flown. Another thing walls are pretty thin, you can hear your neighbors conversations.

Mountain Inn was a nice overnight stay. We booked pretty last minute and it was about the cheapest option left for all hotel options in the area. We stayed in the Signature Room which was very small but perfect for just the night. We even brought our two bikes as we were doing a bike ride the following morning and they fit in the room just fine in the closet area. I read reviews prior to booking and lots of people had mentioned the room being extremely warm (during July/summertime). We were on the fence about bringing our AC fan and didn’t but I really wished we did as the room was extremely warm. We opened the two windows and doors to try and cool the room down but it didn’t cool down until around 3am (woke up many times during the night as it was so muggy). They provided a small AC machine which was a nice touch but didn’t do much. A swivel fan was also provided but it was just blowing around the same warm air. We were hoping to leave the windows open all night but the noise from the road was also keeping us up. Despite the warm temperatures we really enjoyed our stay. The room could have been cleaned a little better but for the night it was fine. The check in process was so easy and it was nice to receive emails with all instructions about the check-in/check-out process. A very cute place, however if you are hoping for something a little more lux and comfortable this place might not be for you. Bring a fan if you plan on going in the summer ;)

Room is very clean, well renovated. Road noise is ok if you close the door and the window. Ventilation is a bit challenging due to no AC in summer. Please bring a box fan to cool room down. Sound proofing is mediocre. Overall a good value for the money, we are happy with our choice. We booked 2 rooms, number 6 is big comfort room with range hood and induction cooker room number 6. The 2nd room (unit number 8) we booked did not have a full kitchen, a bit small.

Perfect little crash pad. Seamless experience.

Hotel confirmed everything in advance provided all codes and passwords. Only problem was no hot water. I left at 4:00 am so no time for host to fix.

Darling, cozy room with added personal touches that made our stay very enjoyable. (Febreeze in the bathroom, microwave popcorn, white noise machine hand soap dispensers)
Loved that the coffee offered was from a local roaster-Bare Roots! The location was a good midtown spot close to everything, the river, bike path, restaurants and lake.
Only drawback would be the road noise as it’s right on HWY 50, however, earplugs where provides. Again, personal touches that made our stay very enjoyable!

Clean and nicely renovated. A little loud with the cars racing by but okay. Friendly staff and prompt to reply with any needs.

Nice little place, it was small by cozy . The price was good. Place was clean. It was plus’s no carpet, because with the snow, carpet start smelling. We drop some sand on the floor, so I would have been nice a small broom to clean.

The location and amenities that Tahoe Mountain Inn provides is great. The heater worked great, the bathroom was clean, and parking one vehicle wasn’t an issue. Will book again! Thanks for having us.

It was so cozy and quiet. I loved the self checkin and the comfort of the bed. The gas heater was so beautiful and kept us warm all night. Only issue was the walls were kinda thin but despite this the other guests were quiet and respectful. I recommend it at this price point for sure!

Was an overall good spot, however I wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone when I was trying to reach the customer service. Would have given it 5 stars otherwise.

Pros:
Everything is clean!
Dog friendly!
Fridge is larger than normal and freezer actually freezes
Room has a cute fireplace! It's the only heat, but does really heat the room up nicely
Cons
Room 1 is right up against the road, its very noisy, and the walls are thin - they know this, and the room comes with earplugs.
Room does not come with stove or utensils, just a small microwave and freezer and a bar sink.
Bed does not feel like it's a queen. Maybe because one side is shoved against the wall. Made it hard to have two people and a dog in the bed.
the final con was that there wasnt any good place to take the dog out to do her business. Most every place was covered in ice and snow, so that was a little hard.
I'd totally stay here if I were by myself, but two people and a dog was a little much in the tiny room.

This hotel was nice inside and generally comfortable. However, we won’t be returning because the walls are extremely thin and it’s very loud. (Even with the white noise machine) It’s close to the main highway as well. I didn’t realize there isn’t any front desk, so there was a couple charging their car from the room and being very loud. It was strange.

This was the best place we stayed at for our trip this new years weekend! They sent me my room number with the door code and that was it. So easy and convenient! Plus it was Nextdoor to the venue we were going to!

Was a very cute small room, with lots of amenities for our 1 night. We were in #1 could hear all the cars passing but was fine.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this property! The room felt recently renovated with stylish decor, new appliances, and thoughtful touches. Check-in was easy and contactless. We used the hot tub and found it clean and pretty great after a long day hiking. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to friends.

A quaint retro experience with current amenities. It was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the ambiance of the gas fireplace.
The room was small, but perfectly sized for two older people.
The interesting experience was everything was completed online. There is no lobby or attendant. We were asked to take all our trash to the convenient small dumpster.
We would return if in the area.

The room was clean and comfortable but smaller than I thought it would be. We did not use the hot tub

Cleaning lady was very polite and respectful. Room temperature was very uncomfortable .
2.0 / 10.0
No front desk, tiny room, poor quality mattress, parking lot tall weed ridden, broken up asphalt. No air conditioning
2.0 / 10.0
There is no AC and it was close to 100 degrees in the room when we arrived. The fan wasn’t working. Opening the window didn’t really help and hotel is right on the highway and super loud. There is no front desk and when we called the hotel staff they were not helpful at all.

Tahoe Mountain Inn was the perfect spot for our visit. The price & room has everything we needed. The only downside is the road noise if you are a light sleeper, but they provided ear plugs. We recommend short walks to the Off the Hook sushi & Bare Roots coffee.

Very cute modern mountain designed rooms! The fireplace kept us warm with a cozy touch. The hot tub was very relaxing. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. They even left us some craft coffee and popcorn! Great central location with bars and restaurants in walking distance. I will definitely come back and stay again! Highly recommend!

Walls are paper thin. Very loud property even if in unit away from road. Parking situation is very difficult. Loud dive bar next door with a lot of unhoused folks walking through the property. Bathroom had dirty towels under sink. Heat didn’t work. Hot tub is broken and appears to have been for long time. No property person on site at any time if you have issues, no one responds to messages left on phone number. Room was cute but not worth the other issues the property has.
