Why St. Croix? We have traveled to many of the Caribbean Islands before deciding on our favorite of St. Croix (STX). We were drawn to this U.S. Territory for many reasons. (No passport needed for U. S. Citizens). STX is the largest of the three U.S. Virgin Islands and fortunately the least "touristy". Yet, one can take a short ride on a seaplane in Christiansted Harbor or a new ferry boat service out of Gallows Bay Marina to the busy & popular island of St. Thomas any day of the week. From there, you can travel on a ferry boat from Red Hook Marina to exclusive St. John or even further to the British Virgin Islands. These sister islands are less than 40 miles away and visible to the naked eye from Villa Bliss on clear sky days and nights. All of the natural beauty is obvious at first glance at those turquoise and cobalt blue clear and sparkling waters surrounding this very special spot on the planet. The clear, light blue skies by day and spectacular starry skies at night are quite mesmerizing, too. We have often said that there are "50 Shades Of Blue" visible from Villa Bliss. Rainbows and Shooting stars are common sightings In the islands. Paradise can be found on earth, if you know where to look. Look no further.
Villa Bliss offers resort type vacationing, while perfectly nestled on two generous and private acres. This gentle hillside location is just 175 feet above Teague Bay Beach on the popular and desirable East End of the island. From here, you will have a full view of the country's first Nationally Protected Marine Park & Reef of "Buck Island". Also, in the turquoise Caribbean waters you can watch sailboats bobbing at the St. Croix Yacht Club just to the East. Captain Llewelyn will take up to six guests on a private chartered catamaran sailing without a motor from the nearby Yacht Club. You will enjoy privacy and the wide open spaces with only a few other villas visible. One of the most talked about villas on St. Croix is the $10,000,000. "Contessa's Castle". This, too, is a very prominent part of the view from Villa Bliss. As if all of this beauty wasn’t enough, we also have a sweeping golf course view of “The Reef” 9 hole course located just across the street. A crescent shaped neighborhood beach is within a very short walking distance, as is one of St. Croix’s very best restaurant, the well established and popular seaside Duggan's Reef Restaurant & Bar opens at 5:30 PM for dinner and drinks. 10:00 AM for their famoThey are known for their delicious Caribbean lobster dishes and mouth-watering steaks. We recommend making reservations especially in the high season. This envious location offers so much and is an easy 15 - 20 minute drive into Historic Christiansted Town.

Lustrous Iridescent Cobalt Blue Glass Tile sparkles in the Sunlight and surrounds the swimming pool. The tile installation is very unique with the glass tile not only being all around the pool top, but up & over the two outer edges for a "faux infinity edge" design. You will find the Pool Terrace pleasing with Natural Stone Coraline tile flooring. This is the place that will call you to be day and night with abundant outdoor living spaces. Here you will find a comfy new outdoor sectional sofa with plenty of seating, a dining area with new table and chairs for 6, a separate raised bar and 4 barstools, Weber gas grill, two double chaise loungers for sunning under endless days of sunshine and star gazing beneath a blanket of starry, starry skies. Villa Bliss is true to its name. It was a absolutely perfect 🥰 place to stay with my husband, my baby, and my two older children. We had so much amazing family time. Both the owner and property manager are absolute earth angels! Both of them checked in throughout our stay and I just loved all of my interactions with them. If you are considering this home, consider no more! Book it and fall in love ❤️, you wont regret it.

This 2 bedroom, 2 en-suite bathroom home was perfect for 2 couples. The split bedroom design ensures privacy. The pool area is fabulous! The outdoor furniture is swanky. Loved using the grill. Millie, the property manager, is the easiest, most attentive host I’ve ever met! Enjoyed exploring the island.

The owner was so responsive and kind, and the property had fantastic views, charming decoration, and was well stocked with everything you could want. We stayed in St Thomas and St Croix and would encourage anyone to skip St Thomas and just come here instead. What a nice, relaxing stay. Thank you!

Villa Bliss is in a great location. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. Lots of options to enjoy nature and the outdoors. Saw lots of wildlife, including four deer that visited every day (often twice a day). Duggans was amazing - had three great dinners there and very convenient! Buck Island is a must do as well as Point Udall. The communication was outstanding as well! Highly recommend staying here!

Villa Bliss was the perfect home for our vacay - 2 sisters and their lucky spouses! Communication with the owner was prompt and she went above and beyond with recommendations and suggestions to make sure we ate and explored all that St. Croix has to offer. The outdoor space is AH-mazing! Not only is the pool as perfect as the pictures show, we also loved the side patio with the hammock and the front-door patio where we enjoyed eating breakfast and watching hummingbirds. The only reason I marked a 4 for "accuracy of listing" is that the entire home does not have air conditioning. Coming from the states, I expected central air, but the living room and kitchen are not air conditioned and it got quite warm in there, especially when we cooked. The bedrooms were nice and cool with mini splits and the beds are so fluffy and comfortable. This home also has all the amenities you could ever dream of....fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs and towels, fins for snorkeling, sunscreen, books, games....I could go on forever! 😊 There is a perfect view of Buck Island from the pool deck and several mornings there were deer in the front yard. This home truly offers everything!

This property was wonderful. Waking up to the views every morning was easy to get used to. The East End of the island is a little more rural but close enough to town for whatever you would need. Don’t miss an excursion to Buck Island and the Biobay.

Fantastic week at villa bliss. Trade winds, ocean views and relaxing time had by all. Heavenly breeze, blue everywhere, the sound of the waves on the reef, the pool was perfect. The beds are very comfortable and detail for decorations for the house & the garden lights was great. Loved the hammock! Will be back next year!!!!!

This was our 2nd trip to Villa Bliss. And again, we were extremely satisfied. We came back for rest/relaxation, and that's exactly what we enjoyed. We wanted poolside with a view and received poolside with a view! Sips of coffee overlooking Buck Island did not get old! The pool with its beauty was enough to spend the entire day searching for rainbows - we spotted a big one! Seafood was amazing with the local restaurants serving their daily catch of the day. You will not be let down with this house and scenery. Owners (Vicky) are OMG incredible! Book this....you won't regret it!

I have rented numerous homes over the years and Villa Bliss is by far the most fantastic home I have ever stayed in. The decor is UNFORGETTABLE. The views are UNFORGETTABLE. The stars at night are UNFORGETTABLE. If you are like me and live the stressed overworked lifestyle, this is the vacation for you! You will forget any due dates, challenges or stressors. This is where you come to rest, rejuvenate and be completely relaxed!

I wasn’t sure what to except coming to ST croix for the first time. I am now looking for property and in love. Villa Bliss spoiled us with everything you could ask for. The views are unreal during the day and at night the stars are glorious! We didn’t think we would use the swing area but that actually was one of our favorite spots. It was in the perfect location on the island! The host was wonderful, going above and beyond before our stay all through-out. Don’t hesitate- this is the right place and the right decision.

We really enjoyed the pool day and night it’s a great pool and temperature was perfect! There are several fabulous outdoor areas. We enjoyed cocktails on the swings and when it rained we played tic-tac-toe on the front porch which has very comfortable seating. I’m a chef and the kitchen was well equipped. We were there in October and it was 90° and it was hot in the house I’m sure in the winter months it’s probably not bad but the bedrooms have air condition so sleeping was comfortable. There is a great breeze and fans in the house but when cooking it was extremely warm but we always had the pool to cool us off. You never get tired of the amazing view of Buck Island and the location is perfect! Communication with the host was excellent she even let us know when there was something to look out for in the night sky! The only con I have is the windows in the bedrooms and bathrooms are dated and when the wind blows especially in a storm it’s pretty noisy. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay at Villa Bliss

Villa Bliss has everything you would need for a fun, relaxing stay in St. Croix. The house is perfectly set up for 2 couples; each room is spacious, has a private bathroom and shower, and has great seaside views. The best part of the house is the view from the front living room and pool deck which faces straight out to Buck Island. There is a private gated driveway that leads up to the house. Our group loved every minute of our stay and did not want to leave. Vicky was extremely helpful and quickly answered any questions we had. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to going back.

All communications with owner/manager were easy, warm, gracious & welcoming. Questions were answered immediately. House is super comfortable & everything we needed to cook meals or lounge around house all day, or borrow stuff for a day at the beach was available. Great decks with AMAZING Views & Breezes, large fantastic pool, with easy access in & out of a safe & cool neighborhood. Recommend renting a jeep. Thanks for everything Vicky!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Bliss with our 16 year old daughter. The views are even better than the photos show! What a beautiful spot on St Croix. The villa has everything you need with lots of personal touches. We felt like guests in a loved home more than just renters. We loved all the places to sit outside - poolside, the outdoor kitchen bar, and on the covered side porch (the hammock was my favorite). We appreciated the driveway gate as well and felt very secure. Also thankful for the bedroom AC units since it was early August. There was a nice breeze and lots of fans so the living areas weren't too hot. The only thing I would do differently is rent a jeep. We had a regular car and It was a bit of a drive to the west side the island. We will still got around the whole island for daily adventures (Big Beards Sail Snorkel, Virgin Kayak night kayak to see the bioluminescence, rainforest ATV, tidal pools hike, and many beaches). It was always wonderful to come home to the beautiful pool! The villa has all you need to cook and grill, though we prefer to eat out on vacation. Recommend Duggan's Reef and Salt Great Pond on the east end. Or Castaways for casual. Overall, St Croix has great dining options.
Our trip was made even better by our amazing host! Vicky is wonderful and communicated regularly with tips before and during our trip. We fell in love with St Croix and would highly recommend Villa Bliss!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Bliss. The villa was updated beautifully. The entire area has been updated inside and out. The view of the ocean and Buck Island over our own private pool was amazing. I would recommend to anybody to stay here. The owner and general manager always responded quickly to text for anything that we needed. Thank you!!

Villa Bliss exceeded all expectations. The views are even better than the pictures. There are so many outdoor living and sitting spaces you can’t even use them all. Our favorites were the hammock out front (constant cooling breezes) or back by the pool. The pool is amazing with direct Caribbean views. The home is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable inside and every kitchen amenity is there for your use.
Even in late June, if you keep the windows open, you don’t absolutely need the AC units (though we did use them a few times).
I preferred the East End of the island because it is a little more isolated. Still, there were enough food options around for what we needed. Duggans Reef was good and the Yacht Club had a nice lunch after our snorkeling excursion.
Excursions included Llewelyn’s half day snorkel trip (instead of doing a larger boat with 50 people), bioluminescent night kayak ride (highly recommend), sunset cruise and jeep guided tour of tidal pools. All were great!
Vicky and Donna were always responsive with recommendations as well.
Highly recommend Villa Bliss! Our family is so glad we stayed here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Bliss. The house was clean and well stocked. The view was breathtaking and the location was convenient for food and supplies. The grounds were well kept. We spent lots of time in the outside seating areas and the pool was perfect for a daily dip/swim. The owner (lovely woman) and property manager were very responsive and helpful. We hope to stay there again in the future. Sure hated to leave!
