Great Location for the Price, but Some Drawbacks This hotel is a solid choice for the price, especially because the location is super convenient. It’s in a walkable area with plenty of restaurants and food options nearby, which was a huge plus. That said, the building is definitely older, so you can hear people climbing the stairs and shutting their doors, which can be a little noisy at times. While the room appeared clean, I did have some concerns about whether they wash the comforters, blankets, and pillow covers regularly. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for affordability and convenience, but be prepared for a bit of noise and potential cleanliness concerns.

Very easy check in and check out process. Room is a little stuffy but otherwise large and comfortable. The location is very nice, and its a good price with lots of restuarants, bars, and most important coffee shops around and walkable.

A real gem centrally located in SF. Walk out of your door and restaurants abound. Free parking. Unheard of in SF. A few blocks to Symphony hall and Opera House. Safety rating 9/10. No worries walking the streets.

Clean good price for San Francisco parking included a great bonus .No breakfast but many coffee shops and restaurants a short stroll away .Hayes Valley great vibrant neighborhood .short walk Opera or symphony hall or SF Jazz .

We can't believe our good luck in finding this place: clean, secure, comfortable, and with parking! Manager and staff actually gave us the impression they were watching out for us, it felt so comfortable. We walked from there everywhere we wanted to go, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. Yes, the bathroom could use some counter space, but that's so minor up against the pluses.

Perfect for a Bill Graham event! Less than 1/2 mile and 10 minute walk on the same street as the venue. Felt the area was safe. The owner was beyond kind and accommodating. He let us check in early and provided us a 4th floor room to view the jets passing for fleet week. Parking is limited, but free if you’re early enough. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy, and the AC worked very well in the room. Will continue to book here for future events, thank you IOG!

The opera, symphony, SF jazz and Asian Museum are a few blocks away, along with many wonderful restaurants. The corner rooms are bigger and quite comfortable.

Biren at check-in was very friendly, got us into our room a little early, nice! Two blocks from Hayes/Octavia, walking distance to Divisidero — we saw a phenomenal rock band (Beasto Blanco) at The Independent. Clean, a little funky, super small elevator but good stairs. Great restaurants nearby.

This hotel is in a great location and very walkable to food. Bed was a bit hard but not horrible. The manager was accommodating to my situation, room was in my name but my husband was only staying there because I was having surgery and being admitted into the hospital and they allowed me just give his name so he can have access to the room. I had to add an additional day because I had to stay an extra day and it was a seamless process.

If you're looking for frills and extras this is NOT the place for you. If you're looking for a clean, quiet place with a friendly, accommodating staff then you will love it here! Close to downtown and a lot of places were in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

Service was amazing! Our room was clean and every day they did our beds and gave us new towels. Staff is so friendly and helpful, Jay answered all our questions regarding our stay. Location is nice, near the city hall and walk distance to take bus.
