we stayed for just 1 night, and we were very pleased. room is small, can only open 1 luggage at a time, but everything was clean and had a nice bay view. you may get personal care items by the front desk on the 5th fl. one thing they do not offer is bottled water. we were advised that the 'bathroom water' is potable, however, if you're not comfortable drinking tap water, there's a 7-11 downstairs.

The property is showing its age but is well-maintained. It is close to a lot of tourist attractions and within walking distance to the train station. The view from the room was incredible. There is a 7-11 at the bottom of the building and plenty of restaurants around. The hotel breakfast was good but make sure to be there early since they close the kitchen at 930AM.

The hotel was in a good location not far from the Osaka Castle. Not in the city centre but very close to a metro station, which allows you to get to the city centre quite quickly. I'd highlight the location as the best feature of this hotel.

Very pleasant stay, relived past memories of living in Yokohama 22 years ago. Staff had good grasp of english. Would definitely stay here again if I can make it back.

When I checked in the staff were rather discourteous- they did not offer a greeting. Even though several staff were free at their desks they just pointed to the machine to check in. The clerk who helped me check in also did not make an attempt to speak to me in any language, but merely gestured. Is this Omotenashi”? Or does it not extend to non-Japanese?

Great location, I got the night view room, the view is amazing. Very close to train station and easy to get around. No street noise at night. Staffs are very friendly. Breakfast is great and has with many options. Room is very small. It's tough for 2 people to move around. There are elevators from street to the room floor. Security is not the best especially for single female travellers. I don't have an issue myself but you don't know people getting off at your floor are hotel guests or not. I will stay again for the view.

Stay at the room with city view, but the room is kind of small and the width of window is narrow so the view is very limited. The room size is a typical size in Tokyo area, but i always feel sorry for foreign tourists with big suitcases because there is literally no space to open suitcases widely and walk in the room.

Overall a great stay with a value price. The room size is big, staffs are helpful and friendly. However, the cleaning service need to improve and the air conditioning need to turn on / service, as it was NOT WORKING and we were sweating all night during our stay in April!

The hotel is just besides the JR station and is near to the cable car station which is very convenient to nearby sight-seeing places. There are also many good restaurants inside the hotel building and nearby area.
