Voor een kort verblijf prima

De service van de receptioniste. Het personeel was sowieso heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. En we mochten een paar uur langer de betaalde parkeerplek gebruiken voor hetzelfde bedrag dus dat was heel attent. Ook kregen we gratis kaartjes voor openbaar vervoer die we in heel de omgeving voor 2 dagen konden gebruiken op dag van aankomst en vertrek.

Het was buiten 33 graden en er is geen airco in hotel maar ook niet op de kamer! Dus bloedheet. Alleen een heel summier staand ventilatortje die nauwelijks blaast. Daardoor hebben we heel slecht geslapen helaas. De badkamer leek wel een sauna. De foto van de kamer met de 3 palmbomen voor het raam is de kamer met het mooiste uitzicht. Onze kamer zat er naast en we keken al deels tegen ander gebouw aan. Ontbijt was simpel maar oke. Je kreeg maar een kopje en verder kon je alleen kleine schone drinkglaasjes pakken voor jus d'orange. Koffie drinken en thee daarna uit zelfde kopje is niet lekker. Verder is het een vrij duur hotel voor 1 nachtje. Als je naar de kabelbaan wilt is het de ideale locatie maar wil je naar het centrum, het meer en terrasjes dan zit je best ver er vandaan en lopend is het een pittige wandeling.

Repos et jolie vue

Vue magnifique sur le lac majeur. Grande chambre et terrasse propres et agréables. Bonne literie. Petit déjeuner simple mais correct. Pas d'air conditionné mais une sorte de ventilateur qui permet d'avoir une température agréable pendant la nuit.

Même si nous ne sommes pas supposés utiliser la cuisinette (50.- supplementaire), il serait quand même agréable de disposer de quelques couverts si on désire pique-niquer sur la terrasse. Merci pour le cadeau de bienvenue... 2 capsules de café pour tout le séjour.... c'est ridicule... vu le prix de la chambre, ils pourraient offrir au moins 2 capsules par jour. Un détail mais j'ai été surprise. La réception est censée être ouverte jusqu'à 18h mais à 17h il n'y a déjà plus personne. Demandez le Ticino ticket lors de votre arrivée car on ne vous le propose pas. Il permet de bénéficier de la gratuité sur les trains, les bus, cars postaux plus d'autres avantages.... ça fait quelques économies bienvenues.

Budgethotell med utsikt

Fin utsikt, bra sängar, god frukost.

Överlag snålt. En nespressomaskin med en kapsel per person totalt. (Vi stannade i en vecka.) 50 CHF för att få använda köket som hade minimal utrustning. Småsaker saknades, som inte kostar mycket men som skulle underlätta för gästerna. Ingen hiss, inget gym, ingen aircondition (men det visste vi innan).

Great for a quiet long weekend.

A simple and quiet place away from the city centre, friendly and helpful staff.

There is no elevator available, you need to carry your luggage up and down a few levels.

Great views and quiet, but there's nothing around

From the 3rd floor of the hotel, I had an amazing panoramic view of the lake and of the surrounding mountains. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very nice and helpful. And they have good wifi too.

The area being a mixture of hotels and private residences, has close to nothing else. There's no supermarket anywhere near and the few bars and restaurants all close a 9pm. This is the downside of the peaceful neighborhood.

Good views from the veranda. Very clean and quiet

Overpriced for the service and facilities. Lack of aircon made sleeping difficult. The fan provided did little to alleviate the heat.

HORRIBLE!

I didn’t like anything about this Hotel. not even a single point .

This is a horrible place , No air conditioner for a place which is extremely not sustainable and the rooms are extremely hot . you can die . No elevator and no one will help you with your suitcase. nothing is good about this Hotel , it’s very expensive for what it is . in the bathroom you can find others dirt . Horrible! well it’s located neat the bus station , if there were no other place available in this city you can book this place .

The breakfast was okay. The view was amazing.

The room had no furniture. Only the bed and a small table. The staff cleaned our room only the first day. The other day they just turned on a ventilator and didn't clean the room.

Everything was amazing more than expected...the view, the cleaned bed sheets and the entire room 🤍 the smell of fresh clean and spring flowers like when you enter the hotel 🌼 not least the welcoming staff from the reception, I will be back soon I hope to LA BARCA BLUE 💙 thank you and keep up the great work ⭐️

weekend hike trip

good location for hiking simple, relatively clean, quiet, beautiful view of lake, breakfast in room because of corona simple but lots of fresh croissants, rolls, cheese butter jams eggs

we missed a bit the personal contact upon arrival , no person, self check in with code but probably due to Covid situation over past year

I stayed several times in the Barca Blue with great pleasure. Great staff, great location and good breakfast and parking

Stil while we experience Corona and its Limitation: great staff and Location! Though We have to take down expectations..

Parking takes now place 120 Meters away, the breakfast is now a Box with a Paper plate from the room. More (fruits, joghurt, Mini Gipfeli) is supplied at the reception. Corona and Security measures are taking its toll, I am looking forward to a time things get more normal.
