Unerwartet schöne Unterkunft mit einem außergewöhnlich freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Besitzer

Frühstück war sehr gut und man konnte auch Eier, Speck etc. gegen geringen Aufpreis bestellen. Es gab Bier, Wein und Softdrinks inklusive!

Great host and a short (for work) but lovely stay.

Very nice selection for continental breakfast. Each serve of a good variety of cereals was individually packaged in sealable glass containers. Nespresso coffee. Toast & spreads served to order.

We were very happy with the location and service by staff and management

Good continental breakfast - Cooked breakfast at a small fee, great. Roger is a superb host, we felt very welcome and spoiled by the extras provided, such as bottled water, wine, fruit etc.

Lorelei B&B is an old charming house and the owner is a very nice person. We felt at home in a large room with a great bathroom. We recommend the B&B.

Very friendly host , great location gorgeous antique furnishings , and stained glass windows , loved the spa bath and extra dental, shaving pack you don't see at most places great continental breakfast or cooked breakfast we had both large rooms too

Fantastic old house with gorgeous furnishings, very comfortable bed and lovely continental breakfast. Although we didn’t partake the wine and port was a lovely touch.

A short drive or a comfortable stroll from the town centre, Lorelei B&B was clean and comfortable. Included breakfast options were plenty but a cooked breakfast was also available should be have asked for it ($10 extra from memory).

It is the little things provided at Lorelei that matter, and make you want to visit again. Such as the facilities to have a coffee or drink with dinner, bits and pieces in the bathroom Dental and Shaving kits etc, and the friendly host.

Beautiful B&B

The Lorelei is an absolutely gorgeous hidden gem, within walking distance of the port and restaurants, etc. Roger was a great host, and we felt like we had walked back in time with all the lovely antiques throughout the home. Our room was adorable, spacious, sparkling clean, comfortable, and with a very old-fashioned vibe. The private ensuite bathroom was all new and modern, but the tiled floors and walls were decorated like it was antique. Everything we could have needed and more in terms of bathroom amenities, plus a small fridge. The bed and pillows were comfy, it was quiet, and there were two nice chairs for reading or sitting, plus a desk and plenty of space for luggage. Breakfast was perfect for our wishes - cereals, milk, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, and a nice assortment of teas, all served in the beautifully appointed antique formal dining room with 12-foot ceilings. (Roger offered a cooked hot breakfast for an extra charge, but we prefer the style of breakfast mentioned.)

We found everything to be delightful, and our stay exceeded our expectations.

Absolutely a must visit/stay.

Lovely heritage style B&B. Great host who likes to make people feel welcome. Not only be free breakfast/wine/beer. Very spacious room with all desired items like airco, en suite bathroom and great wifi. Location is great with nearby bars and restaurants. Portland itself is also a nice play to stay longer then one day.

No dislikes accept for me having to move on 🤔.
