Lovely hotel and great staff. Good job we're not taller though since the ceilings are pretty low on the top floor.

We had a great stay - very close to the markets and had a lovely afternoon tea - will definitely go back in the summer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in an excellent location, near Victoria Park, a very short walk to the Christmas Market, and close to many shops, resraurants, and bars/pubs.
The room was great, spotless, quite comfy and the staff were excellent.
The only downside was that it could get quite noisy in the room, ambulances regularly driving by and very clearly hearing doors closing and other guests in the corridors. It wouldn't deter us from staying again though!

Lovely hotel a little disapointed with the nouse from tge building work starting at 8am . I was looking forward to a relaxing lie-in but that was cut short but otherwise it was super with lovely staff across the board

This was an excellent location to explore Bath. The hop on hop off bus had a stop near the hotel so I never had to use my car to get around. The staff members were all very nice and helpful. The car park was to the rear of the hotel and very convenient.

Lovely hotel with a lovely room…. Except…. Floorboards are so squeaky that you can hear everyone’s footsteps. Room above us was very active at 6.30 on a Sunday morning that they woke us up! Needs a carpenter and some sound-deadening underlay!!

My sister and I had a very pleasant time, staff were always polite and friendly. Room was very clean and facilities were excellent. Only one issue was the low light level in the room (old eyes) but this did not detract from overall quality.

I love to travel and find the cute hotels and pictures if this hotel on all websites do make it look magical. One photo that is very deceiving on this website is the second photo of a steamy nice pool that overlooks the city. Instead of labeling this picture not at the hotel but at a paid bathhouse down the road it looks like it’s part of the hotel- one of the main attractions of the hotel when it’s not. The rooms are okay. They are very small- I was a solo traveler and I can’t imagine how two people would be in this room comfortably. The bathroom was nice however slightly dirty and some mildew in the corners of the shower with very little airflow as after a 5 minute hot shower the room was still foggy after two hours of me coming back into room. No fan. The view was overlooking a construction site and even without the construction it would be a not nice courtyard. The main thing that really put me off was that the WiFi didn’t work, causing me to use almost all my international data just to get around and therefor the tv didn’t work for anything but local stations even tho it says you can connect with your phone, when asking at the front desk the woman said sorry our WiFi signal is too week to accommodate- so why have the QR code and say you can steam tv? Why not have better WiFi? Its a giant hotel surely they can sort it out, especially when someone is paying over $350 a night for a room. Overall I wish I stayed somewhere else - it was close to the town but everything is

We have stayed at so many hotels in the UK, but this is without a doubt our absolute favourite.
We wrote to the receptionist the morning before we arrived, as we had some special needs, and everything was ready when we arrived a few hours later. The hotel and our room was beautiful and clean. ( it’s difficult to reach our standard of cleaning, but in this room we finally found it.)
The staff was very service minded and helpful. We called the receptionist for help, as we couldn’t get the air conditioning starting. In 1 1/2 minute, she was nocking on our door.
We tried the restaurant for dinner, and even though we hadn’t booked a table in advance, and had special needs, they made sure of a private dining room for us. The service here was also incredible.
We had a drink in the bar, and they made a drink for me, that wasn’t even on their menu.
The staff all through this hotel went above and beyond for their guests.
It’s right in town, but was completely quiet. The bed was very comfortable and not to hard. It had a homely feeling and we will definitely be staying there again, and recommend it.

Our second stay here. Beautiful period hotel, lovely lounge area with separate bar area. Superb decor in keeping with its Georgian heritage. Each bedroom is individually decorated. We loved the way there is information referring to original occupants of the houses that make up the hotel.

The property needs updating, broken fixture in the bath and a terrible "Plastic" chair at the room's desk. The bed was well worn.

Most welcoming and comfortable stay at The Francis. Clean and cosy room, excellent service and food at Boho Marche. The perfect base to explore Bath!

Very nice hotel well situated in the middle of Bath. The room was spacious and newly re-decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was well-prepared and with a good selection of English and continental elements.
We would stay there again and can recommend a stay.
