Welcome to The Lilypad - a charming beach cottage, featuring 3 bedrooms all on one floor, plus a lower level bonus sleeping area/rec room. Live like a local in this quiet, peaceful neighborhood, less than a 10 minute walk to Sheridan Beach on Lake Michigan. Grill out under the stars or enjoy a glass of wine by the fire pit, or retreat to the lower level to enjoy a family movie night on the oversized couch.
Just minutes to the best of Michigan City's restaurants & pubs, outlet mall shopping, casinos, the zoo, playgrounds, and more.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was stunning! Close enough to the beach that you can walk, but not a part of the main Beachwalk community. Per rental agreement, we were going to have to buy wristbands and parking passes for our stay, but when we got there, the office informed us we wouldn’t have access to the facilities because we were off main campus so we wouldn’t need to purchase those (no big deal for us!). The shower does creak when you use it and feels like you might fall through, lol. Our microwave and quite a few outlets didn’t work despite checking the breaker box, and our back door lock was broken. I did let the office know about the microwave and lock and they were able to come out same day to fix the lock! Microwave still wasn’t working when we left. Overall good stay, but a few hiccups that may need to be addressed for the next renter!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in Michigan City. The property was easy to locate and access. It was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. It was convenient to activities/sites in the area and close to where our children were staying. The property manager was available if needed and offered good customer service. Overall, we were very happy and hope to visit again sometime.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for the second half of our family group, to be near their house located within the Beachwalk resort. Although its location isn't as nice, the house is nicely appointed and comfortable, and a convenient short walk to Beachwalk.

Bathtub is unstable and wobbly-need to put in grip bar or non-slip strips before someone gets hurt. Needs a few more coffee cups.

I myself is handicap (Legs & feet). Afraid of falling through. All that stayed were lyre of the tub floor.

I couldn't find the Key box at the entrance so used garage as main entrance for the two days I started.

House was clean and organized!
