Accueil, chambre, accès plage excellent

Accueil superbe, voiture garée devant la grosse maison. Accès plage à 50m. Front de mer avec boutiques et restaurants e 300m. Chambre confortable, bien équipée et balcon. Baignade après le petit déjeuner et avant de repartir

Our stay was great and the host were super friendly and kind. The breakfast is yummy with a home cooked meal. The room was very clean and everything was in walking distance.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

Although the staff were friendly, the proximity to main road and decor was not good.

The location was close to the promenade and public/private beaches. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was a lovely meal served on the rooftop.

It was right on the main road and traffic noise was loud. The room was rather sparse and for the cost ( one night 150 euros), didn’t think it was value for money. Also you can only pay in cash . The photo does not reflect the front of the place- it is taken from one of the balconies on the upper floor.

It was quick and nice stay, I would return and recommend.

The staff was very nice, we felt very welcomed. The breakfast was simple but good as well (juice, coffee, eggs, bread, jam). It is very close to the city center (~5 min) which was surprising busy at night in a good way, lots of bars and restaurants. And it also around 7 min distant from the beach, also walking, so a perfect stay for the ones planning to enjoy the beaches during the day and have a few drinks or a nice dinner on the night.

The AC in one of the 2 bedrooms was not working properly, but as we were staying only one night we did think it would be worthy to complain about it as it was still possible to sleep well. Maybe we would be offered a new room if we had as the staff was very nice and friendly.

A warm and welcoming villa run by lovely owners

- The owners prepared a home made continental breakfast each morning on the balcony of their penthouse apartment. They made an effort to know what we liked and made it for us. - The owners offered to take us anywhere locally that we wanted to visit. One of the owners took us to a hidden beach and picked us up when we wanted to come back in his car which was very nice.

The whole stay was superb and welcoming. The price per night is high but its worth it.

The breakfast and the location are the advantages of this property. The owners are friendly and very handy that they have a parking

The WiFi was poor quality and the towels were very hard. Not every morning warm water. The first day we had a leakage but this was solved quickly. The property is a bit outdated and more expensive than our other hotels.

Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Himare.

Vila Kosteli was in a super location. Hosts were so friendly and nothing was a problem. They even dropped us up to visit the castle! Breakfast was served on the outdoor terrace looking over the sea. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect place in Himarë

Kiriakos and Aphrodite are very welcoming and great hosts. We felt like they were our family. Everything we needed they gave us with a big smile and a lot of love. The room was very big, with a little refrigerator and hanger for our wet bathing suites. Kiriakos also made sure we always have parking :-) Everything was just perfect!!!

It was a very pleasant stay.

The people working in the Villa were very friendly. They gave us a nice cup of coffee when we arrived and we felt very welcome. The location is very close to the beach and boulevard. We were surprised during the lovely breakfast!

The light in the room was a little bit too bright. Maybe change this to a more warm and subtile colour.

Highly recommended!

The hosts are amazing people. Very polite and helpful with everything you might need. The place was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. On top of that the location is top notch, you can easily access a lot of nice restaurants and the main square is 5-minute walking distance.

we enjoyed our stay here a lot! the room was very big, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very kind and prepared a great breakfast for us, which we enjoyed on the balcony with morning sun and seaview!

Kyriakos gave good advice on places to see and not see in the region.

It is a villa belonging to a family, so a visitor should not expect hotel service. The room was new and the bath towels were folded and shaped on the bed to look like kissing swans. There was a little rack on the balcony to dry wet swimming suits and beach towels.

lovely peaceful stay in a comfortable, clean room in a great location and lovely hosts. highly recommend

fabulous and helpful and kind hosts. upgraded our room for free so we could enjoy the beautiful terrace views. lovely breakfast looking out over the bay. provided beach towels for us. room very clean and comfortable. great location, just a few steps away from the beach, restaurants and supermarket.

nothing we didn’t like. only thing that could have made it better would be to have some basic tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

it was a horrific experience

it’s close to the beach

there was no lift and ours was on third floor. we literally had to carry all our luggages through the stairs. the view from the balcony is blocked by a building in front. only a corner view of beach was available. breakfast was bad that we all got headaches and vomiting throughout the day.

The best place to stay in Himare!

The hosts were super kind and took very good care of our stay. It was a pleasure to meet them during our trip. The breakfast is homemade and very good, with a great view to the beach. The rooms are large and the balconies are very good to spend some time after dinner talking and reviewing the day. In the room there is a fridge we’re you can keep cold the beers/fruits to bring to the beach. The location is perfect since the apartment is not in the very noisy area, but in a very walkable distance to the center where you can find restaurants, supermarkets, bars and etc. In sum, it was a wonderful experience during our 3 days in Himare!

The internet connection is not great, but it works.

Perfect 1-Night Stay; Wish It Could Have Been Longer!

Afërditë was a fantastic hostess. Really friendly and welcoming (she even offered us a beer upon arrival). The room was immaculately clean and had a view over the sea. Our breakfast was out of this world: freshly pressed coffee, juice, homemade jam, bread, butter, scrambled eggs and fresh figs - all with a sea view to go with it. It was the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. Faleminderit to Afërditë and her partner!

Very good

The location is great, the rooms are comfortable and modern, and there are nice balconies overlooking the sea. As you'll find all the reviewers saying, the breakfast on the balcony is great fun, and the jam is excellent; so are the 'omelettes'. The staff are very nice - they brought our kids plums and high-fived them when we met in the street. We really enjoyed our stay.

(1) When you arrive it's very hard to know what to do - there's no door, bell, reception desk, etc., just the steps up the side that lead to the various rooms. It wasn't just me with this problem - when we arrived there was a couple standing on the street wondering the same thing; I managed to check-in because the couple accosted a guest and the guest found the staff. (2) The price - double what I paid anywhere else in Albania, although I guess that's just Himare to a large extent. (3) The fact that you have to pay cash in Euros.

The hosts are very friendly! You feel very welcome. There's a sweet breakfast with an optional variety of eggs on the rooftop with a great view. The room is functional, with a little balcony. Just a shower curtain would be preferable. You can park your car directly in front of the house. The beaches are just a short walk away (2 Mins). We can totally recommend Vila Kosteli! 😊

best hosts in Albania - super clean and wonderful breakfast with a great view. we were lucky enough to try their homemade wine and raki and watch a beautiful sunset on the balcony!
