About this house rental

Shirley's Place is a one-bedroom room with 3 futons in the living room giving you sleeping space for 6 people. There is a bathroom for the master bedroom and a bathroom off the living room. There is a dock and pier across the road for fishing and docking your boat. You have a boat ramp just down from the cottage to launch your boat. Shirley's Place is located in a good fishing place on Negreet Creek which takes you out to the open lake.
Shirley's will be clean and in working condition. No compensations will be given for non-working items outside the owner’s control, including but not limited to power outages, TV outages, internet
outages etc. For items inside the owner’s control, the owners will make every attempt to rectify problems that may occur while you are in the home. It is
the renter’s responsibility to notify the owner immediately if there are any problems. No refunds or any other compensation will be given for the problems that the owner is able to rectify within a reasonable time frame.
Shirley's is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
By your confirmation, guests booking Shirley's Place are hereby agreeing to all terms and conditions of this agreement.

Stay was great property was just as described and right across the street from turner creek on Toledo bend . Great place for a couple or a family getaway. Enjoyed our stay looking forward to going back .

Great spot for overflow family. One negative the master shower isn’t working. Other than that great clean spot to catch some AC and sleep. Would rent again

Perfect camp for the five of us , plenty of room and the kids got to swim right off the dock

We enjoyed our stay. It was convenient having our own boat lunch. The cottage is simple, which we enjoyed ( the kids not so much). There was no wifi, but we were okay woth that. Communication with the property manager was amazing.

Property was mostly as advertised. Clean place and nice location. Comfortable stay. However, the dock was advertised as available for fishing and when we pulled up one evening ready to fish the owners were there fishing with 4 rods taking up the whole dock. My dad and I had to fish off the back of the boat. The next day when we returned and wanted to fish the owners had left their rods on the deck with lines in the water. Did not fish again because I did not want to move their belongings. I was under the impression we would have a private experience and did not feel comfortable asking the owners to leave their own place. If they wanted to use it they should have not allowed guests on the dates we booked.

Mr Bob and his wife were very nice and their place was clean and comfortable so we qill stay again when we’re in the area.

Very old home with appliances and fixtures to match. For instance the shower head was really low, the ice maker was frozen up and one of the toilets had things growing in it. I couldn’t get WiFi. Lots of small problems that weren’t dramatic I just can’t justify those with the price to equal 5 stars. It is however in a good location and did have electricity at the boat launch. The owners were next door and friendly.

Property was as advertised. I enjoyed the quiet and the lake view.

Owners were under foot. Seemed too nosey. We felt uncomfortable with the owners around. Several light bulbs were out, with no spares.

Cabin was very clean. Mattress was not the most comfortably. Boat launch and dock made it very easy to either leave boat in water are take it out no electricity on dock was the only problem. Met the owners two of the nicest people you ever want to meet. They said next improvement to dock was to bring electricity there. Would stay their again
