Overnight stay before flight home after being in Mostar for a week. Lovely apartment, great view and nice outside area and pool. Excellent communication from owner and very helpful re area, things to do, how to get into Cavtat and further afield and also booked a cab for me to get to airport the next day.

The place has an amazing view and the pool is a refreshing touch. It was very clean and comfortable. Only downside is the cigarette smoke that would come through the vent/ air conditioner from the neighbors. Couldn’t sleep with windows open because of the mosquitoes so there was no escape from the smell. The place is located up the hill from Cavtat town center and is a 20 minute walk (if walking down hill) but you can always catch a cab if you don’t want to walk back up. All in all, the place was great and would have been perfect if not for the invasion of the cigarette smoke.

The property is OK. Negatives: Some cabinets in the kitchen are broken/loose. Freezers handle is broken and doesnt close. Sleeping-sofa is veery uncomfortable. Shower does not have any curtains or drain outside of the shower - so water splashes everywhere and stays there. (The host gave us towels to clean up) Its a 20-30min walk to the main center from the apartment. Too little sunshade, both in the balcony and around the pool. Positives: Amazing view from the balcony. Host is generally helpful. Theres a "private" beach 2-3min from the apartment.

We enjoyed our stay at Recidence Alpha. The views are stunning. The apartment was clean and a decent size for our family of 4 for 3 nights. The pool facilities were good. It was nice to be able to stroll into Cavtat. There are a lot of stairs and hills, but we already knew that.

The room itself was clean and spacious with a fantastic view from the large balcony! The host Petar was ver nice and accommodating, however when the power went out late at night there was no one to contact. Luckily I found the breaker to remedy the situation. Also a couple of other things that would have been nice to have would be extra towels (only one per person for 3 nights) more lounge chairs by the pool( there was never any available for our family) and a freezer. We like to make ice for drinks in the evening and for our water bottles during the hot days and while there was a refrigerator for some reason no freezer. Lastly, it was a bit of a walk to Cavtat, so we would have preferred to be in town, but it is a nice place and a short walk to a private beach which was very nice!

Good view. Walked to the beach. Peter was our host, and was able to tell us everything we needed to know. He even booked a taxi to the airport for us. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect for what we needed

We enjoyed our stay at Residence Alpha. Excellent view of the sea from the terrace, friendly staff and a cute resident cat with 6 kittens. The apartment was well appointed with modern furniture and comfortable bed. It is walking distance to the beach if you don't mind climbing many steep stairs. Parking is there but can be tricky at full occupancy. We had a bit of a mosquito problem, which could be helped by installing nets on windows. An umbrella on the terrace would also have been helpful to get some shade (a stand was there but no umbrella). Not ideal for people with mobility issues.

We stayed 5 nights in the two bedroom apartment with amazing views. Peter the manger was very helpful with giving us ideas and hints for great swimming spots in the nearby coves. We did have some problems with the television, no gas for cooktop and lights not working. Items like dishwashing tablets, shower gel and other basics were not supplied. The spa on the roof was not working and it looked like there was water damage in areas of the apartment. Many stairs to get to the apartment provided us a challenge each day. We did enjoy our stay and Cavat is a lovely spot to enjoy restaurants, walking and an easy day trip to Dubrovnik.

Communication was great, and the people very friendly and helpful with great suggestions. The views were beyond amazing. We chose this because we wanted a place outside of, but near, Dubrovnik and had no idea how charming and great Cavtat itself would turn out to be. Be aware that there is a significant climb of several sets of stairs and ramps both up to and within the residence building from the parking area.

Great apartment close to a great beach. Wouldn’t be suited to those who who didn’t like walking as the main village is about 20 mins walk but we loved that as it was a beautiful stroll. Petar was really helpful and we truly loved our stay.

We loved the place. Was difficult to find as the alpha is up the hill and some stairs. Dont recommended if you're having mobility issues. The host lives on site available for check in he prefers a call ahead of arrival time. Building has pretty rooftop for hanging out and nice for sunset views. We were delayed one day and they were able to accommodate us another night and arranged airport shuttle for us. Recommend the windows to be kept shut as the mosquitoes will get in and ykeep you up all night. Stay here and water taxi/tour to Dubrovnik old town is a good option if your planning a trip.

This place is amazing. Views are fantastic . Only thing is be in shape to climb the steep hill ( no cars ) up to it than stairs possibly to your room. Pack what you can haul up. The rooms were nice . Beautiful views a short walk to town.

We had a little problem with communication. I tried several times to make arrangements for someone to let us into the apartment. We arrived after dark and didn't see any markings to let us know if we were in the correct place. Someone came to meet us. Info in the listing does state that there is no elevator, but looking at the pics, I thought it was a two story building. Our building was on the 4th tier and we had to carry our bags up 80 steps in the dark. I'm glad I had a flashlight. Once we got into the apartment, it was very nice. Clean and comfortable with a lovely view. It was only a few minutes drive to the airport. I would recommend these apartments if you aren't 74 years old with bad knees.

Comfortable accommodation. Little way out of Cavat, we had car so was ok. Steep climb to property, so bear that in mind. Beautiful views over harbour, bed very good and kitchen well equipped. We only stayed one night so couldn’t comment further but would recommend if you are happy to walk into Cavat or have a car. Host was very helpful and clear instructions.

Residence Alpha is a wonderful seaside getaway that is only 10 minutes away from the airport and 30 minutes from Dubrovnik. Petar is a gracious host who made our stay truly memorable with recommendations on what to see and where to eat. The apartments look out to the sea and down to the nearby port town. There is a small pool and access to a great little swimming beach. Just be aware that the apartments are up several flights of stairs, so be prepared to get your steps in.

Lovely stay ! Clean, comfortable and spacious studio apartment was perfect for my husband and I. The host Petar was amazing and helped us organize tours , laundry and kept our suitcases safe when we had to checkout but had no where to leave them before our flight. Really accommodating . The location is a 10 min walk from the main strip and 2 mins away is the most secluded beautiful beach !

We had a wonderful family stay at this fabulous apartment complex offering wonderful sea views across the bay. The air condition apartment featured a well furnished lounge and kitchen area as well as a master bedroom and bathroom with excellent shower. We all enjoyed cooling off in the pool although we swam in the sea daily as the beach is just a five minute walk away. The host Peter was incredibly hospitable and attentive and we will certainly be back.

The apartment was modern and comfortable. Peter was a great host and really cares for the complex and his town. There is parking on site, it’s just a little tight but very doable. Cavtat is a great place to stay outside of Dubrovnik, really has every you would want at a ocean town.

Noise from construction right in front of the building. Were not aware this was not fully serviced flats and had not brought enough towels for beach/pool and shower or planned to shop for toiletpaper, amenities and cleaning product. Saw two snakes slithering across the path on the way to the beach. The owner was constantly hovering by the pool.
