This home lives up to all the positive reviews. Impeccably clean, convenient, beautifully decorated and efficiently equipped with everything one could need. The owners have thought through well all the needs of their guests. They are great communicators and very ethical. I'm grateful to have found this place.

Everything one could possibly need is in this charming, spotless house. Its location within 25 minutes to an hour to attractions and beaches is a bonus. It's nice to walk to the commuter train to visit Boston without the hassles of parking there

This place was perfect for me. It was absolutely adorable and so bright and cheery! It had everything I needed (and more). There was plenty of space, the property was quiet and private (and had lots of birds and butterflies). It had everything that was mentioned in the description. I couldn't have been more pleased. It was also within a central location for driving to all of the major attractions (Jamestown, Newport, Providence). After a long day of sightseeing or beachgoing, I was able to come home and relax and have a quiet evening.
The host also provided me with the information I needed prior to my stay. And thanks to another reviewer, I was able to pick up food items at Dave's Marketplace. I was very pleased with my stay. I highly recommend this rental.

We loved having this sweet little house to ourselves. It was immaculate and the host ran the AC for us upon arrival after a hot travel day!
Highlights:
-washer/dryer
-personal back patio
-keypad entry (no keeping up with keys)
-comfy bed & cozy blankets
-well equipped kitchen
Only downside was the loud train next door running late into the night and early mornings. Be prepared, it’s incredibly loud and shakes the house for up to 10 seconds. Doesn’t last long but can disrupt sleep.
Overall, incredible stay and would be happy to stay here again.

Very warm & inviting. The trains are absolutely no big deal. Like other reviews, they’re gone in seconds. Actually really neat how fast they travel. Close to pretty much everything. 20 minutes to Newport, Narragansett & Point Judith. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely time! It was a good central location between providence and Newport! It was clean, well stocked, and a perfect size for a short weekend.

We really enjoyed the house. Since we wanted to visit both Providence and Block Island, the central location was great. The train is close and somewhat loud, but it goes by quickly. We did not hear a train between 11 PM and 6 AM during our visit.

Perfect location and close to Wickford village. Great for us , as we were artists at the Wickford Art show. Super clean, organized and had all the extras. Bed was super comfortable too. Train goes by and it’s literally next to the home. So be ready for a little shake rattle n roll. But it does not run all night and starts up around 6 am. Amtrak commuter train. So it’s off n on all day. But the house has a train station vibe , so it goes along with it. We will book again for sure. Thanks so much!

Wow! What a lovely getaway from our daily life. This house has all of the amenities of home (and then some). The house is exactly as described and as pictured. Comfortable beds and that clawfoot tub is what dreams are made of! We were a little concerned by the train being so close, but it was absolutely no problem! The moment you heard it coming it was already gone, so no inconvenience here! We loved how close it was to town while feeling like it was a little out of the way. It’s very central to the shopping and a pleasant drive to Newport and the beach. The host communicated everything thoroughly. We will definitely choose this place for our next stay in Rhode Island!

My wife and I eloped to Rhode Island and this place was perfect! Easy driving distance to both Providence and Newport. Highly recommend!

Very cute little house!!

We really loved this place, including the occasional trains cruising by (we didn’t find them disruptive at all)! The house had everything that we needed and provided a great place to relax before heading out each morning and upon retuning each evening after spending time with family at our favorite RI spots. It wasn’t a problem for us, but be aware that the bedrooms and full bath are up a pretty steep staircase. We hope to stay here again the next time we return to RI!

Recommended! Cute and clean house, just right for our family of 3. I can confirm that the Amtrak/Acela trains do *not* run overnight, and we actually enjoyed having them whoosh by from time to time.

This adorable house is perfect for anyone visiting Rhode Island! Location is great and the house is so well kept and inviting! House is fully equipped for all things dining in, comfortable lounging area and the beds were so comfortable! We actually loved the train being right there! It was so neat to watch and didn’t bother us at all- it’s not like one that blows their horn the whole way- just a speed train that zips by!
We have family in Cranston and stayed here with easy access to anywhere!
Plenty of eateries (Filipous is amazing!) and stores like Walmart, CVS are convenient to the house.
Host was always responding when needed! Very professional!
Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we will be back!!

loved the new and freshly renovated home. Very clean and comfortable place to stay near to New Port RI. I would recommend staying at this home . The only drawback was the sound of the train every so often.

The place is beautiful! They did a fabulous job renovating it. Very well stocked. The one problem is the train tracks behind the property…almost in the back yard. Trains ran all day; thank goodness it didn’t run at night.

This is one of the nicer home rentals that we've stayed in, and we rented a lot around the world. No matter what room you're in, you are surrounded by beautiful craftsmanship and design. Of course, it was cleaner than clean and stocked with plenty of linens for kitchen and bedroom. The half bath downstairs was convenient with the full bath and clawfoot tub upstairs. Everything is modern and yet, full of character. The location was perfect for us being 30 minutes from Providence and 30 minutes from Newport. Lots of shopping and eating opportunities just down the road in historic Wickford or up the road at Walmart, CVS, and restaurants. We wish we had discovered Dave's our first day for a huge selection of heat and eat entrees. We got a kick out of being next to the train tracks. They mostly zoom through like a fast wind that lasts maybe 3 seconds (I counted). If they went through at night, we didn't hear them, or we were sleeping too soundly in the comfortable bed. The host was super responsive to everything. There was not one thing we could complain about, and we would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place for a long weekend! The house is beautiful and comfortable! It was stocked with everything we needed: kitchen supplies, toiletries, extra towels, and blankets. It was cool hearing the trains go by but it never happened too late at night! The host was available for everything we needed and was very kind and helpful! All the thought and care put into the Wickford Junction House made it feel like home for the weekend!

What an amazing property! We pulled into the large parking area. The property was renovated in 2022 and the work was beautifully completed. The living room had a comfy sofa, fireplace, and large TV. The cubby under the stairs was cozy (I fell asleep in the cubby). The kitchen had all of the necessities and was spotless. The first floor also had a nicely renovated 1/2 bath. Upstairs was an area with a small sofa and twin bed. There was also a full size washer and dryer. It was nice to drive home with a suitcase of clean clothes. The primary bedroom had a very nice bed and mattress. My husband has had 3 neck surgeries and actually commented that he slept extremely well. There is an inviting claw foot tub in the main bath and a walk in shower. Very nice finishes throughout. The property is next to a train station, but it didn’t bother any of us. When I return to the area, I will definitely stay here again! I’ve stayed in hotels in the area and this was a very welcome change and upgrade… and at a decreased price! Loved it!!!

This little house is so cute! Everything is new inside and out. Everything worked perfectly. It was fun hearing the Amtrak Acela trains go by! Hosts were very accommodating of our needs!

Quaint and very clean. My wife and I got a kick out of the occasional trains zooming by and feeling the vibrations sent through the house. Enjoyed our stay and looking forward to returning next year.

This home is a cozy getaway in an excellent location.
Historic Wickford Village is just down the road. There are excellent restaurants in nearby Warwick, and any shopping you need to do is nearby from box stores to antique shops.

The house is well kept and very clean. Although next to fast passing train, it did not present any problem. Close to shopping/grocery stores. Would stay there again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Location and accommodations were perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

The Junction House provided our small family with a very comfortable place to stay for a weekend wedding. The house was thoughtfully equipped with all of the essentials as well as some extras that were appreciated like extra blankets. The occasional passing train didn’t pose a challenge for us at all, however, a stronger WiFi signal would have made our 26 year old much happier. I recommend The Junction House and will consider booking return visits in the future.

Wonderfully appointed and very clean home. It was close to anything we wanted to do and was so very comfortable. My husband and I really felt at home and enjoyed the house, as it had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi connection was spotty, but overall I would highly recommend this location. Thank you for the excellent property!

We stayed in North Kingston to visit our daughter in school during family weekend. The location was perfect and the house allowed us to spend quality time with her. I would stay here again!
5.0
The house is beautiful, clean, feels larger then it looks and is within 15-20mins of many site seeing areas. Its overall quiet with the exception of the occasional train passing by. The only small issue we had was the wifi signal is spotty became a minor problem when my girlfriend needed to use the internet for work.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house and the surrounding area. We look forward to visiting again.

The house was spotless and everything was so new but best of all was the soaking tub! My wife really enjoyed it.

The decor reflects the old railroad junction location. It's clever and appropriate. The house is cute as a button and well-appointed. Bedroom is upstairs, so not handicap accessible. Close to Newport and all its attractions. Easy load in and out. Recommended.

We needed a getaway and loved this spot! It was clean and had everything we needed. The train will shake the house and is a little loud but it’s not too bad. We loved that the house was in a location where we could drive to wherever we needed.

Stayed at the Wickford Junction home for move in at URI. Home was very clean, and close proximity to stores and things to do. Very clean home and recently updated.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wickford Junction House. The house has been renovated from top to bottom with no details overlooked! From washer/dryer to any kitchen item one could possibly need.
We were moving our daughter into school so we were in and out and didn’t need to cook but I almost wish I had! LOL
The house was immaculate. I felt like we were the first visitors to stay there.
Heidi was responsive and easy peasy to communicate with.
The house is right by the train tracks, which didn’t bother us but it is loud and the house does shake a bit. If you’re a light sleeper, you may need to use ear plugs or a fan to help drown out the noise. It didn’t seem to pass between the late PM hours and early AM hours.
It was perfect for our needs! The house is also spacious, I couldn’t believe how big it felt for a tiny house.
We would definitely stay here again.

Great location 20 mins from Newport and Narraganset. The train is a little loud when it goes by but it stops/starts at a reasonable hour and is infrequent. Very nice and clean place to stay.

We had a lovely stay. The property was beautiful, close to the water and everything we needed.

We have always camped in a travel trailer for our annual trip to Newport. This year we decided to rent a house and we are so glad we did! House is exactly as described in the listing and looks exactly like the pictures. House was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. The house is beautifully renovated and very well decorated. It is close to shopping and restaurants. It was an easy drive in to Newport. We really loved the town of Wickford as well. You do feel the train come by as the house does shake a little, but it goes past so fast it was not a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an excellent stay. The house was clean with nice decor. It felt like home away from home. We would gladly stay there again for our next trip to Rhode Island.
