Stay on the 20 acre property and cast a line in the fishing ponds, take a hike around the 2 trails, and head to the on-site gun range (bring your own guns/ammo), or hop in the car and drive under an hour to Cumberland Falls! -- THE PROPERTY -- Youtube TV | 20 Acres | Electric Fireplace Bedroom: King Bed | Loft: 2 Queen Beds Switch into vacation mode as you walk past the front wooden porch and step onto the hardwood floors of this beautifully furnished Kentucky getaway. 'Fox Run' is nestled on a 20-acre plot of land and overlooks 2 small fishing ponds, features 2 hiking trails each 2 miles long, and hasd a fully functional farm next door! Start the day by sipping a hot cup of coffee on the back porch while gazing out at the cattle wandering through the land. When you start to get hungry, step back inside to prepare a hearty breakfast for yourself in the well-equipped kitchen outfitted with a 4-burner electric stovetop, granite countertops, wooden cabinetry and a 4-person dining table. On your leisure days, turn on your favorite show with the flat-screen satellite TV and relax on the 2-person leather couch in the living room, while the electric fireplace keeps you warm. The great room features tall vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden accents and plenty of natural lighting. Make memories with your loved ones by cooking up your freshly caught fish with your loved ones for dinner! Play a game of table checkers when you're finished with your meal, or go for a relaxing evening walk while you digest dinner. Clean any dirty laundry you have using the in-unit laundry machines located next to the spiral staircase. Finish off the night by preparing a bonfire at the outdoor fire pit and exchanging highlights of the day with your travel companions! When you start to feel drowsy, retire for the night to the bedroom's king bed and watch the flat-screen satellite TV before drifting asleep. The upstairs loft with 2 comfortable queen beds is perfect for 4 additional guests! -- THE LOCATION -- 'Fox Run' rests along the route of many local races that take place throughout the year. The 'Redbud Bike Ride' racers pedal their way past the cabin every year at the end of April. The Rugged Red Trail Half Marathon is another local event that draws thousands to the area. Cumberland Falls State Park is about a 51-minute drive from the house and is a beautiful place to spend a day enjoying nature! Set up a picnic by the falls or take a hike along one of the many local trails. The Levi Jackson State Park is 25 minutes away and boasts great hiking trails, a Tree Top Adventure area, a reproduction grist mill, miniature golf and a public swimming pool for you to enjoy. The Mountain Museum with a pioneer settlement is open on Fridays and Saturdays and is always a hit with the kids!
