Would I stay at this hotel again no.. let me start off check-in was easy you put a deposit of $50 but the next day I noticed I had another charge of $68! They reassured me. I was going to get it back when I checked out I asked about it and they said by Tuesday I should get it back unfortunately I didn’t so I had to call my bank, but that’s not it!!! When I was checking out, I informed them I paid the room with a third-party somehow they still charged me for a night after I checked out! The charge did not post until Tuesday. That’s when I noticed very very unorganized now I have to deal with canceling my card and getting a new one.! Now let’s get to breakfast. Make sure you get there within the first hour if not, a lot of the items will be out. at the end of our trip, we decided it’s not worth the price or the headache might as well just pay the extra $60-$80 and stay at the Hampton Inn & Suite!!!

Before getting to La Quinta..... We got to Yuma at 5pm after a long drive from our California weekend. We book 2 room at the Shilo Inn next to the crab restaurant. We checked in and immediately smelled weed in the dimly lit hallways. Once we got to the first room we got a strong wiff of urine in the room. I don't what species relieved itself on the floor, we started packing up immediately. The second room we got had a bad odor, I believe someone spilled their beer all over the floor. We had all of belongings out of the rooms already. The whole 10 minutes we were enduring our stay there was a small dog barking incessantly in the room next to us. The front desk personnel tried to accommodate us with different rooms but I declined because what are the odds it would get any better. We then immediately book the La Quinta rooms and the elevator was in repair but the front desk personnel upgraded our rooms for no extra charge. The rooms were clean, bright and void of any smells. My kids played at the pool all evening and all morning. Breakfast went good without a hitch. Thank you La Quinta staff for your excellent service!

Room was perfect and bed was extremely comfortable. The elevator broke while we were there and the morning staff did not seem to care much. But when we went to check out the new shift of employees was beyond nice and offering to help.

This is a new hotel open now for 7 months, there is nothing around within walking distance. My check-in was not efficient and i asked the older gal helping me why it was taking so long, it would have been funny if it was a comedy skit but it took over 10 minutes of her clacking away to get me a room, she asked repeatedly for an email which i refused. Get to the room she assigned and it was next to an electrical room, i open the door and all i could hear was buzzing from electrical room. Immediately went to lobby and asked for a different room and a nice young man helped me this time and was a bit faster but still longer than any hotels I've stayed in. Room was clean but the trim ring for shower head pipe through wall was not attached as you find in any rundown place, i mean it takes 2 minutes to caulk that in place wth? Had another issue after i left later that day, my deposit wasn't put back on card so i called, they said it takes 5 to 7 days. I ended up calling corporate office and magically my refund was issued the next day. Completely unacceptable, it should be refunded shortly after checkout. I could understand some delays if this hotel was full but there was hardly anyone there, i estimate maybe 5 percent capacity or less. Wednesday night, maybe 20 vehicles in lots.i will not stay at this hotel again, there are many more options in Yuma with amenities at properties or within walking distance.

I know this property is very new, but they didn't skimp on cleaning thoroughly. Everyday there were staff cleaning every inch of the hotel, and housekeeping didn't use the newness of the hotel as an excuse to not clean the rooms thoroughly. The staff was very, very friendly and helpful.

Staff is always friendly, weve stayed here quite a few times. Rooms are hit or miss, sometimes they arent cleaned very well, but its a new facility and unlike the Best Western (Foothills) it doesnt have bed bugs. Beds are very soft, wish they were firmer.

We needed a stopping point on our way to San Diego since we were taking our first trip with a 3 month old. You could tell the hotel was new. We also stayed the night with our dog ($25 fee for dog). We were able to get an upgraded room at no charge since we requested a first floor room for our family. Front desk representative was courteous and the hot breakfast was good. Would stay here again if in Yuma.

It was nice staying at the newest hotel in Yuma. It seemed clean cut and pristine. That was until I stepped on Toe Nail clippings in the suite. Thought it was a 1 off, but I counted like 7/8 at the end of it. Nothing the hotel could do about it though, not the best response for a disgusting issue like that.

Everything was excellent especially the breakfast. Our only complaints were the check in desk as it didn’t have anyplace to fill out our forms. More counter area needed for that. Also, the hot tub was only a little more than Luke warm with a heavy bleach smell. So, we were not able to stay in it.

It was just okay. Last time i stayed there the lady that sets the breakfast out was rude to me bc i asked her a question as she had akready broke down the waffle station an hour before breakfast was over. I was not a fan of her unprofessional manner. Rooms there are nicer and newer than a lot of yuma that charges more.

Like that everything is new here Unusual there are no lights in the ceiling, so it’s kind of dark. I haven’t stayed anywhere that you cannot hear the occupants above you with heavy feet, etc.
